  1. Thanks Alex! Missed the game totally today, good to know we can always rely on an accurate, detailed, concise match report Look forward to watching it later :cfc:
  2. Don't we have like 5 or 6 of these threads now? I think tweaking. Young, experienced, players would be nice, to mix with the older players. We shouldn't be like Arsenal and throw a whole load of young players in, we should be liked Dalglish's (Clarke's) Liverpool.. Mix the young with old.
  3. Ignorance is bliss. Forgive me for my misunderstanding, but this thread is Pro-Carlo fans attacking Non-Carlo fans. Ridiculous. Shane, you've made a very good point here, however I agree with BLionheart.. Because everyone wants "stability", but only if the right coach is there. We're not annoyed about lack of trophies and all, we're annoyed because there seems be a flaw in the coach which we feel is not positive for the team. It's not because he's failed to deliver, it's his actual management skills. BLionheart has demonstrated these points well.. This is a very key point linking back to BLH's post. If you do support Carlo, please use valid points, don't attack fans who don't think he's the right man, it's quite immature & petty. (this is aimed generally) So please, please, pretty please, let's not make this about "I'm a better fan than you" let's have a debate about Carlo Ancelotti's actual management
  4. My mate is in the England u17's set up. One day he will be a superstar (& one day I will be his agent )
  5. Completely missed the match Steve, any links up yet for the full game?
  6. Yeah that's true, but on the other side of that coin, maybe he'd see it as a welcomed challenge?
  7. Not the first time I've heard this rumour. Apparently NESV has approached him during Hodgson's tenure. Dalglish won't be around forever, I believe he himself is a fan of AVB, so you never know..
  8. He said youth won't be involved so the standard.. Cech Ivanovic - Luiz - Terry - Cole Benayoun - Essien - Lampard - Malouda Drogba - Anelka ...I expect
  9. He said there's a slight injury concern, should be back by Birmingham game
  10. Carlo accepts his job will be reviewed at the end of the seasonRoman & Carlo spoke after the United game, season objectives changed.Carlo seems humble about his job being under threat, sounds very calm & understanding. Very professional man.No Alex & Ramires tomorrowUnsure over Torres-start, will judge today.Carlo referring to Rooney's bad time last year, in relation to Torres. He believes it is the same for Torres, he will come good soon enough."Torres is the future of Chelsea""Until now, the relationship with the owner is fantastic, because he supported me this season when we didn't have good results""Now is strong moment for us" to give players with experience games, not youth. In other words, nothing will change. There journos are really attacking Carlo about his future right now this conference is about tomorrow's match, not his future!!
  11. Alex & Ramires ruled out for tomorrow.
  12. In the words of a former icon.. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT..... JOHN TERRY THINKS!
  13. Next press conference scheduled for today at 11am live on Chelsea TV Online.
  14. Long live the forever singing MH Stand! We will come back when we're a bit richer
  15. Similar to the United V design they have.
  16. I doubt it. Sturridge loves to score, he's a pure striker, could be argued he's selfish in that aspect. But one-on-one he's deadly, so forget putting him on the wing.
  17. I was wondering about that too. Scholes kind of does it when he's called up for at Man United. Yeah fully agree. Just depends on how the coaching team are directing him, in terms of development. I also don't think he's being made into a Pirlo, I just think he's playing there because he's less likely to get injured there and he's supported by Terry right behind him, Lampard straight a head an Essien to make sure nobody f*cks with Josh!
  18. Exactly! Priority should be the squad! Then think about which manager should be chosen to lead them. Who knows, Ancelotti could excel with the players he'd require.
  19. Has anyone had to do a sponsor activity that wasn't just clicking the sponsor name? They say there's a quiz in some activities sometimes, has anyone ever come across this?
  20. 4-3-2-1 is a great formation for Lampard to fit in if we had other personnel to support him.. Cech Ivanovic - Luiz - Terry - Cole Ramires - Mikel - Lampard Vacant - Benayoun Torres Vacant obviously referring to the void that requires filling in the squad. Maybe if we'd have signed Gerrard in 2005 it could've been him playing there now. But there's plenty of talent to play behind strikers, Benayoun already who's on our books. Kakuta can come in eventually and fill that role too, when he's ready. Eventually C.Clifford & McEachran can fill Lampard & Ramires's positions in the squad (by then we'd probably have a new system).
