  1. 15 minutes would have been very harsh, 12 was just a joke.
  2. Could be a really serious one. VAR not even reviewing this?
  3. Can't help but think a new manager would get this team winning immediately and we'd go on an amazing end of season run
  4. Lavia looks good tho eh? Would love to see him join us.
  5. There is no way Theo Walcott is still a professional footballer. Wow. Thought he must have retired ages ago.
  6. Forgot Mount started. Where was he in the first half?
  7. Kinda want Boehly to do a Vince McMahon style walk down the tunnel losing his absolute shit screaming at everybody
  8. While I like Potter more than most, I still think you have to get fired eventually if results aren't good enough. Accountability is a fundamental part of the job.
  9. Mount for some reason restored to the lineup, bizarre. Some bold moves in the lineup.
  10. I don't think we can say he has played better than Havertz, he has mostly done nothing for us and been invisible tbh. However, I do think Auba could become dangerous with Felix/Enzo behind him. I hope we finally see DDF start tbh.
  11. My general feeling is that Chelsea for several years now has been the "big team" that other sides turn their form around against, getting that crazy win that starts something for them. I go into this game with low expectations.
  12. Oh god, that is so sad, hopefully something is arranged at SB today for him
  13. I don't think we have any choice though, given the money we've spent and the way FFP works. Is there another way out? We have to create FFP profits and HG players is the only way to get it in the supply we need no?
  14. Absolutely thrilled to see Mount dropped twice in a row. Was minorly worried it was some kind of "save him for the big game" shit at the weekend. This 100% makes it clear he is now considered a squad player due to bad form.
  15. He was scared to play forward as if Mudryk loses it trying to win he would have to defend and he can’t defend. Not fit to wear the shirt, end of
  16. Depressingly this is true, the reason Alonso was here for so long was that he did actually have some really strong characteristics to make up for his 6/10 attributes, Cucu is <= 6/10 at everything. I do wonder who asked for this guy and why we paid so much. Did Tuchel want him / rate him and not like Chilly?
  17. The problem with firing him is who the hell will the owners replace him with? They obviously have a model they're applying here for appointments, and the Potter decision was probably actually thought through quite a lot based on data and his personality. Maybe this mindless drone strategy is intentional and if we ever cut him the next person will be someone just as uninspiring? It certainly feels like they want a 'yes' man and Potter is probably that. Would the top, elite managers be that? No, definitely not.
  18. The thing about Brighton is that we are sort of aware now that it was fantastic recruitment that was the secret of their success - they genuinely found a lot of gems, and had players in the form of their careers like Cucu - but it is obvious that this is not down to Potter as he has not been able to get Cucu to play well even once.
  19. If FFP permits we should sell him in summer, probably can still get £20m for him, although wages may be tricky. Honestly would rather still have Emerson, who at least was a hard worker and willing runner.
  20. That is the thing that is killing us all the most. Where did Chelsea's winning mentality go? Where did the "it is not acceptable, we have to win" go? GP simply does not seem phased by results, if we were relegated he would be saying "its a learning experience and we'll definitely be better next year, we've got some young inexperience lads here and it will take time to work." He is supposedly trained in "communication" but honestly he looks pretty shocking at it to me.
  21. I am at a point in life where I would love and find it fucking hilarious if we had another go under Mou. It would be at least fucking hilarious, unlike this Potter mess.
  22. Mudryk was let down by his team mates but they looked hesitant to pass to him - maybe he is considered a liability by them w/ some of the loosey goosey short passes he plays? But he was often in acres of space crying for a cross field ball, but the team just never played it to him.
  23. I wouldn't go that far - he is obviously a manager that belongs in the top leagues around the world. He is just not someone you hire to win trophies with or you can see building a dynasty. He is a bit of a pussy, imo.
  24. Surely if he is going it is now, immediately after the game. Before I was thinking there was no point to sack him until closer to summer and let a new manager come in with a full preseason and get transfer business done early, but we've improved the squad a lot and having a good manager to work with them for the rest of the year would make a lot of sense as it can inform our summer business and will give them way more time to get the team in shape
