Because RLC has a higher ceiling. Ake can turn into a very good squad player for us though, whereas RLC, if he develops IMO can be a special player, influential player on both sides of the pitch.

I actually think Solanke has much better technique and vision than Izzy and is just a better footballer in general.

If he trains well I think he'll surprise a few on here.A midfield 3 of Chalobah, Ward-Prowse and RLC would be very balanced and interesting.

Breaking through to the CFC first team and getting highly praised by Jose is no mean feat by itself.

Honestly speaking, I still rate Chalobah very highly, I'm really mad at how the club have treated his development.

Still think the kid has a future here and just hasn't been given a fair chance at all. He can at least do a job as a squad player IMO. His physique has matured loads, filled himself really well, and his tactical acumen is improving. Wish Jose gave him a chance.

Musonda maybe but Boga has a great physique and loads of power in his legs. It doesn't have much to do with that.

Cuadrado yes, Sterling no. Sterling is already on Dede's level but has the scope to get much much better. Raw and natural ability is a lot better than Dede's.

Not good enough sorry (for us anyway). This is coming from a Ghanaian who's followed his career avidly. Maybe as a squad player max. We've got a player that's so much better than Dede in his position anyway (Eden).

I would say Willian has excellent balance, control of the ball and speed/acceleration. What he lacks though is obviously that killer instinct. Sterling has shown flashes of that though. He's only 20 and will improve a lot under Jose in my mind.

Cech also had a super defence in front of him in Gallas, JT, Carvalho, A. Cole, Paulo etc.

Because he's built up his reputation. Give Tibo some time and he'll get the same.

One thing I will agree on is Ake's future at LB though. I think he can easily provide us a good squad rotation option there - especially is Luis is going. If not he should definitely go out on loan to a PL club where he'll get all the game time in the world. He's a good player already, interesting to see how he'll develop with regular game time.
