  1. Lukaku is the Lebron James of football
  2. I don't think we'll simply forget about Sturridge. Personally I would've loved to see us going into next season with Sturridge, Lukaku and Ba, would've been a nice, versatile, young strike force. Sturridge is making a name for himself, and with this Suarez ban he'll definitely solidify himself as one of the premier strikers in the league in my opinion. He's a good striker with a bright future ahead of him.
  3. Lol! You know what I meant Sir Trollington! Literally living up to your name
  4. We win tomorrow and against Spurs and top 4 is ours I reckon.
  5. Because we made a mistake? He's only going to get better, and it's our fault for letting him go. Anyway, delighted that Spurs drew against Wigan. Big opportunity tomorrow to go 3 pts ahead of them now. If we manage to win the Spurs game (which I will be going to btw ) as well as tomorrow's game I think top 4's ours.
  6. Guys, I hate to go all mod on you but this is the Neymar thread, if you have personal issues please resort to the PM system. My view on Neymar is reserved. I won't really rate how good/bad he is until he comes to Europe where I can watch him regularly enough to pass a judgment. Barcelona's the ideal club for him to go to - will he make the transition from an above average league to a top league? We'll just have to wait and see. Until then, I'm not involving myself in the business of stating whether Neymar will be world class or not.
  7. Well... It's a bit too early to call. Gullit was physically a monster. Aké has similar versatility but if there was any player you could compare Gullit in his prime to right now it'd be Yaya Toure. Aké isn't like him simply because he's not as athletic/physical and also not as technically outstanding. Aké is still a very rough diamond so it'll be interesting to see what sort of player he'll develop into - my bet though is that he'll be Makelele-esque, maybe Mascherano-esque but that's just a wild guess. As I said, we'll see. It'll be very interesting to see what sort of player he turns out to be.
  8. So Hull have Cardiff in their last game of the season. Hopefully Cardiff produce a draw against them and Watford beat Leeds to clinch automatic promotion. Really want to see Nathaniel at Watford in the PL next season, would be absolutely ideal. Come on Watford!
  9. It really is sad, I always got shot down for saying Sturridge was good enough to be our second choice striker but yeah, gutted he's left us still. Don't blame him though, good move for his own career. If Torres wasn't here Danny could've been a very important player for us by now.
  10. I never said Bild aren't reliable or reliable to begin with. Was just posting what I've seen.
  11. Accordingly Moutinho's available for around £20m though which would make it a reasonable transfer!
  12. Daniel Sturridge has now scored as many goals as Fernando Torres in the PL.
  13. Piazon before Oscar? Schurrle before Robben? Fellaini + Ramires pivot? Lampard & Essien who are most likely off? Ivanovic ahead of Azpilicueta? Lukaku as third choice?
  14. Something you not telling us Hutch?
  15. Yeah Mikel has had a string of bad games but that doesn't mean we should completely write him off. He can still do the job for us till the end of the season. No point in shifting your best defender into midfield IMO.
  16. Nevermind that it's the second time in his career that he's bitten someone...
  17. Not a dig at you but I hate this mentality. Why do people think it's illegal for a CB to have great technique or be creative? If anything it adds to the unpredictability of the team, which is great.
  18. Easy to say that now. Everyone knows Chalobah wouldn't have played 1/10th of the games he's played at Watford if he was here.
  19. Yeah I was saying this as well. Ah well! I'd like Zola to give Chalobah more of a free role in the second half.
  20. it was a brilliant goal but don't get carried away now. Him scoring that goal doesn't justify that he should be in our starting XI.
