Actually I believe that Drogba is now a squad player. I think he will be happy with that, because he probably had some discussions with the Board and the guys said that if he wanted to stay, he should accept that Torres is the real deal right now. Torres + Aguero would be the best for us in next season.

I believe the performance in pre season really means something. Our pre season in 09/10 season was superb. We had a good season and won the double. Our pre season last season was shit, and we had a shit season. If we have a shit pre season I will be worried.

Boas is a smart guy. He wont say even before the first league game that Torres and Drogba wont play together. Im pretty sure he wont use both together, and for his first two games its pretty clear that he doesn't intend to do so.

Free market doesnt mean you should allow this kind of stupid deal under a regulation. If there is a fair play rule, then you cant allow this kind of deal, or the rule wont make any sense. For me football is business and you should allow clubs to spend as much as they want, as long as it doesnt mean destroying the sport. Buying Torres for 50m wont destroy football. But now there is a rule, so UEFA must take some actions, if not City would be allowed to spend big every year and other clubs wont, not because City is doing a good job, but because the stupid sheiks are making this kind of artificial deal to "fool" the rule. If there was not any rule, so city could make 1 billion deal and I would not care, but this deal is only to cheat the rule and cheat other clubs that are trying to get into the regulations.

He is 31 but he is a DM, that play in same position as Makelele. Its different from a winger or a striker, like Malouda or Drogba, that cant play the same football as they were playing when they were younger. Thats why you see defenders like Maldini playing until his 40, and Makele that arrived at Chelsea at his 30, and played the best years of his career for the next 5 years, when he was already 35.

I think for him its better sign for Arsanal than Chelsea. But it will be really nice to see this guy here, specially right now that Falcao is not coming.

Im pretty sure you want Umbro because its an english brand. Adidas is way better than Umbro in almost every aspect, and Umbro has a shit distribuition program around the world. When Chelsea has Umbro kits, it was really difficult to find a Chelsea shirt in Brazil, even after the years of glory under Mourinho. I could find a Spurs kit but wont find a Chelsea kit. Nowadays everywhere you find Chelsea's shirts, and its much more common than Real or even Manchester kit. Adidas is helping Chelsea to become this huge brand that it is nowadays. So, no, Chelsea dont need Umbro anymore.
