I love this team. I love how we calmly slotted two of our starters out for players of pretty much equal quality (Willian & Azpi for Schurrle & Luis).

That's only because of the reckless system Arsenal play, their CBs are exposed all the time and Koscielny is forced to make these sort of challenges in the box all the time. When he has Mertesacker as a partner as well who practically has no pace, he has to cover that up most times by being the cover defender and that usually means he's the one making last ditch tackles. As said before, due to the volume and amount of times they both get exposed, it's kind of inevitable. Koscielny would be much better here at CFC under Jose, he's better than Cahill in almost everything for me.

Lille isn't really that viable of an analogy because Eden was by far the most talented in the team there, whilst here we have world class players in other positions. It's not the smartest thing to build your whole team around one player, especially at a leading club who have the financial muscle power to be amongst the best in the world and huge aspirations such as our selves. In Eden we have an absolute gem. We still need a cohesive structure though as a top, top team - in essence we have a golden crown and Eden is the main, most attractive gem on it. I think the current system is fine for Eden, as I said before he still has the most freedom in the team.

In my opinion the team is already pretty much built around Eden, he is the player with the most freedom to express theirselves in the team.

Yeah, me too. Never wanted him to begin with but he was signed so I supported. However, I'd much rather his spot in the squad went to someone like Boga.

I was reading it and I saw DF's point. His point was that it's much better to have a WC player like Reus in the squad instead of wasting a non HG spot on Salah who doesn't even play, and I fully agree with that.

Reus is still one of the best players in the world, your argument doesn't really add up tbh. 100% would I sell Salah if we could get a WC non HG player in at our RW.
