Most of what you've said is sensationalised. Ramires is not being kept on the wing, all EN said was that he plays there because it bring balance to the side. Doesn't automatically mean he'll play there forever. In the interview he actually said that now that Lampard's getting old he should understand that he won't start every game. He also said that Oscar has the capability to play in the pivot perfectly fine, he just isn't ready yet completely. All he said was that he's more natural in the number 10 and number 7 position, doesn't mean that he'll only play there. Why do people view everything in a cynical way?

Even the Ramires thing. Doesn't mean that Ramires is seen as a winger, he just plays there because he's capable to provide a nice balance to the side due to the fact that the front three of Mata, Hazard and Torres do not track back a lot. It's the same with Bertrand. Is he a winger now he's played there for the majority of the (short) season? Of course he isn't. Granted both Ramires and Ivanovic haven't exactly had stellar starts to the season but that doesn't mean they should be shoved aside after a handful of games. I don't have a problem with them starting. It's the start of the season. If it's 10-15 games into the season and still they aren't performing up to scratch then by all means yeah, drop them. There's no need to do that just yet though.

I think people are overreacting a little. Nowhere did EN say that Ivanovic wouldn't be dropped if he had shocker after shocker. It's only the start of the season, Azpilicueta still has to integrate into the squad. Just because EN said he was brought in as a squad player doesn't mean Ivanovic is untouchable.

I think if Luiz sharpens up his English he'd be a good candidate too.
