I can't believe he survived this game with no red. Its strange because playing for Atletico he was not that mad. By the way: 0 UCL goals. Impressive stats.
-
Hazard was quite for 95% of the match. Sometimes its hard to notice he was even playing...

The result of the game against PSG was only a consequence of Mourinho's job since he arrived. Our squad in really unidimensional. We only have a proper striker (who is not on par with the likes of Cavani and Ibra). The defense is a mixture of decadent players, average ones and average ones playing out of position. There is only one proper DM. Our attacking players can't score goals, and don't even try to. The worst things of all. Some people still believe Mourinho is a tactics master, and that PL still is a powerhouse. The talk is: "Chelsea suffered an unexpected defeat". Really? To be honest PSG squad is way better. They are strong in every area of the field (GK aside). This squad is perhaps the most lifeless one of the Abramovich era. Its a team that is more concerned about not taking risks than winning the game. No one can deny that at this point.

The myth about Mourinho being a suppa genius of football tactics seems a picture from a distant past. Its really shocking to realize the 2015 Mourinho is only a shadow of the once Special One. Even people who hated the guy couldn't deny there wasn't a better manager in the world to win you big things. Say whatever you want, his years with Madrid were a failure. For a second season in a row, the team is completely outplayed in UCL knockout-stage. To be quite honest, 2013 season aside, we had our worst UCL exits under Mourinho mk II. Outplayed at home for two seasons in a row. 3-1 and now a 2-2 playing with 10 men for 90 minutes. I can't believe some people still believe its still about tik-taka vs pragmatic football. This is not pragmatical football, its a bad attempt of being conservative and lethal at the same time. We are not talking about 4-2 against Barcelona 10 years ago. Its also really annoying when every time you talk bad things about Mourinho, someone will say "Jose out, a supid name in".

Indeed. For years people used Ferguson example to talk about stability. He is the exception. United decided to fire Moyes even before the end of the season...
-
I'm not even mad. To be honest with this team we were never going that far. It will be a huge season if we manage to win the PL with this team.
-
This is the reason I always loved Luiz. Cahill will never put a performance like that in his life.
-
7 minutes left...
-
Will Costa survive this one with no red?
-
Not a surprised that the team started to play after we conceded. Cahill and Luiz goals were amazing, to be honest.
-
Wow, its really shocking to realize its been 10 years... About the video, for the past years I've been searching a video of this game without music. Not a fan of football game with ballads or new metal songs in the background...
-
Its weird how you don't believe in your own players...its not a surprise that english players lack confidence in international level.
-
People used to say the same about Costa last season. Football is not predictable as some people seem to suggest in this thread. Kane is 21, Costa 26.
-
If I'm not crazy he was the one who equalized the last time we met them.
-
Cahill vs Cavani will be embarrassing.
-
Too early to ask this question.
-
Oscar is 23 years old. This forum became weird in recent years. As soon as a player is not involved in big games, then people decide they must be sold. You never win big things with 11 players.
-
I would not use the term "world class" to describe Fabregas,
-
His 1st season will be the next one. He is way out of place.
-
Liked your post because camera mans face is priceless.
-
Classless as usual.

PL is really in bad shape. Not sure if anyone at this point still believe its the strongest league in the world. Years ago we had english teams playing the final year after year. 3 out of 4 teams in semi finals for 2 seasons in a row. Now its all over. PL is stuck in time. People love to talk about longevity, actually sometimes you must try something new. Arsenal is still managed by Wenger, but its obvious his best belongs to the past. United is paying the price for waiting too long to rebuild a team that was great in the past. Chelsea returned to Mourinho. While doing good in PL, the team playing style feel a little Jurassic in UCL. To be honest its shocking that we almost won PL last season, after so much inconsitence. Its also weird that Liverpool almost made it. City form was also far from superb. I cant say we have any great team in PL at this point. There is something wrong, because the teams are still spending huge money. When you dont have a great team to lead the league, its always a problema, because the rest of the league. If your team almost win the league, its very tempting to go for the next season believing Cahill is a world class defender, Azipilicueta is an amazing LB (he is not even an LB at all), and with the belief that your team only lack a proper striker to be world beater. If you never really challenged for the trophy, its when you get a reality check.

Not sure if I care about this one. All we need at this moment is another victory in PL. If we manage to lose this one, the season will not look good for us.
-
What happened to our early season form
Henrique replied to edetarod's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
To be honest, the PL race is far from over as you are suggesting. If I bet my money at this moment, I would say City will win it again. -
So, City s problems should be an excuse?
