I think Luiz's motivation suffered a huge blow after he realized that despite his great performance last season, Tite wasn't going to call him for this year's World Cup, so his dream of redeeming himself at International level was dead in the water. Its worth noting that Tite announce his last Brazilian squad in October 20. 11 days later Luiz came up with a shocking performance and the team was smashed by Roma. That was Luiz last game as a starting XI. Luiz problem used to be that he always wanted to give more than he could. He used to be WAY too proactive for a CB. But this season its different, it seems he just doesn't care. He became WAY too passive. His performance against Watford was the typical performance coming from a player that does not give a fuck at all. Even his body language is different. Conte was a fan of Luiz, and out of nowhere he became the 5th CB in the picking order. I don't think Conte would drop Luiz just because of some discussion about his methods, but lack of commitment is a good reason to drop a player.

You were saying the team can't defend without him, and I said its not true, because there is no team in the world goes from solid in terms of defense to conceding 7 in 2 games because of one single player, no matter how good the player is.

Read again mate...
-
Giru best on the pitch.
-
Some people dont understand how unbeliveable that we are facing the worst team in the league using 3CB...
-
Hahahaha. Moses is shit, but they have players that are even worse.
-
Must win game. I cant see us getting any points in next 2 games.
-
Why? Conte wont be around next season, so he wont have a say in who stays or go.
-
Its not about being politically correct. Its about not being stupid.

Unbelievable the difference between current Conte and past-season Conte. At this point I don't know whats the difference between Conte's and Mourinho's negative aspects. At least Mourinho had a past story, while Conte is around for only one season and half. Conte must shut up and do his job. A great coach is the one who can turn things around when the team is getting bad result. If a team collapses when the first bad results appear the manager is not doing a great job. Right now the team is playing worse from game to game. This is the moment Conte must show what he is about, specially in the game against Barcelona. I really hope at least we can give them a game and avoid an Arsenalesque demolition.

Mate, one single CB is not the reason why a team that play with 3CB is conceding 7 goals in 2 games, specially when we are talking about a player that wasn't around last season when the team looked pretty strong at the defense. Lets not buy those easy ideas: X player wasn't involved in defeats, so the abscence of this player is the reason why we are losing. The past performance are result of a team with lack of motivation from players and managers. If you look at goals conceded to Watford it seemed they were in a training session.

Its hilarious how UK press is so nice to Cahill. He was shockingly bad against Watford, but nobody is talking about it. Actually once in a while he put some horror show performance that usually goes completely unnoticed. Weird, considering how hyper critical english press used to be towards english players.

Long term: stop using the stupid 3CB thing.
-
Did you forget they had Rafa fucking Benitez before Zizou? Benitez is from Spain, Benitez is a Champions Legue winner, Benitez had a previous experience in La Liga when he won the League with Valencia, Benitez is not known as ultra-defensive or a manager that make public complains about the club in the press.
-
Mate, Conte is not the kind of manager Real Madrid will look for. He doesn't even have the "Champions League winner" brand over him. The last thing Real Madrid want is a manager using 3CB in a game against Rayo Vallecano at Santiago Bernabeu AND a manager that is not afraid of complaining in the press about the lack of control on the transfer window.

"How hilariously ridiculous sacking Mourinho in favor of Conte would be ffs". Talk Chelsea 2 years ago.
-
Mate, those numbers are misleading. Conte only have one full season as manager, a season where he won the Premier League. Give him more years and those numbers will drop. Actually, just wait until the end of this season and those numbers will drop. People may have their own opinion about Conte, but its dishonest to use those stats to support your point of view. According tho win/rate stats, Scolari, Roberto Mancini and Pellegrini are in the top 10 managers in PL story and Avran Grant is Top 3, ahead SAF and only behind Guardiola and Conte. Its like that "Chelsea just sacked a manager that just won the Champions League" thing. I still read things like that once in a while, but people just forget to mention that RDM is not a top manager, and never had decent success after he was sacked. If Conte is fired the media will come up with this bullshit and keep the circlejerk going: "Chelsea just fired the manager with the best win rate in the history of Premier League", and won't even mention that he was the same manager who decide the best CF of the Premier League wasn't good enough and decided to replace him with Lukaku or Morata, the same manager that conceded 7 goals against Bournemouth and Watford and the same manager that will play with 3CB even if the opposition is the worst team in the League and the game is at SB. When RDM was fired the talk in the media was "Chelsea sacked a Champions League winner", but never mentioned he was the first managed to not even reach the knockout stage of CL with the current CL winner.

AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAH

This is the most stupid article I've ever read about the Conte situation. David Luiz aside, there are no stories about Conte having problems with the squad, but its widely report that the relationship between Conte and The Board have deteriorated since Diego Costa situation back in past summer. If Conte leaves, it will be more related with his poor relationship with people running the club and his lack of focus after became clear he is not in the club's plans for next season. I really don't know why at this point someone would come up with such stupid insinuations.
-
Sky Sports reporting he will remain, and the club is not seeking replacements. Pretty sad if true. Season is doomed.
-
Pretty silly to imagine sacking Conte was not even discussed.
-
Jesus.
-
Cahill shockingly bad.
-
The man passed between Cahill and Moses. Easily. Shocking.
-
WTF? They score when they want.
