You're all missing the point. What he did at previous clubs/NTs doesn't matter to Roman right now. Hiddink is the manager because he knows the club, he knows the owner., he knows the players and most importantly, everyone here loves him. It's a move to restore the 'feel good factor' at the club after a disappointing season and all the bad press we've been getting.

Hiddink said already that he advises Roman in an unofficial capacity regarding player movement, so surely the list we're going after has passed muster with him. He'll be our manager regardless the Tur-Bel result.

We should stop playing players out of position. Sturridge is a striker ... end of. Rumours about Drogba staying if true would mean we'd have Torres, Drogba, Sturridge and Lukaku. I don't see Sturridge waiting around after having proved himself at this level. And why should he? We just keep repeating the pattern of buying our way out of trouble. He needs a show of confidence, not insecurity that Lukaku will undoubtedly bring. A bird in hand = two in the bush.
