we need to make clear that we can't buy a world class play to fight for a spot with chilwell. we need a upgrade to alonso but its impossible to buy a better player than chilwell 

I don’t even just mean playing Havertz up top so he can score more. It’s just that we look way better and more dangerous without a traditional forward.
I would MUCH rather see Havertz as the striker with Pulisic, Werner, or Ziyech alongside him and Mount just behind him.

I would try with Marcelo from Real . 

LOL. Poor comparison. Mount is far from the finished article but has already probably bettered Wilshere's stats for goals and assists at the age of 22 than Wilshere has done his whole career.

Really is absurd there is talk of league postponement and lockdown when the main symptom of the omicron variant to those unvaccinated is a runny nose. 

I sense another midseason shutdown incoming.

I admitted that I wanted chillwell when we was linked with him under Lampard. 
Now that we have him he has done good, but I have never really warm up to him. 
With his injury if we can buy someone else that is upgrade and sell Alonso then we will be set. Chillwell and another one that is better then both will leave us with a good position. 
If only we didn't screw it up with getting lukaku. Sigh. 

Did some light fitness work, could be back mid January. Excellent news!
