  1. I am not either. However, we do have the data to show that Sanchez isn't able to handle all parts of GK'ing at PL level. So, keeping him in is essentially chasing good money after bad.
  2. I think Filip shouldn't start against Astana. He should already be the one to take the gloves for the next PL game.
  3. Good point 😅. Bettinelli Disaster Tosin Veiga Chilwell Hall ?? George Carney Mudryk Guiu
  4. Bettinelli Disaster Tosin Veiga Chilwell Hall Carney George Guiu Mudryk No need to risk too many players. We can lose this one. Arguments can be had to have more youth players in the side if needed.
  5. GK and CB, yes. Maybe even a RB if James is completely broken. However, I am not convinced about a need for a CF. Jackson is progressing well and does a lot of the hard work, no one else wants to do. For me, a 2nd CF is fine but that will mean Nkunku leaves. Sorry but Sanchez is clearly the weakest link in the side. He has probably cost us about five goals this season a decent GK saves/doesn't make those mistakes. Arsenal at home, Liverpool away, Leicester pen, Brighton first, stupid foul for the pen against Utd, 2nd Spud goal yesterday. That is 4-6 points he has cost us minimum. That is before the pressure he puts on the team with his passing. This is also a reoccurring theme with him last season and the season before he started as No.1 and got dropped for being poor. He is doing the same again. It is madness to keep him in. He simply isn't going to evolve from a clown to prime Yashin overnight- despite what the analytics team thinks his data shows. Exactly. Massive liability.
  6. I mean, yeah it may look like that but let's see. I have seen too many Chelsea sides lose st Goodisen and shit the bed against Bournemouth and Brentford in particular to think we are waltzing to 21 points.
  7. Got to give Jorgensen a go. Can't keep carrying him.
  8. Great result. Thought Enzo was actually MotM. Also good to see we can score again after the past few years. However, Sanchez needs dropping. We are winning despite him.
  9. I reckon this is a club push. The data guys seem to have an absolute raging boner for Bob.
  10. Maybe for Lavia. Dangerous game for a CM to have a yellow away to Spuds with Taylor as ref.
  11. Sanchez has been absolutely shocking. Dives the wrong way for the first, gets beat - yet again- at his near post. Giving the ball away easily. Seriously get this guy out. As for the elbow, Taylor would've had the card out of his pocket before he connected if that was a dipper.
  12. I think he doesn't want the turn overs. I think Sancho is a more defensive player in that he doesn't turn the ball over so much Typical that Spuds have their two best CB's back today.
  13. I don't disagree. More just playing devil's advocate.
  14. Disaster needs to be sold at all costs. His play in possession and his reading of the game is woeful. Only trait he has that is any good is being able to attack the ball in the air. Chilwell needs to go because of his wage and the lack of trust Enzo has in him. Tbh, I am slightly surprised he hasn't at least got some Conference League minutes to keep him match fit as he isn't awful. But hey, ho. Benoit is a good enough rotation option who is on low wages. Unless he wants to leave or a decent offer comes in, I am not sure I would sell him. Casedei needs a loan. I wouldn't sell yet. One good loan a CM with his profile will rocket in value. He has both time and a low wage on his side. Carney. Same as Casedei but his wages may be a bit more of an issue. Also brought for a higher fee. Still feel he is better on loan than sold right now. Mudryk. Be surprised if we sold just because his value has bottomed out and a loan to Germany/Italy could help a lot. That said if someone came in with a OK fee, then I would also sell. Guiu. Of all the above players I would loan. I actually like a lot of his game. He just needs to calm down in front of goal. Italy would be a great destination imo. Noni strikes me as someone who will be sold for profit. We are running out of HG players to sell so we will need to start doing this with some of the players we brought. Estevao is coming next season so room may need to be made. Personally, I like Noni a lot and wouldn't sell but if you put on a financial hat, you can see why the club may sell him.
  15. I wouldn't hold too much against Kai and what he says as apprantly he is a bit of a moron/slow. Brandt apparently saved him from seriously poisoning himself as he thought that blue gel you get in ice packs was drinkable. Guy cut it open and put it in his drink to which Brandt had to stop him.
  16. Agree. I suspect the set up to be similar to Villa at the back. Although he may go with Gusto at RB with Enzo dropping out. It will probably depend on the condition of the players and how he weighs up attach v defence against this Spud side. As for the CB. I would be amazed if it is not Badi. Especially after Tosin and Disaster started midweek. My predicted line-up is: Sanchez Moi Badi Colwill Cucu Lavia Enzo Sancho Palmer Neto Jackson
  17. This will be a real marker of where we adem if we fail to beat yet another traditionally top 6 side, that will make it 6 out of 6. We need to not play safe like we did against City, Arsenal, Utd and the Dippers. Need to put a marker down here. That said I expect a draw - probably a back and forth one.
  18. Having Disaster in the team is asking for trouble. OK, Soton are probably high Champo level but that guy is League One-Two level. Absolutely playing with fire playing that muppet. Good to see Jorgensen start but this changing 7 players seems a bit much to me. We have a young squad, the vast majority of them should be able to play two games a week. Really hope we do not have to start chasing the game in the second half.
  19. Personally, I am not that convinced the Dippers are that good. They are for sure on a good run, but when I watch them, they can be up and down and seem to be grinding a lot of games. For instance, they should have lost against Soton. Firstly because the ref didn't give Soton a blatant pen when they were 2-1 up and second they needed Soton to essentially score their three goals for them.
  20. Probably an arguement to add him to the B team and send Casadei off on loan. His profile is probably actually a better fit for the B team than Casadei as he is more similar to Lavia and Caicedo than Casadei? Which means he can slot into the A team more easily.
  21. Or if he has a knock. However, equally it is correct we should not be leaving him out for Spurs and I would imagine that he would also expect to start if fully fit. My team would be: Sanchez Caicedo Badi Colwill Cucu Lavia Enzo Palmer Felix Neto Jackson If Neto is still a bit iffy after his knock then one of Mudryk or Sancho. Personally, I really want to see Palmer, Felix and Neto as a front three (so Palmer can play more in the final third) so Noni is only not being overlooked for Mudryk owing to him having to play off the right.
  22. Tbh, we are still a GK and RCB away from a league title. Personally, I suspect the Dippers to grind their way to a title and Arsenal to keep ahead. 3rd-4th feels about right for the profile of the squad currently.
  23. In the world where people who make decisions think everyone secretly wants the Dippers to win the league.
  24. Yeah, my friend mentioned that he seemed to be playing like Willian. I think that was a good comparison. A player who need for high possession games that will get decent stats but not amazing. However, most likely won't go completely apologies, even if he can be a bit patchy within a 90 minute spell. Key will probably be not allowing him to take set pieces as we all remember that story.
  25. Still not convinced this is the right idea. For me, Felix can do the donkey work side and Palmer should be given a more luxury role out on the right. I am not normally a fan of giving someone such a role but when they're as incisive and clinical as Cole, it is actually kind of mental to tell him to do the donkey work and take him away from the attacking third. Especially as Felix also operates to a high level doing that graft side.
