Wow, €30m a year for 29 year old Neymar. Happy we're not doing that sh*t.

No way should Zouma being playing against their press. That is a recipe for disaster as he takes too long on the ball and their front three will be all over him. Alonso is also a no go, I am one of his biggest supporters, but you do not play him against pace/teams that will have a lot of possession as they will target him. I would go with: Mendy Dave AC Rudi James Jorgi Kante Chilwell Mount Puli Harvetz The front three is a bit difficult to predict. Mount really needs a rest, but can you risk losing his off the ball work against City's back line? Ziyech or Werner may come in for him.

I would agree, take the points, then screw them over in the final.

I did only say it was a theory and I agree with your point on too many players. Personally, Ziyech going would not surprise me either. As for reports Sky Sports are saying 4 clubs are in for Sancho. One is most certainly Utd then I imagine the other two are Barca and Real, who just get touted regardless of how much money they actually have. Who is other is, is guess work. My money would be on another English club. As for Håland I think that is not a goer this Summer, even if Dortmund fail to qualify for the CL.

I have a theory that both him and Tammy have moves lined up and they are being parked to protect their value. Things are strangely heating up in the rumour mill about us wanting Sancho (I find this odd as AM is behind: CF, CM, LCB, GK2) in our list of needs. However, one thing that could make sense is CHO + fee = Sancho. That way, Dortmund continue to build their reputation as a place for young boys and we get another highly touted young player.

So underrated. One of my favourite Dave qualities that no one really speaks about is how good he is at the dark arts. Played even Ramos silly last night.

As great as it is to get there, we really need to concentrate on the next game. A draw will do but a loss will make things very dicey for us.

Yeah, it was shambolic. However, it also proves you need to be a crack head to want to move away from 3atb. The problem is a goalscorer and not the system. The system is by far and away the best fit for us. This is the last time I am going to say it so not to keep repeating myself. Around two weeks ago, the high end hotels prices for the 28th May went through the roof when compared to a non-event day at Wembley. Very suspicious if you ask me.......

Brilliant

Would've played Puli rather than Werner. I am going to disappear now as I am likely to spout nonsense as the game is in play. However, all I ask of TT is that if it is 1-1 in the 119th minute. Then he only has one job to do, and that is to pull out Big Willy.

True. I think it is mainly to do with Amapdu being British/Welsh, rather than Denmark.
-
I feel the same. I am just wondering how we are going to get fecked. Will it be a VAR/Ref special or will one of our own do something ridiculous?

A goal for us shouldn't change Madrid's approach. They have got to score at least once regardless, us scoring does not change that. The only difference is a goal for us means if they get their goal then it is on to extra time (which heavily favours the away side anyway.) Us scoring first pretty much means nothing. One of the best examples of this was when we played Le Arse in 2004. It was 1-1 in the first leg and then they scored first in the second leg. However, when they did it didn't change anything, we still had to score and we just kept to the game plan we were working with. The real changer in that tie was Bridge's goal, which was the second away goal, which mean they had to score 2. The only way a first goal means anything to the tie tonight is if Real go 1 up, as at that point it gives us the lifeline of extra time. Best way of looking at it at the moment is that with it currently being 1-1 after the away leg, the score is really 1.5 v 1 for us. A goal for us makes it 2-1, so it really is negligible.
-
Yeah, but that is similar to Ampadu who is considered one.
-
1 goal for us hardly means anything, all it does is prevent a loss at 90 minutes if Real score 1. Away goals only really start counting when you get two plus. It is why I was so disappointed last week.
-
And AC. Everyone seems to forget he is an academy boy.
-
If the asking price is €85m then what is the deal if we can somehow combine CHO into it? €40m plus CHO? I mean, didn't we turn down £60m from Bayern last season?
-
It's being moved to Wembley. Check out the prices of top hotels around the ground and then compare them to non-event days.

Doing God's work, Vesper. Thanks.

Juve pulling a Bayern there.

You do realise we are 2 from 7 in CL semi's, right? The expectation should be to lose in heartbreaking fashion. Only Semi we have lost comprehensively was the Atleti one. I mean look at this list: 2004 - Tinkerman tries out JFH as a RB in the away leg. Home leg we get to 2-0, Gudjohnsen and Gronkjear both miss two great chances. Monaco get a goal with virtually the last kick of the first half through a handball. 2005 - Ghost goal. Gudjohnsen has glorious chance in 93rd minute and smashes it wide (not beating up on Eidur as I loved him, but he did miss to great chances.) 2007 - Pen loss to the Dippers. Really should've won the first leg. 2008 - Finally win one, but we nearly contrive to lose it at the end. 2009 - Nothing needs to be said. 2012 - Torres pays for his £50m transfer with one goal. How we actually won the Barca tie over the two legs is a bit of a mystery. 2014 - Outplayed/out thought/fought by AM.
-
He wasn't that great at Palace. Like all of his career so far, he showed flashes but he wasn't putting in consistent 90 minute performances week to week. Only time he did that was in March-May 2019 however, even then I would say he was still drifting in and out of games but he was just being more productive in the final third which bulked up his stats.
-
So, you're prepared for us to go back to defending like the keystone cops in order to get an extra AM further up the pitch?
-
Yeah, people are hitting the crack pipe too hard if they think 3atb isn't going to be used next season. The amount of control we have with it means you would have to be absolutely insane to switch to a back 4. I mean lets look at us in a back 4? All this season and last season, people just ran straight through us and our games resembled basketball matches. No way do you go back to that to get a extra AM on the pitch when you can do that anyway by deploying one as a WB if needs be. Our problem is a lack of instinctive goalscorer and that we have had to switch formations mid-season. Furthermore, people need to remember all formations aren't prefect and it is about the one that provides you with the best opportunity to win. 3atb is that for us and has been since Conte's time. Lets learn from our mistakes rather than repeat them.
