It's looking like we going back to the back 3 with Cucu/Hato/James being used as the inverted FB at different times.so could see smaller CB's being used in that and being fine in open play.on corners and free kicks though we looking at a couple of defenders,our keeper,Palmer and Pedro/Delap being our only tall players so it's not ideal.we do kinda miss having height in other positions like we used to have.

Think it's time to pull the trigger on Simons.might force our hand abit with accepting lower fees than we'd like for outgoings after we've signed him,but for many of those it's clear we not getting those desired fees.we save money on some signings we lose some on sold players.we still should be able to comply with Uefa whilst improving.just by selling those that have already probably played their last game for us already. The whole story may never come out but my theory on Veiga and Maresca is with established pros like Caicedo,Neto,Palmer,Cucurella etc..taking on roles that aren't their personal favourites without a fuss.maybe Veiga didn't react in a positive way to doing the same. He was having a good start to his career here,Maresca was praising him,he was getting plenty of minutes.then suddenly it's over.
