  1. People comparing Oscar and Turan. First they are different kind of players. Second, people in this forum usually judge attacking players by the amount of goals they score. His career record is far from impressive. 13 league goals in 4 seasons for Atletico. And last, come one people, I'm sure you all barely watched an Atletico game last season. Many here only watched Turan playing against us last season. About Turan as a Chelsea player, he is the last thing this team need. The team is already solid in so many ways, but lack something special in the attack. Turan is a player of few goals and few assists. Imagining an attacking mid trio of Willian-Turan-Hazard, we can only imagine the team will rely even more on Hazards magic to win games, since Turan and Willian are unlikely to score more than 5 goals combined or even make more than 5 assists a season. Oscar have a decent goal record, and can produce some magic moments like the assist to Hazard's goal against United. For me Turan will be a squad player. But it seems some people see him as an instant starter. For me he is a very good player, but definitely not what this team needs. We are full of "hardworking" players, but its time to add something more to this squad.
  2. The material quality is really poor. In in the past two seasons the kit wasnt leaked untill it was announced. All Adidas teams kits that proved to be genuine were leaked about 1 month ago, while this red collar is around since 4 months ago with Turkish Airline as the sponsor. I really doubt adidas would decide the design even before the main sponsor was choosen, and even if they wanted to make that kit, they would never stick with that one, since it was leaked 5 months before the release, anda there are obscure sites sellling those kits. 100% sure thats not the kit.
  3. Come on, the materials there are clearly coming from an asian rip off.
  4. People complaining about tattoos, diving, etc. Get a life people.
  5. To be honest this kit will look nice on the pitch.
  6. All invalid points: *Falcao form with United has nothing to do with injury, it was more related with completely out of place in the team system. van Persie 10 league goals was also far from impressive. *The fact we "never played with two strikers" doesn't mean anything. You don't buy new players thinking about how you played in the past. To other side, its not even a fact, since we played with two strikes and even with 3 (PSG 2014 game). *Falcao is not a 3rd striker. CF are not like GK. Perhaps a club buy some players to be squad players, but I'm not sure if a club buy a new player thinking "this will be the 3rd DM, 3rd CF, 3rd CB". His form will define his squad status. He is not even a Chelsea player, how can you know his wage? *He only had one season for United, and was far from a success. Fabregas had more ties with Arsenal than Falcao with United.
  7. To be honest Falcao is a huge improvement on 2015 version of Didier Drogba. Falcao and Costa played together in Atlético and they understand each other. Not sure why the usual crying babies are against this:
  8. Thats a very nice kit, to be honest. Inspired by those 90s weird patterns:
  9. United one looks legit. The Chelsea kits with red looks fake to me. All of them were around months ago with Turkish Airlines logo. Not sure if Adidas would choose the definitive template before the mains sponsor was decided.
  10. Gerrard had a very anticlimactic end of career at Liverpool. Last season seemed a fairy tale, he was sure he was going to win PL for the 1st time in his career after that City match. He even cried at the end of that game. Two games later he made a stupid mistake and Liverpool lost the trophy. Now in his last game for Liverpool, Stoke score SIX. I really laughed when I read the news on internet. lol. Poor Steven.
  11. 1st one looks fake. The texture on the second is too good to be fake, though.
  12. My favorite Chelsea side was the one that reached 08 UCL Final. Players rulling the team, no conservative tactics. I will never forget the second leg in semi-finals against Liverpool. For it was one of my favorite football moments from last decade. The way the team played in extra-time was outstanding. That team went for the victory in the extra-time. Scored a goal that was disallowed, kept the pressure, scored, and went for another one. To be honest, under the tactics from previous seasons, that match probably would have been decided on penalties. My second favorite team was the one from 09-10 season. Its a shame that Ancelotti could never translate the domestic dominance into european success.
  13. It was only one defeat until the trophy was secured. The other losses came in games like the one played yesterday, the trophy was secured and league race was all but over.
  14. No doubt Jose's staff is pretty good in creating news, like Real wanting him back.
  15. Looks really similar to the one Whe Hate Scouse posted in his topic about the world exclusive news. Could be only a example on a random template.
  16. Last time Chelsea won PL was back in 2010. In 2 seasons, Mourinho already reached one UCL semi-final, and 2 domestic trophies, including a major one. Thats quite impressive for any manager. Perhaps he is not as good as he used to be, but definitely he seems the right man for the job at his moment.
  17. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3067784/Chelsea-boss-Jose-Mourinho-believes-Premier-League-competitive-Europe-laughs-comparisons.html Mourinho is wrong here. PL is more competitive due to lack of dominant teams. Brazilian league is perhaps the most competitive in the world, but the quality of football is incredible low. He said in PL top clubs cant beat the inferior ones by 6 or 8. He is right, but its more related with lack of teams good enough to smash the weak ones, than the teams of the bottom of the table being decent. We must remind Jose that in 2010 we won the PL trophy with a amazing 8-0 result against Wigan in the last game. Barcelona and Real would easily score up to 5 against sides like Burnley, Sunderland and QPR.
  18. We can't even compare both teams. 04/05 Chelsea was easily one of the teams of that decade. That team really deserved to win the UCL that season, and I'm sure the team was going to beat Milan in that final. That ghost goal was a big frustration. The current team is only a shadow of that team. Mourinho was at his peak. The team was solid and lethal, far from boring.
