Hulk kind of player.

I liked some things Mourinho did today: Kennedy impressed me, and he was introduced to give the team something more in the attack, it was not just exchanginh right backs. Falcao is better than Remy and was the only one in the attack who could do something in final minutes. Loftus-Cheek played really well, and it seems he offers something more than the unidimensional and clumsy Matic. To other side Kenedy is not a full back, the team should be playing with 3-5-2 in final minutes, insted the team was still playing with 4 in the back. Strange. Letting Costa stay on the pitch was a huge mistake. He barely touched the ball since Falcao was introduced and it was hard to believe he was even on the pitch. To other side his 4-2-3-1 is getting really boring. Next match he must make some huge changes. Ivanovic is finished. Just finished. Defense is the team weak point for a long time and I don't even believe Matic is considered a world class DM by some people.

Another game were he was far from special. Get the feeling we will have a new man of the season.
-
I really don't know what you are talking about mate. I won't even discuss that, because Pato is a player for play in MLS, Chinese League or Brazilian one. He has a big name, but just not good enough for highest level of football. Perfect for that kind of league.

Nothing wrong with his tactics today. Lack of depth still worryng. Playing Terry instead of Cahill was the right decision. A new LB was bought, and I hope in near future we will see Azpi playing as RB and Ivanovic out of the starting XI, at least as long as RB role is concerned. Good start for Pedro, at least he can score goals, and we can say the same about Willian. Oscar, Hazard and Pedro is the ideal combination with William as an option. Squad still lacks depth and this is going to be a tough season.

Good post, but lets be honest, for the past 100 years this is the 8th "transition" season...
-
Im sure something weird happened. Thats not normal.
-
Everyone in Brazil would be laughing at your post. No.

Cuadrado going to Juventus despite being in FIFA 16 cover wearing a Chelsea kit. HUGE surprise.
-
You dont need Pogba when you have Ramires, who is the better footballer.
-
Reason why Cuadrado has been a failure: Mourinho is basically manager with no repertoire. He won't create a tactic based in the players he has available. Just think about Juan Mata. Geez, the man looked average an awfull playing for Mourinho, despite easily being the best player during 12/13 season. The reason why: Mourinho wanted Mata to play a role that is not suitt for his playing abilities. For past 2 seasons Mourinho is stuck with his predictable 4-2-3-1. I bet in 2019 the team will be playing with the same pattern. He only change the players. It doesn't matter if the team is facing PSG or Stoke City. 4-2-3-1. Defensive approach: Matic/Ramires or Mikel or Zouma; Hazard, William, Fabregas as #10 role; Lone CF. Offensive approach: the Matic, Fabregas; Hazard, William, Oscar as #10; Lone CF With some minor variations. Quadrado is a not player like William, he lacks the tactical disicipline and is not used to defend. He was good in Italy and was easily one of best players of 2014 WC. Pedro will play as RW. I don't expect Pedro to score many goals doing Willian's job. Actually he will be dropped as soon as he is not giving Ivanovic enough protection.
-
If you compare our approach since Mourinho was hired. Oscar, Hazard, Curtois, Mata. Players that were not expensive but could become world class. Right now the club is buying rejects, like Fabregas and Pedro, and those guys are not coming for cheap money. Willing to pay 40m for unproven CB, an act of disspair coming from a club with unbalanced squad, lacking depth in defense. Cuadrado was bought for big money, barely started an oficial match, was discarded as a waste 6 months later and the club is buying a guy who is not good enough for Barcelona and would be a squad player for United or City, but will be a starting 11 here. When you see what clubs like Liverpool, United, City and Arsenal are doing, theres 0 reason to be optimistic. 2013 the future looked exciting. Squad offered many options and team needed some adjustments. The squad is getting weaker season after season.

I honestly believe you dont have a clue about what you are saying. Actually I dont expect any big trophy untill 2019. No trophies untill 2019 means no succes. Very simple. You are the onde who is pissed with the idea of trophyless seasons untill 2019.
-
Do you honestly believe Mourinho was hired to get a huge amount of money and stay as head coach untill 2019 with no big trophies?
-
Between 2006 and 2010 the team got no big trophies. The same scenario is set to happen now. Dont mind if you are upset.
-
Dont get mad, mate. I dont see the team winning anything big for the next 4 years, unless something drastic happens. Not my wish, but thats what I believe will happen.
-
just being realistic.
-
Cant believe. The club became a joke in transfer market since Mourinho was appointed. You can say Luiz was sold for 40m. Ok, because PSG is willing to do crazy things. Barcelona sold Fabregas and bought Rakitic for half the price. Team full of attacking players, and now we are buying another Barcelona reject. His performance in both finals against Bilbao speaks loud about his abilities, or the lack of them. Another player that is rumored is an unkown CB that is set to become the most expensive defender ever. Unbelieveable. Long term success is doomed.
-
Falcao is better than Remy.
-
To be honest Costas first 2 games of this season were the worst performances I have ever seen from a CF playing for Chelsea since Lukaku. He must start next match ahead of Costa.
-
Not worth the amount of money. Window closing in few days, no doubt Everton will try to milk every money they can. Reminds me of Rooney situation, when the team played the whole without a proper forward. Selling Luiz for 40m was the only smart move in ther market since 2013. Future seasons are doomed with the current situation. I really doubt a strong team will be build untill 2019. The current manager is not used to this kind of situation.
-
Really bad performance. Missed an incredible opportunity to equalize, and stayed with ball too much before conceding the counter attack that ended in City's 3rd goal. Jose is not doing him a favor saying Hazard is better than Cristiano Ronaldo. He doesn't need that kind of pressure.
-
He is right. Not sure what happened, but I realized this is all he is doing at the moment. Very different from last season. I think people praised him too much for the wrong reasons, and now he thinks being a jerk on the pitch, winning fre-kicks, penalties and picking fights is what turn him into a good player.
