Tbf, Broja's deal to Ipswich was a good one. Just a shame he is made of glass and got injured again.

I think there are clearly players who are brought with a view to churn through the loan system and makes small profits on, with a potential they explod. I am fine with Angelo type buys, he hasn't really cost us anything - although there is a danger someone like Washington is going to just get lost in the system, but that is another conversation. The bigger problem for me is when we get Disaster and Sanchez level players to play in the first team.
-
Ah, I read Noah as away. Thank God for that.
-
American sports players who are 'names' always get paid more. You have people like Jordan Love who is an ok Quarterback who get essentially $55m a year or $3.25m a game (if his team do not make the play offs.) For clarification, Love has only had one season as a starter and only looked decent in the last 8 games or something. QB's do get paid differently to other positions in American Football, but it is also a good example of how they're paid crazily.

So, after all the close options we get Kazakhstan, Armenia and Greece away. Pretty sure that is the worst draw possible for us in terms of distance.

I do get why people are worried. However, I am actually hopeful Jackson will improve as the season goes on and in Nkunku, Palmer and Felix I do feel there are enough goals with them in the F9 position. Sure it isn't perfect, but equally the Risk of handing either of those two big contracts is a bigger risk. Even if they came good, the squad would riot and demand massive increases. OK, this isn't a surprise but equally I hope the club have a good case if people question this.
-
It is because the club are worried he will be a bust - with good justification in my mind. I am with them on this, we will take a punt on VO as a loan or he can go to Saudi. I don't think this is unfair. In addition, I also think he is vastly overpaid at Napoli and if this was reversed Napoli would be rinsing us saying his wages are too high.
-
You do realise we are talking about a VO who wants insane money and the Brentford Bettor, Ivan Toney? I would actually say the Saudi club have saved us from ourselves.
-
No, don't want him either. I am happy to roll with Jackson and the False 9's with Nkunku and Palmer. I am personally fed up of overpaying for average CF's (which is what VO is hence only us and Saudi being in for him, just like Toney.) I am certain if he came here he would be in the Lukaku category of needing to get rid and everyone lowballing within two years.
-
Glad we are dodging the VO bullet.
-
Mine work better.
-
Funnily enough, it is also my dream go see Sterling at Arsenal.
-
Under absolutely no circumstances should VO be offered over £150k a week or even signed to a permanent deal in tbe first instance. I don't give a feck if he has been offered more by Saudi or that he won't sign a deal worth less than his Napoli deal. He isn't worth the sort of fees and wages being discussed. Please walk away unless it is a loan.
-
Surely these are the locations Washington should end up, no? That kid can't be with the U21's for another season.
-
Or he agreed to split the wages he was owed over two years.
-
Good to see Kepa off the books for another season. As for Petro, hope he has a decent season and either replaces the clown Sanchez next season as GK2 and/or does enough for us to get our money back.
-
Yep. It is probably why the club have gone scorched earth. Know it is possibly the only way to get him out, if they get lucky.

Yeah. This is why I do not take this cunt seriously. He is literally like one of us who says they have an ITK..... Indeed. Pretty much like anyone who tells you they are 'green' yet are always the first fecker to travel in business+ and stay in a 4/5 star hotel. I will 'caveat' this by saying - I am fortunate enough to- fly business+/stay in 4*+ hotels. However, I hate how feckers try to tell me to feel bad for doing so; when I came from a council estate and didn't have to do anything dodgy to move out (or even earn 'serious money') Yeah VO seems to prefer money and attention. He had a contract above his value Napoli. Yet, within 12 months of siging that contract, he wants more. He is like Lukaku - with a much better first touch tbf. Noni is most definitely the barometer between people who understand football and, people who do not. For sure, he isn't the most technical, but equally he is the most 'ol' skool' and direct. Honestly, feel he gets criterised because he doesn't overly show emotion. Trevor, is in a similar category, much better than the rest, but has to be by 2x to get the credit.... Toney is essentially Giroud with a gambling habit.....that is good or bad, depending on your preslective. VO, is the biggest fraud in football. Literally - Napoli cannot wait to replace him with Lukaku.- think about that.....Althought, that said, you did love the idea of Lukaku here when we signed him....... I think the only reason this is happening is due to 'equal destruction'. We get rid of Sterling, and Utd get rid of Sancho, with similar length of contracts. I am sure there is a FFP deal in there. Yeah. This this why I do not take this cunt seriously...... This is the danger. However, the question i, do you rather Sancho, or Sterling at £300k per week? I reckon the board rather take Sancho, over Sterling, and instead is like a like-for-like.

Be Trev over Disaster has to be one of the easiest decisions going. Can't see Brentford doing this. They scout very well and buy/sell well. Carney is the only one I could see moving there if we agree to a low fee.
-
Seriously, we shouldn't be worried about signings. We need to sell/loan like crazy. Kepa, Chilwell, Sterling and Lukaku are about £1m a week in wages. Cannot have them just sitting around, even if it is for half a season.
-
He will need to go out on loan. Only reason why I think any of us have any hope is because what other professional players and coaches have said they've seen from him in training.
-
Noni really hates Wolverhampton. Trying to get them to walk off.
-
Any half decent DM who has positional sense and readonable passing range doesn't have a problem playing a sole DM position. That Caicedo needs people around him so he isn't a liability says more about his limitations than anything else.
-
He is always like this when he doesn't have Gallagher and CuCu holding his hand beside him.
-
Anyone seen our DM? You know the player that is meant to get his foot on ball to control the pace of the game and not allow teams to run right through us? Yeah, me neither.
