I do want him to have another season, for sure. Come on, he's not that bad that he shouldn't be given a second chance, he's not some idiot that was taken off the street and done no research on (United singing Bebé analogy ). He did brilliant with Porto, not just in their league but in the Europa League too, remember he did win that tournament. He's had faults, but what's not to suggest he won't learn from them? I hold a hope of him correcting the flaws of this season, next.

Drog & Lukaku? I don't think that would work, they're too similar. In a front 2 the strikers have to be different to play off each other.

It's a great shame non of our rival-fans will ever appreciate someone like Zola for us. They might appreciate Drogba, certainly not Lampard though.

Not just for stability, but for a chance for him to correct his errors this season. He's young and he's learning, and it could be argued that he wasn't a good appointment because of that, but the fact is what's happened has happened. A certain risk has to be taken with Villas-Boas. The final product of his management style could be sensational next season, or the one after. To use that cliché, Fergie & Wenger did it, there's no reason with AvB cannot. I admit, even I'm disillusioned by this season, but I'm not writing him off in his first season. It would be just like when we were all blinded by Carlo's début season and chanted "King Carlo", ignoring problems that were going unnoticed because of the winnings of that season.

In the beginning of his Chelsea career he demonstrated a lot more attacking potential than Mikel ever will (due to his attacking abilities being dissolved by Mourinho & co.). Now he's a bit more defensive. Who knows why, orders from André or he doesn't have room to get forward.
