LOL I had a feeling someone would unearth this thread. Apparently he was very good today, got some assists and would've had another goal (had Kalou not touched it last). He'll have to perform consistently to prove he's still capable though.

Yeah, Carlo's delivered on his "only if they deserve it policy" . The fact he hasn't brought on Drogba and Malouda at all shows something, however does Carlo have the balls to do it in the Premier League? That's the true question.

Yeah, I think the excitement derives more from not being able to produce this kind of performance in the last 2 months. This certainly does not mark the end of our troubles, but it does help. Also gives something to Carlo to think about.. Bench Drogba/Flo more often?
