  1. I remember that for some years people said Chelsea needed stability. To be honest stability is something you would never get will Jose Mourinho around.
  2. I remember when Chelsea reached semi-finals in 2014 UCL. After the final result 2-0, one english commentator said "oh, the man is a genius". While in ESPN Brasil commentator said Mourinho just pressed "random button" introducing 3 CF in the last 15 minutes of the game. This is a perfect example: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3200177/John-Terry-s-substitution-statement-Jose-Mourinho-s-leader-didn-t-exposed-says-Graeme-Souness.html Even when Mourinho makes a simple move, by introducing the only non CF attacking option available and replacing JT, someone would say there is some extraordinary reason behind the whole thing.
  3. Perhaps you have a point, but football is dynamic. I have to remember you that PL is not a one month tournament like World Cup. The team won PL last season because of performance in the first half of the season. The team was in decline for the second half of the season. Arsenal scored more points and Manchester United scored almost the same amount of points as Chelsea. Perhaps its just me, but last season was one of the worst in PL in terms of quality of football. English clubs performance in Europe speaks loud. Arsenal, City and United were all strugling for different reasons, they were never consistent enough. The team only won 2 games out of 6 against top 4 teams. Years ago a team with such a record against top sides would never win the PL. Its almost safe to say the team faced no competition last season. For me, Mourinho's job in 2013/14 season was way better than in the last one, but in 2014 the team ended in 3rd.
  4. Benitez was supposed to win the league 3 games ago? Not sure what you mean...
  5. Something strange is definetely happenning. Club offered him a new contract, but it seems something is not right. He is asking for new player, perhaps he is not in control of everything.
  6. Ivanovics fault and specially Hazard. Can't believe in what I'm watching.
  7. 2nd best player in the world would never miss that chance...
  8. Ramires playing a decent match. Scored a legit goal.
  9. Not a bad performance, but thats what you get when your CB partership is Cahill and the almost retired Terry. That's Mourinho biggest mistake today. Diego Costa awful, just awful. Falcao for the 2nd half.
  10. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm getting the feeling a disaster will happen...
  11. it's hard to believe you thought I said he will leave after 3 yars for no other reason other than "i cant stay at a club for more than 3 seasons". As you said, Mourinho left for different reasons his past clubs. What will happen with Mourinho before 2019 is the same that happened in 2007 with Chelsea and Madrid in 2013: "he wont have the conditions of staying". Mourinho actually creates bad conditions for himself as soon as the results aren't goof enough. He started to lose his Chelsea job back in 2007 when things were bad in the middle of 06/07 season and he blamed the lack of activity in winter market for losing the PL for United. His years in Spain were not exaclty a success. Someone would say he won La Liga. Bernd Schuster also won La Liga with Madrid in past 10 years, and lets be honest, winning La Liga with Madrid is far from a huge achievement, everybody knows Mourinho was hired to win UCL, and left the club giving himself praise for winning Copa Del Rey. Mourinho is easily the best manager in the world to take a group of good individuals and build a winning team as soon as possible. I'm not sure about his success as a long term manager, when is requires to build a team from nowhere. The defense situation is pretty much what Mourinho is about. 2013/14 season, Luiz and Ashley Cole strugling, Azpi, Cahill, Terry, Ivanovic played together a couple of games and the team conceded few goals. That back four remained the main defense for the rest of the season. That was supposed to be a quick fix for a team that lacked "proper Mouinho's players". Ivanovic played for the first as a RB for Chelsea in the classic 3-1 win at Anfield, first leg in 08/09 UCL quarters. Hiddink was the manager and Ivanovic still was used in that position in some games for the rest of the season. 09/10 season under Ancelotti, Ivanovic was used as RB for many games, but he was never the undisputed one in that position. Bonsingwa and even Paulpo Ferreira played some games in that position when required. Between 2011 and 2013 Ivanovic played most of his games as a CB, but Mourinho decided Ivanovic was his legendary RB. It seems we don't need any other player in that position, since he is the man. Now we are starting 2015/16 season, and Ivanovic is our only opition as a RB, and thats unbelieveable. Azpilicueta is a fucking RB. After 2013 he became the udisputed LB. Cahill is not world class, Terry is in decline. Mourinho has stability, and he is the one who asks for players and the team lacks depth, specially in defensive terms. Mourinho never accepts defeats very well. If the team don't win any big trophies this season, Mourinho will start 16/17 season under huge pressure from press and from himself, then another trophyless season, he will leave, theres no doubt about it. Mourinho won't stay as Chelsea manager with no trophies.
  12. To be honest, Mourinho won´t be Chelsea manager untill 2019. He never stayed in any club for more more than 3 seasons and he is already showing signs of stress in the first game of his third season and I firmly believe he is not the right guy to stay in the same club for 6 years.
  13. I won't deny that, but I don't know how that will change the way you evaluate Mourinho's behavior.
  14. I have heard some articles where some are saying Mourinho is angry with the lack of activity in the market. I don't understand this argument. Months ago people were saying Jose had full control of transfer activity. Many said he was fucking genius because "he" sold Mata, Luiz, Bruyne and Lukaku and "he" bought Fabregas and Diego Costa and "he" still got profit. If he is angry with lack of activity in market, then perhaps he doesn't have full control of situtation, and I don't believe he does, because few clubs in the world allow the manager to have full control in transfer market, but no doubt he really have a word. He only got himself to blame for the state of current squad.
  15. lol So you beleive the problem is Eva, male or female? Mourinho was wrong to blame medical staff for getting into the pitch to chek a player's situation.
  16. Backing is different than trying to justify everything he does. Some people in this forum see Mourinho's career as flawless. If the team gets a 2-2 result, any other manager in the world would get a 0-2 defeat. Te team win the PL, then he is a genius. Mancini and Pellegrini also won PL in past 5 years and few people see those guys as amazing amanagers. The team end a season with no trophy, of course its because Mourinho does't have the proper players.
  17. Mourinho line up: the usual average back four; Zouma, Matic, Ramires; Fabregas; Hazard; Costa. Final result: 0-0. My ideal line up in the mid and attack: Matic, Ramires, Oscar; Hazard, William, Falcao.
  18. Mourinho must give him enough playing time.
