He & Essien combined very well, which then poses a problem for Carlo. If it's 4-3-3 it's not like he can take out Lampard, so Ramires loses out & if it is 4-4-2 we lose the width Ramires provides on the right. Cech Ivanovic - Luiz - Terry - Cole Mikel - Essien Ramires - Lampard - Malouda Torres/Drogba , but it does accommodate that combination of Mikel-Essien which allows a good balance between defence and attack. I'd love to see Carlo experiment with this. This is ideal. Maybe not on the Drogba/Torres front
I can agree with that, especially the last part. I'd be delighted to see Roman's giving Carlo a chance, and it'd be a massive middle finger up to the media who have made his sacking official by their papers!
Good chronological post Ollie. Thing is though that period when Ray was sacked was very strange. I still find it hard to think the departure of one man caused to many problems within the squad in terms of morale, motivation, discipline ect. Things must've gone on behind closed doors that shook the team to the very core. Whether it was a public incident that caused Wilkins' departure or something else, I guess we'll never truly know.
Casillas Ramos - Albiol - Carvalho - Marcelo Khedira - Pepe - Alonso Di Maria - Benzema - Ronaldo v Pedro - Messi - Villa Xavi - Busquets - Iniesta Adriano - Pique - Puyol - Alvez Valdez Very very interesting from Mourinho. He's playing 5 defenders & 1 central defender tonight! Pepe in central midfield
I won't lie eldo, you're right. Us, who think Carlo is not good enough, do get personal too. Hence my over all message at the end of that post. Let's forget all this "spoilt fan" nonsense, this thread is tarnished with little digs like that.
