Injury history is a concern but without it he would have been out of our range,pretty much all the big clubs in Prem been interested in him this window. As for what side he would play on i'm thinking LW. With Enzo wanting to go heavy on cutbacks, players out wide using their inside foot isnt so desired. Plus as mentioned Neto is good with both feet.

He looks good in the air,otherwise his "highlights" don't look so good.Jackson looked alot better in his spanish highlights. The so called expert opinion of Athletico fans should be balanced with the fact he was signed last august,loaned out 5 days later and never played a game for them. Hope as always he turns out good but so far only thing i'm somewhat happy about is we paying half the price they were reportedly asking for before.

That is something i found odd and expressed that at the time but only one example of a player already destined to go on loan that is going on the tour. Maybe because he's going to our sister club it's easier to do,where as others that we intend to loan out to other clubs it's better to keep them back.

For this season i'm totally comfortable if we only add a top GK and quality CF. We have so many options for out wide and in the 10 when we use it with also Kendry and Estevao on their way. Signing Nico or Olise would have been upgrades for this season but maybe not in the long run to what is already on our books.

If we just signing one more 1st teamer for this season tho then i'd still go for one of the top keepers over any others.

Think David will go for more than £20m eventually but ongoing mystery why we and others haven't started bidding yet. Of course every transfer is a risk but we spend that kind of amount on players with so little pro experience and production. My theory is we looking at just 1 more target for the front 3 (atleast for our senior squad this season) and are weighing up options at both LW/LF and CF. I'd personally go for David but who knows what way they gonna go.maybe depends on where Maresca sees Nkunku playing..

Could be that Maresca wants to assess him at the other positions he appears to be able to play. Presumably after assessing if his birth certificate is legit.

Afcon puts me off abit.more specifically the fact teams lose players for a month or more during the season.but should scout globally rather than just 3 south american countries.

Not buying it. He might linger as this seasons Bettineli because he too is classed as homegrown but otherwise i don't see him lasting through pre-season. Nothing to be gained from putting out that players have no future,think if we get someone like Marmadashvili,either him or Kepa in the package will be something we'll attempt.

Welcome aboard KDH.nice signing at good value for us. Like this window so far.2 or 3 more first team additions then we should be done with the additions. My favourite 3 now out of ones we have been linked with would be Mamardashvili,Calafiori and David.
