Hopefully, we just sign a top striker next season to replace Costa. Michy is competent competition imo. Maybe add in Tammy or even Traore and the CF department is decent (e.g. Lukaku/Belotti, Batshuayi, Traore/Abraham). Overall, even though he had some blips, he's shown a fantastic attitude despite not having that much game time. If Conte started him instead of Costa from January onwards, I'm certain he would've had 20 in all comps this season. Easy.

Didn't he score twice in that game? Arsenal ask Alexis to be a creator too much when he's clearly a scorer. Imagine Pedro being asked to create as much as Alexis is here - he'd be even worse with turnovers. He wouldn't be in this situation that he's at at Arsenal all the time. He isn't that bad of a creator but in Conte's system situations like this wouldn't happen often.

Massive, massive Zouma fan but he needs to go out on loan. He's completely rusted, and Antonio's system isn't helping. He needs to refine his play on the ball and sort out his positioning, and you can only do that if you play week in, week out.

I've seen a few CFC fans suggest he shouldn't be starting. I'd rather see Christensen take up Cahill's spot, honestly. Christensen - Luiz - Azpi is a very nice back 3. Van Dijk doesn't improve on it imo. We should be looking at a top left footed CB if we wanted to improve at CB - someone like Laporte or Romagnoli would be a much better buy than Van Dijk.

They won't trash the Godenzonen. Ajax are my hometown team so I watch them all the time - the progress made this season has been remarkable. Totaalvoetbal is back, Bosz has done a magnificent job, and honestly, with how free scoring Ajax are, and how much United struggle against high pressing teams... Ajax have a chance. Naturally I'm backing them, but you can't ignore United's individual quality. A win for Ajax is a win for football though (gosh, never thought I'd say that given people always say it against Chelsea). Let's all be Ajacieden for a day and hope that United collapse.

He's a good player. Wonder how he'd have developed with more regular game time here. Love how proactive he is in getting the ball forward. He also needs to get that confidence he had in the final third at youth level back - he's definitely good enough to stick around next year.

It's time for people to respect Azpi more. People want to replace him with Van Dijk? Why? Azpi is actually the better pure defender. All VVD has over him is physicality - Azpi never gets dominated physically anyway because he's such a good defender. People just don't want to imagine him starting in that RCB role because it's unconventional. So what? He's still outstanding there. I think he deserves to have a chance there next season for the CL. If there's any guy you shouldn't doubt, it's Azpi.

He'll play either way. First guy you call on is Cesc. I hope he embraces this role - his time on the pitch since January hasn't been too bad.

Naturally you'll get more assists from WB. Azpi has a decent cross on him so that's normal. I think Moses is much better at 1v1s, and I think 1v1 ability is essential for any one that plays at WB for us. Wouldn't be satisfied with him playing there tbh. He's much better in that RCB role.
