  1. Now we're out the race, we might nick a win.
  2. I actually think Carlo can turn the club into a dominant force next season. If he's given the funds and a say in the transfer dealings.. His tactics work, when he's got the right players, and spare players. There is a reason we were dominating this early season, Carlo was doing something right. The problem is, even when things were down, he kept doing them. It's wrong of him, but if we get in new players I think he can make those tactics work again. I agree, Drogba should not be here next season, nor should Anelka. Terry can have a career like Maldini, he's playing his heart out these days and it does help. We're being let down upfront not at the back.
  3. Agreed about him being over-played, most definitely. To be honest that also brings me to the point of why he's still being played, I said it when the malaria was in him, and I'm still saying it. For this, Carlo is to blame. We had strikers to fill the void. About the Maldini thing, he did ask him, when he came. However Maldini rejected at the time, saying he wanted to get out of football for a while. Who knows if he's changed his mind.
  4. Everything underlined I agree with. Squad was thin coming in, I don't know who thought we'd have an injury free season, but they clearly don't know how it all works. No-one's saying Carlo's blameless. But he's at fault less than the person who organises transfers.
  5. You're a legend for saying this. I still think we should stick with beyond the summer with Carlo, if he gets his transfers! If not then he might as well resign.
  6. Haha exactly. Though imagine if we'd had them both, but there's no point to this imagination. With each loss, comes a higher chance of more signing I think.
  7. Carrick was a good player. He's been ruined by sitting on the bench for so long.
  8. Of course, the problem is though, the transfer market is so heavily inflated that players like Aguero (worth no more than £25million) instantly double in price (almost).
  9. Yeah. Standard. Ranieri was hated by fans, I remember.. But he was a great coach, in my opinion, and it's showing now to be honest. Highlighted the "coach" part because he really made Terry into who he is today, and probably with Frank too.
  10. I'd disagree about Drogba if I'm totally honest. He's invisible for most the game, though when he is noticeable he plays like mad. All the rest I agree, even Ashley, who's come under scrutiny. He doesn't get forward as much anymore, granted, but defensively he's giving it his all. A handful of us did notice Carlo's failures too, but back then it was less obvious and we though he'd turn it around. 2 months on everyone is waking up. But still, the answer is not, sack Carlo. At least not now..
  11. Roman should've known Carlo's youth policy is wack. At Milan his only great youth story was Pato, and he was only promoted because he really is exceptional. Roman should therefore, have known, Carlo would need to buy the players he wanted to play.
  12. Agreed, he's accountable. But it's no excuse for the players to stop trying. I'm sick of Drogba thinking, he can do fuck all for 80minutes, then try to nick a goal to make it okay.. He saw today it didn't work. I wonder if Terry got in his ear this time.. (Probably not)
  13. I agree, but perhaps he feels don't have the right players to change the formation. He's experiments with 4-2-4 now, which is still getting us nowhere. I remember his first few months last season playing the diamond formation, that was working as well, so he switched to 4-3-3, that worked, and he's never looked back. Mid games he's tried switching 4-4-2, 4-5-1 and more recently, 4-2-4. None are working as planned.
  14. Because to be honest, it could be just as bad. Until we buy some new, experienced, talented players, Carlo will pick the same squad. Kakuta and Sturridge must get more time - agreed. But you can't expect them to be thrown to the dogs.
  15. That's not the answer. They're too young & inexperienced to expect them to turn our season around, why don't people understand this?
  16. Who else can he pick? Remember the part where the board decided we didn't need any players?
  17. Ramires too. Until he decided "fuck it"
  18. Sacking him is NOT the fucking answer. Call yourself fans? Then look at the players, not fans. Look I even put it in blue so it's more noticeable
  19. Really? For me, it's less stress on the title race
