Err hang on a minute. Fergie does the same thing with contract 'rebels', Pogba and Morrison this year alone suffered that. It's the right approach afaic, because he only wants to train those players who are committed to André's long term-plan. Kalou made it clear he was evaluating signing because he was frustrated at lack of game time, which means he wasn't fully focused in training etc.

Regarding Proposal 2: I think creating a sub-section for wishlist will increase the likelihood of same topics being opened in both sections because a un-credible source would suggest a rumour. I prefer if you did a pre-fix that said 'Wishlist' & 'Rumoured' (Can't think of another word at the moment). This will allow the best of both, and mods can assess whether the source reporting anything is credible enough to warrant a change in status. It would be easier on Mods I feel.

Overhauls can't happen as we like to envision and fantasise over. Despite potentially not being in Europe we still need to keep an eye on FFP, so we should definitely give up on those big names in our eyes. At best we'll sign 2 "marquee" players and the rest would come over coming seasons, we don't have the money to spend on a major overhaul.. Which is why I urge people not to be surprised if some of the old guard remains past August.
