Personally, I do not think he is either. It is more that if he has a €30m buyout I can see the club doing it. I just cannot see us signing a Lukaku/Håland/Kane this Summer. Maybe we will get Kun but I can see us signing Silva as he is cheap if the buyout is true (not sure if it is?)
-
I see us signing Silva if that buy out of his is actually there. That will then allow us to prioritise LCB and CM.
-
Liverpool 🤣. As if FSG are laying that sort of money out in Covid times.

First time I have watched the highlights to this as I was at the game. Absolute worst experience as a Chelsea fan, absolutely robbed. Only reason I give the benefit of the doubt to the ref being incompetent rather than corrupt is the Abidal sending off as Ankela clipped himself. When watching this, I also get sad about the player we lost in Essien due to his knee injuries. He should really having been still playing for us until 2017 if it wasn't for those ACL's. Yeah, I have the exact same feeling. Where is this cnut from? As for my team prediction, here it is: Mendy AC Silva Rudi Dave Jorgi Kante Chilwell Mount Puli Harvetz There is a chance James comes in for AC but I see TT being conservative as we win by keeping a clean sheet. I see Kova coming on rather than starting for the same reason.

Yeah, we would have to sell both CHO and Ziyech for it to work.
-
Probably at least 24 months of good loans away from playing for us. I was hopeful when signing him, however the kind of injury he got can absolutely ruin a young player.
-
Everything in his career indicates that was a purple patch.

Just looking at Serie A. Milan are actually in real danger of missing out on the CL. If that happens, I can see them struggling to pay Tomori's release clause. If that happens wouldn't be surprised to see him back and Zouma sold.
-
I really wouldn't worry, he is getting to the age we do not spend big money on. I'd be amazed if we signed either him or Kane. Players like Håland (although he is almost impossible), Silva, Kun and maybe even Ings are more likely imo.

I am not disagreeing with any of the pros of Kane. I am just pointing out it is never going to happen as his profile is one that we aren't going to stump up for. If he where £50-£60m then for sure I could see us doing it, but £100m+? No way, not going to happen, it would be completely contrary to everything the club has done in the transfer market post Torres (some could even argue, post Sheva.) Furthermore, Kane has a dodgy ankle, that isn't going to get any better so where you may expect another 4-5 years out of such a player, his could be a lot less. Personally, I am so confident we will not sign Harry Kane (unless we can get him for a fee under £60m) that I will give you £10 via PayPal if we sign him for one above that. Feel free to flag this comment.

Yeah, I wasn't really complaining, more just making a statement of fact.
-
That second half was so boring it put me to sleep.
-
Yeah, but none of those were at top market rates. All of those players were had for reasonable fees that you can swallow over 3-5 years. Kane at £100m+ isn't.
-
When was the last time we paid market leading rates for a player over 28 by the time the next season roles around? Sheva?
-
Not sure about this line up. Would've liked to have seen Silva and Chilwell rested whilst I am not certain about having Billy partnered by Mount. If anything, Mount could do with a rest more than Jorgi/Kante.

I think it is just the media trolling Spuds fans. It is pretty much open season on them at the moment. I read the Telegraph yesterday and even there reporters were trolling the Spuds.
-
I read yesterday that Silva has a €30m buy out. Is that true? If so, I see Granny activating that. She loves a buy out does our Granny.
-
Who is paying £30m for RLC and £15m for Barkley when they also have to give them £100k-£150k a week wages? Those two are heading for Baka/Batsh*t territory.
-
Is this true? If so, this has us written all over it. Granny likes nothing more than activating a buy out.
-
I really cannot see Lukaku back here. Doesn't fit in with TT's style of play at all.
-
Well Turkey is going into full lockdown again this week. Personally, I cannot see it happening in Istanbul this year whether it is an all English final or not.
-
Sancho is overpriced that is the problem. I have said it for a while, but as a 21 year old he is much better off staying at Dortmund for another two years playing week in, week out and then leave on a free and pick up a massive signing on bonus and huge wage elsewhere as he will only be 23 when his contract expires.
-
Because he is on £100k a week and he really isn't that good. A odd goal isn't going to change that.
-
The problem I think will happen with those two players is that a) they'll want to be somewhere they will start, b) if we do get what everyone wants; a CF, CM and LCB, they'll start even less and c) to fund b, you've got to sell them as the others on the list are deadwood (read; no one else is going to pay a fee/their wages) or they're hard sells and need particular types of teams that want them (Jorgi/Ziyech.)
