  1. We're just going to end up with Falcao and Douglas Costa, aren't we?
  2. Picked a pretty good Fantasy XI of guys he's played with : Cech; Thuram, Luiz, JT, Abidal; Makelele, Vieira, Lampard, Zidane; Henry, Drogba. https://www.chelseafc.com/news/blogs/boilerplate-allincfc/allincfc/florent-malouda-fc.html
  3. Seldom been less enthused about a major transfer
  4. Don't think it means anything as long it's just him saying it since he has all the incentive to. Coming out with "we put a proposal but are yet to hear back" doesn't sound very good to supporters.
  5. lol Remy "not even half the striker that is Falcao" ... come off it.
  6. Wow, Jose let himself go in Sydney .. became a weeabo.
  7. I don't like people being so dismissive of Benitez. The fans and him were never going to get along (I was part of that initially) but ultimately we did okay in the league and got another European trophy out of that year so for me, he has my respect.
  8. http://www.footballorgin.net/2015/06/premier-league-2014-2015-season-review.html beIN sport's EPL 14-15 review. Good coverage and fantastic quality.
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vds1B4iD9sw P.S. Who doesn't love some 80s porn music?
  10. That Madrid shirt is classy. Why do Adidas give us that abomination?
  11. Lukaku's yesterday's news afaic. Anyone who's been following Origi at Lille - how's he come along? It was embarrassing to watch Lukaku get upstaged by Origi at the WC.
  12. I'm happy because I supported this move right from the very beginning. Ship out Torres and bring in Remy (okay, he had a low buyout, so it was convenient) is an amazing piece of business. One of my favourite players in the squad. I'm a fanboy.
  13. Very nice interview related to the CL and the upcoming final --> http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jun/02/michael-ballack-juventus-barcelona-champions-league-final-berlin Some bits about Chelsea too, which I'll leave here :
  14. But if he's such an untouchable, why is he being treated like a second rate player? If you go by Mourinho's actions and not his words, Oscar is the opposite of an untouchable. He is touchable. Like, really. Cutie.
  15. Oscar is far from untouchable, as his treatment in the second half of the season shows (not starting big games, getting pulled at HT in some). I don't even mind him being public -- imo it just reinforces to Ruben that if he can get praised to the high clouds in a press conference, he can get pulled down just as sharply. Keeps him on his toes. I'm not sure that this should be read as Mourinho somehow "not liking him" - let's face it, he has been given chances and hasn't yet taken them and this is a reminder to keep pushing himself, not take things for granted. I think Mourinho knows exactly what he's doing and is looking for a particular reaction that will completely convince him about Ruben's temperament, because the skill is obvious. A sort of a final frontier, if you will.
  16. Record crowd that got to see some good football (by all accounts), a beautiful goal and a mix of some vets, world class players and academy babies. Plus, no injuries. Good job all around.
  17. Sometimes being the operative word.
  18. Just another test thrown young Ruben's way. Don't fret.
  19. Hahaha, Coldplay's Viva la Vida playing in the stadium .. the lyrics fit too " I used to rule the world Seas would rise when I gave the wordNow in the morning I sleep aloneSweep the streets I used to own One minute I held the keyNext the walls were closed on meAnd I discovered that my castles standUpon pillars of salt and pillars of sand" From CL winners to humiliation 3 months later.
  20. Longer version of the goal + better angle http://gfycat.com/DenseFineDogwoodtwigborer
