  1. Yeah me too haha. Just thought I'd add on to what you were saying, because you're right about him playing down the centre.
  2. I think Drogba has a lot more left in him than Lampard. He should move to another club where he'd get to play in virtually every game. But if he wants to stay, fair enough.
  3. Pfft, that's only 99.99% confirmed
  4. Yeah but there will be a problem when he is pushed out to the wings. It's at that position we'll be frustrated by him again. I remember after the Sunderland return game last season, Carlo put him in a role just behind the strikers (Torres & Drogba) and he had a fantastic game being the link from midfield to strikers. But the following game, he lost that sharp instinct and went back to doing what he always does, sitting deep. If he maintains some positional discipline, he will be worth keeping around (till his contract expires that is.)
  5. Not forgetting either, he hasn't playing a game in a long time
  6. I only hope he means with youngsters. Another season of Kalou & Malouda
  7. The links to Kaka. Media has a love-fest going on with us & him.
  8. Thank fuck for that, after Arnesen's raid. This doesn't mean we're not buying anyone too, if anyone's misinterpreting this article Hallelujah, the board has learnt their lesson!
  9. Don't think it's player bashing,, it's fans admitting Lampard isn't what he used to be. They'd be right in saying so too.
  10. To be fair though. It wasn't really the "official" player of the tournament. It was just Dion Dublin's view, who SkySports asked.
  11. Really? I think they're quite alike. They both will start deep, but make good attacking runs. Granted Gerrard's more attacking, but under Kenny, he's become much more conserved, like Jack is. Hope I'm wrong though. McEachran won't be making his way into the squad any time soon though. Might get through in time for Brazil '14, but we'll have to wait.
  12. I don't think so, not in this 4-3-3 Capello's playing. They're too similar. I'd like them to work, but just don't see it being so.
  13. Don't think this would surprise/outrage anyone. Wilshere for Lampard makes sense. Though Gerrard-Wilshere will not work in midfield, trust me on that I don't see how Parker will be ahead of Lampard in the pecking order either.
  14. Yeah, was confirmed on SkySports today.
  15. The Autobiography of Malcolm X What a fantastic read, what a man!
  16. This really sounds like last season..
  17. Yeah definitely! Amazed to see he's kept up his sharp reactions and instincts after missing an entire season, behind Joe Hart. Great buy for Aston Villa! Arsenal must be kicking themselves for missing out. Shame he's 35 though..
  18. And now we can breathe Well done Nando.
  19. By the way, on Pastore's decision to join PSG.. So basically, PSG paid more.
  20. Easy mistake. Agree about Abonglahor, he is. That being said, he's got some potential that needs unlocking. Reminds me of another Carlton Cole though, a view reflected by Villa fans too.
  21. I think we are though, they're just not public. I mean this is the hope I maintain. I could be 100% wrong, in which case, it is worrying. But lately, trusting the club's decisions has gone well (since Villas-Boas was appointed anyway) so I'm holding onto that little bit of hope they'll maintain that run
