  1. He was solid, but wasn't really tested against Liverpool anyway. Good for him, hope he carries on progressing.
  2. Again as I said before, that has to do with their forward lines being a lot more experienced and mature than ours. RVP, Rooney, Valencia and Young are a lot more experienced than our three maestros. So is a forward line of Silva, Tevez, Nasri etc. That's the difference really.
  3. That had more to do with Liverpool being galvanised because of their equaliser and Rodgers changing the tactics. I do agree that he was the best forward though, always tried to get us going, unfortunately not everyone was on his wavelength.
  4. And we weren't up to scratch today. It happens - we're in a bit of a slump and sometimes things don't go your way, exactly what happened today.
  5. Why the hell are you looking for your DM to score goals? That's ridiculous.
  6. At least Hernandez gets a half or 30 minutes, unlike Sturridge who gets 5 minutes at the end. Parallel worlds really. We don't need to sign two strikers at all.
  7. Yes, that's all I'm asking for too, as long as we keep up well with the Manchester teams I'd say we've been successful in the league, but they're both a lot more mature than our team. Our sides in transition, so we are going to have results like these.
  8. This is a realistic expectation. Anyone expecting us to win the league is quite naive.
  9. RDM wasn't at fault too much, the boys couldn't finish today and let in a weak goal. I'm laughing at Liverpool fans who are celebrating this like its a victory. This reaffirms that we need someone lethal up front. I've had it with FT. He didn't have a bad game to be honest but Torres doesn't cut it, he's shown nought that he can lead the forward line effectively, and Sturridge doesn't get games. I wasn't expecting us to win the league anyway, so I don't want us to get a new striker in January just in vain, unless a top quality one is available at a decent price. It's always bad when a draw feels like a loss. Hope RDM sorts the minor details out soon. Hope JT's alright too - look how much better we looked like as a team when he was on. We need to pick up 3 points in the league ASAP.
  10. Wow, if Hoddle says it it must be true! Come on dude...
  11. Wtf? Cahill has played about 5/6 games in a row. How does Robbie hate him? Don't be so ridiculous. Interesting defence today though. Buzzing for Azpilicueta.
  12. People don't have the patience for Danny, they've already written him off after aroun 150 mins of football - but like you said... We'd have to sell Torres before bringing in another striker of his supposed calibre. I'd love a strike force next season of Cavani - Sturridge - Lukaku or even Jovetic - Sturridge - Lukaku or Falcao perhaps. I think that's enough.
  13. Again I ask, what role will Fellaini play for the team?
  14. Jovetic would fit in quite nicely as well. He can finish excellently, is very intelligent in his play and would be able to interchange with the OHM trio easily. He's young too. Someone like him who has the potential to be world class, and the potential to grow with OHM would be top of my list.
  15. Huntelaar? He would be such a backwards signing.
  16. I was reading this article the other day, and I think Mata created a chance every 21 minutes whilst Silva was around 24 last season.
  17. Yes we can still win the title, but it's naive to think we definitely will, I still believe we'll finish 3rd due to us being a side in transition. We're building for the future, and as long as we give it a valiant effort this season I'll be happy.
  18. If worst gets to worst, I'd rather much we recall Lukaku. No need to buy another striker just yet IMO. We still haven't seen Sturridge given a prolonged run in the team so I'd rather take my chances in January (unless the opportunity to get like a Cavani arrives at a decent price in January which is very unlikely) so that in the summer we're in a prime position to get a better striker than Torres and possibly offload Torres as well if we need to. Remember, we're a squad in transition still, there is no need to rush our decisions. If we sign Bony in January we're with him for a long time because he's young and we aren't a selling club - barring something unnatural happens of course. Maybe during that time he'll develop into one of the supreme strikers in the world but my gut feeling tells me there'll probably be better options around.
