  1. Because Dalglish is the media darling and can do no wrong. He's also a 'legend' so Liverpool fans will love him, even if he'd get them relegated.
  2. stop making me more angry with this club Jai!
  3. Exactly. This is total bullsh't, the lack of sight this administration has to recognise the obvious player mutiny. Which should only be responded to by telling them to either put up or shut up. What a stupid preference this board has to the players than managers.
  4. André was smart to negotiate that. I don't know what top-class manager will ever want to come to Chelsea after this..
  5. Exactly. It's the kick up the ass these players need, though let's hope most of these guys won't be here next season.
  6. But we got really lucky. No-one anticipated Tottenham's surprising form, which puts them third, whereas last season they were going head-to-head with City for 4th. Arsenal just about clinched 3rd, because they followed the Arsenal cycle and started flopping from Feb. We were lucky because, yes we were winning some games in a sh'tty fashion, but it does make sense how the players have declined.
  7. Exactly. Look at Liverpool, they went through a total Europe bar. Their fans are now behind them because they see progression and they sense it's only a matter of time because of the investment put into their squad! While we need Europe for our own financial stability, it doesn't mean we can't come back into that competition next season.
  8. LOL look at all you guys jumping on Danny's back after one bad performance. Smh.. He's scored more goals than Drogba & Torres combined. Put a sock in it.
  9. There's no need for this thread, just post it in the AVB Out? thread and stop trying to boost your ego.
  10. Come on Badboy, they were near as bad last season too. They are the problem.
  11. If they won't play for Villas-Boas, why the f'ck would they play for Di Matteo? They won't play for anyone but themselves and we're going to go through at least 5 more managers before this stupid dumbf'ck board realises the problem is with players not the management. F'ck FFP, buy a new squad and build our way back up.
  12. Oh shut up. You're not the only one who was thinking it, get your head out your f'cking ass.
  13. Yeah, but in fairness he's learning to play that wing role still. He's used to being a CF, which is a selfish role within itself. He's improved in his decision making a lot since August, still improving.
  14. Meh. He's more likely to score doing that than we are doing anything else.
  15. Ugh. Every time he criticises the media, they go out and prove justification for that criticism, it's turning into a vicious cycle. They've done it with almost all our players and management.. Ridiculous.
  16. Exactly. A harmless prank becomes another story. Is there really no humour in football any more?
  17. Yeaaah but can't really blame fans for that. Like you said, he's been dogshit this season and we're all very desperate to see the world-class Torres come back to life. It's therefore normal to get excited when we do see an assist or 2, because it just fills us with a tiny bit of confidence in him. It's a rational thing to do.
  18. Or perhaps his hands have been somewhere else
  19. I was positive when André said the club's looking for both a left & right winger. Seems if André is staying, Hulk's very likely.
  20. Definitely. It was incredibly frustrating to see him anywhere but LB, especially because Malouda was more of a CM than Zhirkov. We paid a lot for Yuri and he could've actually been a decent winger for us, didn't see him as an exceptional player, but definitely would've been a better option to Malouda. He was a pure winger, and the lack of one now is costing us quite a bit.
  21. He tried to replace world-class Xabi Alonso with Gareth Barry. Says it all really..
  22. I thought Hulk is quite quick?
