  1. 350 posts and I'm still expcting a single one that is not about Jose.
  2. Also missed 2002 WC. 2014 WC squad was an aging one. They just don't have enough quality, and thats why they are not playing Euro's 2016, and not because Hiddink messed up. This Azul guy is actually acting like a fool every single day repeating the same old line.
  3. Stop the madness. Hiddink failed with Nedherlands, thats just a bad NT anyway. Nothing unusual in Netherlands not qualifying for a big tournament.
  4. Topic back to normal. Matic is paying the price for his howler in United game. Mikel is a Hiddink favorite, but we all know Ramires should not be sitting in the bench and he belongs to the starting line up. Oscar was terrible against United, but facing United at OT is always an unusual game. This is his ideal kind of game, and he definetely should be starting this one. 5-1 final result.
  5. Yeah. Issue exclusively for Palace topic.
  6. The topic is not oficially locked, but I can't write a post, as you can see the option is not there for me.This guy wrote a post, but he is a moderator, so it seems the topic is locked, even thought it wasn't supposed to be.
  7. Another bug I found: when you click in a specific page of the topic, you are redirected to a weird page that is not the actual topic.
  8. Crystal Palace topic is definetely locked. Thats why 1 and half hour before the start of the game, the last post was made by Skipper 14 hours ago, and thats something pretty unnusual. I can't write anything there.
  9. Many topics are actually locked, including the match one.
  10. England's flag was replaced by GB flag. Bold move.
  11. Don't think so. Still far from good resolution as in the old version.
  12. It seems banned people are not banned anymore. That was a pretty cool feature. The avatars of every member are now with a low resolution. Any solution?
  13. So you want a shit manager at Chelsea, because embarrasing Roman is the mort important thing.
  14. Terry, Lampard, Drogba and Cech were not "leaders" before 2003 or 2004. Football leader are not born as natural leaders. Those players became leaders because they were gifted players, they had strong characters and they were part of winning squad. Being serious or/and angry doesn't mean a player is necessarily a leader. The problem in current season is not lack of leaders. Think about Robben. In Chelsea and Real Madrid days, Robben was never a leader. You might think about Robben today as leader, but look at his story: gifted player but never a protagonist in Chelsea or Real, called a player that lacked stron character because missed Nedherland chance to win a WC and Bayern's chance to win a UCL at home. He was a punished character, who redeemed himself scoring Bayern's UCL winner. I don't think you can just "buy" a leader. If a player is a leader elsewhere, it doesn't mean he will be a leader anywhere he goes, unless you are talking about leader in terms of skills, but I don't think you are talking about this kind of leader. Perhaps you are talking about "experienced" players, who are used to any kind of situation in football, then I might agree in this one. Makelele was perhaps the most important player in that Chelsea midfield. The problem at the moment, perhaps people from SW6 won't agree, is that Mourinho was not the right man back in 2013, and its as simples as that. The squad that was created at that moment was the most unMourinho as possible. Guardiola's was Abramovich dream, and then he ended up getting Mourinho. That doesn't make any sense, since those managers are the opposite. At the moment it seems the favorites are Guardiola and Simeone. Again two completely different animals. Mourinho came but never had full control of transfers. No doubt he allowed the likes of Mata, Lukaku, KDB, Luis and Luiz to leave, since they were all useless for Mourinho's taste, but Mourinho never had enough new players. Mourinho was getting rid of players he didn't like, but was just not getting enough mourinhoesque players to replace them. In August Mourinho said Chelsea had enough money to buy big, and he said at least one defender would come. That never happened, as we know, only Djoboloboji, but I'm sure Mourinho wasn't thinking about him. In the post Southampton match rant, he said "some people should assume responsabilities". I'm sure Mourinho was not satisfied with the quiet transfer market, and he kept saying the whole transfer window that other teams were getting stronger. What happened? In some cases Mourinho was targetting players that were not avialable at all, like Rooney, in some other cases, the club was not willing to pay the asking price, like Jones. Instead of buying "leaders", this team need something else, and in my opinion is slowly introducing players like RLC. I'm not talking about starting then in a away game against Manchester when the team is almost in the relegation zone, and getting players from key positions: DM, one CB and a RB and a LB, and those players should be "experienced" ones, its time to stop the bullshit about only getting u-25 players, but when the team is linked with the likes of Ricardo Teixeira, I don't see anything different hapenning in the future. The team will keep getting attacking players, and will forget about the other areas.
  15. Doesn't make any sense. When people start to say a 26 year guy is too old for football or is the finished product, it means they are playing too much career mode in football games.
  16. There is no way Leicester will finish outside the top 4. There is a gap of 8 points between them and first team outside the top 4, and thats Crystal Palace. 9 points in front of United, then you have the likes of West Ham, Stoke, Watford and Liverpool. Perhaps they lack the extra quality to win the league, and I still believe this is Arsenal's season, but they are definetely getting a top 4 finish.
  17. They got it right the current season kit, now they are saying this is the next season's kit: Awful, boring and cheesy at the same time. I reckon it will be impossible to make a decent kit with this ugly yokohama logo.
  18. Holland was better than Mourinho. I would put this way. Post-Chelsea Mourinho, even better. 3 games in a row without defeat, something new this season.
  19. Its something pretty common with teams are not doing well. Usually the fans will ask for players who are not playing, since they want something new. I agree with you. There is nothing to suggest he is more talented than the players that are starting. Remember Romeu was called new Makelele after a couple of games, and even Oscar looked a future world beater in his first Chelsea's games. He deserve more chances, but starting against United was not a good thing to do, and even next game against Crystal Palace would not be the right moment to introduce him, at least not starting.
  20. Lets compare Mourinho and Hiddink, if some of you want to. Mourinho: 15 points in 16 PL games. Thats 0,9375 points per game. Hiddink: 2 point in 2 PL games. 1 point per game. So, Hiddink is already better than Mourinho.
  21. Terry was good, but Matic was better.
  22. Weeks ago the team got a similiar result, under similar circunstances against Spurs. Team played with a false 9, created few chances, and most people here were saying the football was solid, Mourinho got it right, turning point of the season, result was decent because was a 0-0 against a team in the top half of table. Now it seems its a nightmare, and after two games and less than two weeks in charge, Hiddink is already clueless. About the "kids", a away game against a United that need a victory so bad is not really the perfect game to start players that never started a PL game before, like Kenedy and Traore, or even Loftus Cheek, specially when Matic was easily the man of the match, and Mikel was decent. In the future games he must stop playing Ivanovic as a RB, and restore Azpilicueta to his natural duties. Zouma is better than Cahill, and Guus should not even consider starting Cahill again. Mikel might be a good quick solution, but this team won't be winning many games while he is in the field, since he offers nothing going forward. Matic and Hazard were great.
  23. So, you are basically bashing Guus for doing exactly the same things that you beloved Jose used to do.
