  1. Haha exactly. If we take an early lead and dominate the whole first half Liverpool will panic (as usual) and that will be our window to finish them off in the 2nd half
  2. I really don't think form will be a big issue in this game.. Chelsea vs Liverpool is always a big game, I think it brings out the best in both sides. We'll see Drogba and Torres come to life, something neither have done this season, we'll see a very tight game in my opinion. But I think we'll win this 3-1, but by no means will it be an easy game
  3. So does that mean we're set to lose another youth prospect?
  4. Beautiful strike from Kane!! We seem to have a few defender who have a good shot on them don't we?
  5. I found myself saying similar things about Essien & Bosingwa, but they have. So let's hold our hope
  6. AGREED!!! Oh my God, Drogba has a power of an elephant and has a great header on him. It makes no sense to have him take corners and free kicks when he should be in the box attacking them (even with "Two Goal" Ivanovic & Terry ). Zhirkov/Malouda are more than capable of delivering a killer ball.
  7. Not at all, in fact I agree with your points there. A loan deal for Cudicini would be great, but for some reason Carlo (Ancelotti) trusts Turnbull & Hilarious :\
  8. If we really wanted to get Cudicini I think we could, I don't think he'd have a problem coming back to Chelsea. But I think we shouldn't, he's a good keeper and I want him to go somewhere where he'd get more first team football. The only way I see him coming back to Chelsea is as a goal keeping coach
  9. I don't blame people voting Nasri to be honest, he's having a great season with Arsenal, he's really hit his form. Especially with Fabregas out most the time, he's stepped up. I wouldn't complain if he won this month.
  10. Are you kidding me? Bale has a lethal pass, he can pick anyone out and deliver a great cross. His dribbling ability is outstanding & he can finish them like some of the best! I know this thread isn't about Bale, but seriously, he's not Theo Walcott
  11. Agree with that so an extent. But this is just another typical anti-chelsea article.. "Roman Abramovich bank rolls Chelsea" "Chelsea can't survive without Roman" "Chelsea have no youth product" Here's the facts: Yes, Tottenham are doing well. Bale has been an amazing findBut, Chelsea are already through to the next round of the Champions LeagueWe sit 5pts clear at the top of the tableOur youth products are emerging and gradually being integrated into the squadTottenham have spent more than Chelsea, ManUtd & Arsenal in the last 4 yearsChelsea have not been this quiet in transfer markets since before Scolari back in '08
  12. We've got a lot of games this month. 7 to be precise, we've got 1 of thos over with, 3 at Home & 3 Away. This will be a very important month for us in the title race. Now that's we've secured qualification, all seniors will play Premier League games and reserves will mostly make up the Champions League squad. It'll be a real test for fitness for some of our older players
  13. If fate is feeling a bit generous.. Cech Bosingwa - Ivanovic - Terry© - Cole Essien - Mikel - Lampard Anelka - Drogba - Malouda
  14. Ah ITV are talking about a rant I was about to go on. Our set pieces (esp corners) have been bloody rubbish!
  15. The Spartak fans are putting ours to shame. Where's that Stamford Bridge atmosphere we have gone?
  16. Cech Ferriera - Ivanovic - Alex - Cole Ramires - Mikel - Zhirkov Kalou - Drogba - Anelka
  17. NO!! Fiorentina's keeper Frey is out for 5months with a cruciate ligament injury. Now he joins Jovetic who's out for 6 months. Damnit!
  18. Free kick specialist? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-cspV7ywAs&hd=1 Say no more.
  19. Something in the Daily Mail about us leading the chase for Kaká. Just sayin'
  20. :goodpost: Scolari was one of those who had the mindset "It's my way, or no way." Ancelotti & Mourinho both adapted their tactics to bring the best out of Chelsea. We all remember how Carlo tried the diamond formation & once he realised we play better in the 4-3-3 formation he was more than happy to change. He put his ego aside. Something I think Scolari couldn't and that's why those "top players" he mentioned weren't with him.
