Kudus would fill the role of what I think we looking for,a utility forward.for the front 3-4. Poch appears to rate broja highly enough that he doesn't want to risk buying someone that will effectively push him towards an exit.but we need someone who can cover him or Jackson when they are unavailable whilst being able to cover and potentially start at other positions,Kudus ticks all those boxes (as did Brennan Johnson) and to a lesser extent Barcola. Cherki has some Zola in him,his ceiling is higher than Kudus..doubts remain in his work ethic,ability or willingness to press etc.. But we could with our signings this season let our front players have more freedom to focus on being creative.so what if defenders have more time on the ball when they are 90-70 yards from goal when their midfield is being smothered. When teams "park the bus" against us Cherki type is what we need to get through it.

Sanchez,Gusto,Silva,Colwill,Chilwell,Enzo,Caicedo,Santos,Sterling,Jackson,Maatsen or Noni would be my team in a 4-3-3 formation. Although Sterling been good at RW tempted to switch him to LW where he can be more of a goal threat.if so play Noni at RW,if not Maatsen on LW.Save the more drastic changes for Wimbledon.need to get that first W in the bag.

Isnt Barcola and Olise rivals for the RW spot in the French U-21's? Olise should switch back to being English really if he wants to stay at Palace..more likely to be capped at senior level under Southgate than France. Palace are ideal club for some players.they have quality fans who are beyond loyal,quite stress free,have a laugh,every game a cup tie,have a pat on the back and a participation certificate for trying regardless of result aslong as stay up,live in London even if it is the more stabby part.. Olise has world class potential but if don't fancy the challenge then he's not gonna make it.

After the major injury he wasnt really starter quality for us in any position but could do a 7/10 job in a few so offered decent positional flexibily to have on the bench as we saw with him in recent years. He can do a starters job elsewhere though for sure.

RLC offered more positional flexibility.Conor only really suits as a spaniel in a 3 man midfield.so wouldnt say he's good to have on the bench.looks like we aiming to play with a midfield 3 and maybe Poch can get the best out of him,wouldnt mind waiting a year before selling him but if Conor indicates he wants to leave to start somewhere else then totally fine with that happening. Feel he'll be sold within next year to 18 months either way.

Hall hardly playing in pre-season i presumed was to look at others who were on the bubble between being sold or kept with Hall himself being sure to be kept. Guess not,being sold for not much more than we have paid for some who have played a few games in minor leagues. it's not that he was sure to start this season.just that at 18 he has shown too much to let go for such a low fee.
