  1. Not trying to take anything away from the shot, or even how he's been this season, but this is a weakness that's becoming increasingly evident in his game. His reactions for the low shots and such are still up there, but it's these kinds of shots were you see such minimal effort to attempt the save and I think this comes down to his poor footwork. It was exposed in the Arsenal game too when he should've got a glove to Van Persie's goal. Yeah, it's more both for me though, because he could've used that height with much more effectiveness if he's been closer to his line. He made some good one-on-one saves this season and even in the game, but these long range shots are ones he's struggling with.
  2. Good news coming through that he's doing better, moving his limbs too! Hope this case now marks an age of more extensive, regular cardio tests for players.
  3. Mong Surely it would make more sense to play on that date, in honour of those who died. It's not like SAF refuses to play on the anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster, afaik.
  4. 'Arry's been in France as of last night apparently.. Where's Emenalo when ya need him?
  5. Distraught Bolton may be forced to withdraw from FA Cup http://www.mirrorfoo...icle880357.html
  6. I think it's a trend in his game though. I've been watching him closely lately and him venturing off his line is becoming increasingly worrying and obvious. I think some teams could quickly figure this out..
  7. I sincerely hope he can build on this. There will be a lot of people expecting him to flop next time, I really hope he is finding form because as KieranVogel pointed out, he will be vital!
  8. Was anyone else furious with Cech conceding that second goal? Once again he was caught off his line! This seems to be a major problem with Cech, even v. Birmingham or West Brom he was almost done by a chip because he was caught off his line. Not taking anything away from the strike, but him wondering off his line is a common trait and it's starting to be exposed.
  9. Carzolaaaaaaa! Always thought he deserved a move to a big time club, was slightly disappointed he chose Malaga.
  10. Like Sam (I think) said, wait till we draw 2 games in a row and everyone will call for his head. I do like Robbie, think he's a great person who has a great deal of affection for the club, but I don't see him lasting next season. He'll be at the end of his contract too so I don't think a. We'll offer him one or b. He'll accept an assistant's role.
  11. Classy from Madrid, very classy.
  12. You're right. He shouldn't take all the blame, André is culpable for some things.. But it is he who should have another chance. Not this 33-year old who's made his feelings and hostility clear in hampering the plan Villas-Boas had.
  13. It wasn't bro, I was speaking generally Everyone does have a soft spot for Lampard, even us who feel he's been disrespectful (trying to keep my words tight here) through this entire season. But it's plain to see his attitude was dire, his interview is insightful and pretty much speaks what we've all been thinking. Now we're to winning ways people are quick to forget about his antics, but damage is done. It cannot be undone. I'm still grateful for his 500+ appearances, numerous goals & assists and general contributions in the last many seasons he's been here. But the stuff he's done this season? That deserves the Roy Keane treatment. Out the club.
  14. The medics reacted wonderfully. Knew straight away what was going on, like ESPN said 'if he pulls through, it will be solely down to the quick work of the medical team'
  15. "Guus Hiddink has revealed that he will evaluate his situation with Anzhi Makhachkala in June, when there is a possibility his contract could be brought to an end." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7606593/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  16. It makes me sick when fans judge other fans for 'turning on' Lampard. I know he's a legend and all that, but it's plain to see his attitude was pathetic and a factor in André's dismissal. Look at it without blue-tinted eyes please.
  17. And then the penny drops. I had this reaction after he did it, would've done the same thing 100% and I would expect any England player to as well.
  18. Asenjo's had a lot of problems with injury, I don't think you can make a club play a loan player like, I'd be very surprised if any club even agreed to such a clause.
  19. Can we not upload a video of when it happened? People don't need to see that.
  20. But what's the alternative? Where then do they play? The reserve/youth system is a joke as it is, at the moment.
