Practice what you preach, no? And honestly, the only time I cringed was when I read the post of yours that I replied to. Edit - No offence to you, James. Our thoughts match on most things.

No, what's embarrassing is people choosing to ignore that he and nobody else decided to shit all over the moments and memories we all had of him and us by lying and scheming in a bid to get one over Chelsea and thus us, Chelsea fans. You might not think it's worth fussing over, but please cut the sanctimonious "oh aren't you an embarrassment" bullcrap.

What a hero. Nobody deserved those goals yesterday more than him. I'll be pissed if we let him or Luis go.
-
City's bench to Chelsea's bench. Where's the motivation for him?
-
He's a fantastic talent and I think he'd do well for us but if the desperate Manc duos are in running I can't see us getting in the tug of war. Someone would have to break the British transfer record or get near to it to get him.
-
Not sure selection would say anything at all about his future. But non selection certainly would.

How many strikers like these have actually made the move from a poor team to a top one and succeeded? Very, very few. And there's a reason for that - they normally don't have the team built around them at the upper level, teammates aren't looking for them all the time, there are fewer spaces to operate in, opponents treat you differently. On the face of it Austin has everything to succeed if put in a more favourable environment - but so did Lambert at Liverpool, so did Darren Bent at Spurs, so did Andy Johnson at Everton, so did Roque Santa Cruz at Man City. Not saying it cannot happen, just that there's no evidence of it happening consistently to take a chance on him.

Still annoyed by our game at the Bridge last season.

I can never make it past 2 lines on a 4chan post.

This is the key thing that people can't seem to get about Willian. The guy simply cannot score goals. It has never been a part of his game, and at 27 it would take something unprecedented for him to suddenly come up with that ability. I made a couple of posts about this in some thread earlier - He deserves immense credit for the crucial contributions he has made in the final third since January, but we simply cannot expect him to sustain or better it over a season. A goalscoring wide man is the first box I want us to tick over the summer, whether or not Willian is moved inside permanently.

The Premier League in the last few seasons has seen an interesting development. No side has managed to retain a league title in 6 seasons - the last club to do so was Man United way back in 2009, which was the third in a hat trick of championships starting from 2007. Evidently, getting to the top has become much easier than staying at the top - and this is what should concern Mourinho and Chelsea, the runaway nature of this season's success notwithstanding. I've put together a list of the major transfer dealings of each of the title contenders during these past 6 seasons for comparison below. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler A recurring theme here is the reigning champions either ( a ) failing to replace outgoing players or ( b ) failing to add significant quality to the title winning squad while competitors strengthen enough to dethrone them. The concern The concern then stems from Mourinho's statements over the past week with regards to Chelsea's activities over the summer : Contrast that with Chelsea's intent at this stage last season : Now, Mourinho of course is a master manipulator when it comes to words in the press and his recent declarations could prove to be smoke and mirrors, especially with his comments likening the transfer market bubble to an impending collapse on Wall Street, but surely even he in his heart of hearts would know that Chelsea do in fact need changes, not wholesale changes, but some changes to take the next step - domestic consolidation coupled with European ascension. Areas to target As the season wore on it has become clear that a few more "surgical" signings in key areas is just what is needed to complete the puzzle. A ball playing centre half, a goalscoring winger to take some burden off Costa and Hazard, a central midfielder of enough quality to both complement and supplement the Matic-Fabregas duo would top most wishlists of Chelsea fans and the various transfer rumours swirling around the club confirm the general view in this regard. (Varane, Stones, Pogba, Koke, Griezmann, Bale have all been variously linked with a move to the club and they all make some sense.) The rivals Manchester United continue to flounder despite spending the best part of £200 million over last summer. With their Champions League status restored and a season under the collective belts of Mata, Herrera, Di Maria, Blind and Rojo, they can be expected to spend even more to push on under Van Gaal. Money is not an issue for Manchester City either, with them having proved that they're happy to pay any puny fines UEFA impose on them. The possible departure of Pellegrini and an ageing squad means there will be significant investment for whoever comes in. Arsenal are also free from their Emirates Stadium imposed shackles and are now legitimate rivals on the transfer front too. As to what Chelsea do in the transfer market this summer remains to be seen; but you can play your part by supporting the champions on their quest to defend their silverware by purchasing Chelsea tickets here. Conclusion All the indicators point to it being a hard fought battle for the best available players. Chelsea cannot afford to take their eyes off the ball even though they've never been better placed to launch a concerted effort at establishing a sustained period of dominance. 2014-15 was good but next season needs to be even better, and it needs to start in the transfer market. As the saying goes, a rolling stone gathers no moss. Click here to view the article

Bloody Costa. If he's not playing, we don't give away penalties. The moment he returns, we give one away. Coincidence? I think not. What an asshole.
-
Imagine winning the league with just 60 percent football. Costa
-
You're watching a whole different game to me, mate.
-
The press? Some of the TalkChelsea members seem to love it too. Fabregas .. I don't know what he was doing. It's a good thing we can laugh about it since there's nothing riding on this.
-
Meh, some of you sods complain about everything.
-
Wait, WBA play the Liquidator too? Edit - Ugh, wrong thread.
-
Cuadrado's got nobody to blame but himself. Salah looked like an idiot at times last season but even then he put in worldies compared to what the Colombian's been doing.
-
inb4 joke about having his legs open for suarez the other day and in the 7-1.
-
Personally not a big fan of saying this, that and the other every two days. Let your actions do the talking. Give him chances and more importantly, persist with giving him chances even if he hits a rocky patch somewhere.
-
Surprise surprise, Hazard leads in much more 'than just dribbles', though Reus is an absolute quality player. The numbers don't lie. It's amazing just how strong the new toy syndrome is for some when it comes to transfer rumours. Nevermind that Hazard is settled here and has the team built around him - hey, Reus and Gotze and cash looks appealing on paper so let's flog him. We should be looking to add Reus to Hazard; we're Chelsea, not Spurs.
-
£40 and £30 million sound about right for those two, yes.
-
Arsenal fans love an online poll. 4 options but no compulsion to finish 4th.

Putrid. It wouldn't look any worse even if someone shat on it.
