  1. i`m off to bed anyway,it`s 5:12am in blighty. this thread will either die quickly because it`s not something folks are livid about or will keep us talking for a few days whilst the transfer rumours go quiet.
  2. is only really Drogba who has left so far that was experienced AND had leadership qualities. Kalou was good for morale as he seemed to be someone to play pranks on and to others. but Luiz seems to have taken that role now. we have lots of captains still in the squad JT and Frank as chelsea captains. Cahill was captain at Bolton and Bran has been for Serbia i believe. Ramires seems a good team mate for team chemistry just like Luiz. Ferriera just seems to be the interpretor now..Cech is just as able for that if not more so. i wouldnt have got rid of Yossi i put him there just because it seems inevitable. i would personally let him stay till next year too. i just wanted to see what other people would do really and try and put it all together in one thread. i often read we shouldnt go for X or Y player we should get Z instead in threads so thought it worth starting a thread to cover it all.
  3. PF would be 5th choice FB behind Cole,Bran,Bertrand and Azpi..experience there. Marin,Mata,Hazard to cover LW/LM. experience there. not so crazy. but did ask more for what others would do more than what people thought of my choices..
  4. for me i think three more signings. realistically hopeful for : CF Lewandowski £20m RB Azpilicueta.£8m RW Moses £10m (bought then loaned out for season with option to cancel loan in January window) i would have loved Jovetic but i don`t think it`s happening, also Cavani but i don`t think that`s gonna happen either. to leave permanently: Benayoun,Ferreira,Malouda,Kakuta to leave on loan:De Bruyne,Lukaku,McEachran (i would have been fine keeping all 3 but they seem destined to leave on loan and not so much room for them at present. who is on your list?
  5. i`m really not bothered..but i think BlueLyon is gonna need a hug, some TLC and a couple of bottles of wild turkey , atleast to block out the pain if not get over it.
  6. not sure why you bringing Kakuta into it during your replies mate. i`m not wanting us to keep him around and ship KDB out i actually want to keep KDB around although like earlier stated if he has to go out on loan then i think Werder Bremen is the best place for him. i just don`t like the attitude he has so early into his Chelsea career. he`s already proven himself yes..in the belgian league. he could be worked into the lineup as a back up,coming off the bench and start games in the league cup,fa cup and against weaker opposition in europe and the EPL but just because he`s trained with the youth team twice he`s started making demands. he needs to accept he`s gonna play less games than he has in the past.even when he`s proven himself good enough in the EPL that will be the case. he hasn`t done enough to make such demands..he`s only just arrived at CFC really. he may have been the driving force for Genk. i don`t doubt that he`s proven himself at that level with the potential to grow. he just needs to keep his mouth shut and be patient. and earn his place because he`s starting over again now he`s stepped up atleast 2 levels in competition. e.g England,Germany,Spain level 1, France,Portugal,Italy level 2 and so on.. all this is of course if those translated comments was accurate..
  7. that is why i said after we signed him that the Rolls Royce of football has just had a new gearbox and steering wheel fitted yesterday..the gearbox being how he controls the tempo and the steering wheel being how he takes control of the direction of the attacks. glad you picked up on that part of his game too.
  8. he was decent in the 1st half..until he had to attempt to defend in the 2nd..let`s not repeat history and help Man U out of a hole like we did by taking Veron off their hands.
  9. wtf 3-2. fair play to Egypt most teams would have just quit after 35 minutes.
  10. same here. Moz is like Mick Jagger without the stones. yeah.you are missing a treat..still we got about 12 years of the great man to look forward too.. :blue scalf:
  11. ah good to know.cheers. i`ll watch the highlights after. like the Avatar too..Smiths my favorite Northern band of all time.
  12. i believe that too.aslong as playing at home isn`t too much for them, though i don`t think it will be. all they are lacking is a great keeper really but they`ve won most of their world cups without one if not all.
  13. is anyone watching how Danny and Ryan are doing for GB? i intended to flick between the two but i can`t stop ejaculating over Oscar. is it wrong for a 36 year old guy to have such a man crush on a Brazilian boy?
  14. Egypt aint playing that bad but they are out of it before half time. that`s how good Brazil are playing all over the park and and Oscar playing great. is quite rare for a player with his flair to be such a team player at his tender age.he plays like a veteran.
  15. i downloaded google chrome when it first came out but although i can`t remember exactly what it done to my computer i remember i had to take it off because it done something bad. lol anyway i would have used that if i used Google Chrome.
  16. @Seb.the quote button didn`t work on this post so i`ve had to do it like this. the point i was trying to make about josh- these belgian kids have been big fish in a little pond. i believe that if Josh and a few of our other youngsters were playing in the belgium league then i believe that they would be as hyped if not more than some of these belgian youngsters are but Josh has never been in a little pond,he`s always been the little fish trying to make it in the sea. Hazard is different as he`s proven himself in a bigger league. to me he is legit. Courtais has also done this now but KDB hasn`t yet and the way he responded to training with the youth team. which thinking about it is kinda strange because i didn`t realise the youth team were out in the states with the seniors like KDB is. i think he needs to earn his place and be willing to play wherever RDM wants to play. he hasn`t proven himself yet. i agree these belgian kids show potential but it`s just that until he/they prove otherwise. he needs to do this in training,in the chances he`s given no matter how small.be happy to just be in the squad to begin with. but training with the yougsters just twice then making demands..i wouldn`t accept that off far more proven players than KDB.
  17. no but i wouldn`t attempt to say it without my teeth in..
  18. think we should loan Josh McEachran to a belgium side then once he tears up that league some of these belgium kids maybe will understand their current place in the squad . maybe there is a little lost in translation but he doesn`t come across as having a good attitude in the translated version of that article.there`s a big gap between being good in the English Prem and the Belgium league. he hasn`t impressed enough this pre-season. needs a loan to bridge the gap and get a grip on reality. sorry if any of that offends our Belgian members but it`s what is good for Chelsea Football Club that matters to me not the Belgium national team.
  19. i can almost hear Platini`s heart break from over the channel.. you were a great player Platini but you are out of your depth..go back to coaching.
  20. @ steve my team - hammersmith hatchets- i have the same username i use on here to save confusion.
  21. he`ll play CM but if you have to do the line up he will play in the slot next to/near Mikel like Lampard does.he is a very fluid player who will not have a definate position. he reads the game so well he will move into whatever is the best position to be in at any given moment. his defensive duties will mainly be to intercept passes from the opposition and clogging up passing lanes. he isn`t afraid to tackle but don`t expect bison mark II! he won't be charging into 50/50 balls unless he has to. but great defensive work aint about just tackling. it`s possible to be the best defensive player on the pitch without making one single tackle.
  22. it`s like hong kong in my house at the moment and somebody said the P word..talk about perfect storm.. i do stand wholeheartedly by every word i said tho..or typed. *by hong kong i mean humidity wise ..just incase anyone gets that comment twisted*
  23. he left because he could see Arsenal lacked Chelsea`s and his ambition as the amount of medals he has now compared to the entire staff of Arsenal FC since he left proves. money helps but we aren`t the only club who would have increased his salary from what that extremely rich but cheap club in north london was paying him. glad he`s ripping into Piers Morgan .that man is a slimey turd who would have faced the firing squad in the good ol` days for his behaviour whilst editor of the daily mirror. having photoshopped fake pictures of british troops abusing civilians in iraq. as a former soldier myself the only good thing about him trying to make it in the states now is he might stumble into another "mark chapman". his creepy prying into peoples business and continue to press the buttons about personal stuff with no mercy. hope he tries to become a citizen of the u.s.a so we can wash our hands of the cunt.
  24. The Rolls Royce of football has just had a brand new gear box and steering wheel fitted. happy days
