Unbelievable how City always gets best possible draw in domestic cups, CL group stage for years now! I agree with both of you. Our goal is to be best team so I cannot see Barkley as a starter in this team. But as a squad player he is great. What is the purpose of squad player? To do a job in cup games and to step up when we have injuries/rotation. Barkley has 3 goals and 1 assist on 4 FA cup games. Probably our best player in cup so far. Also he did great job in the PL in all his starts lately. Spurs, Everton (3 assists in 2 games), City (good game defensively). So if we look at him as just a squad player we cannot really complain.

4 goals and 4 assists this season in 1277 minutes. Not bad stats. Mount has 6 and 4 with over 3000 minutes. Game winner today, started in wins against City, Liverpool, Everton, Spurs and played good games. UTD in first round and Bayern aside where he was played out of position and we never had a chance we won all the games this season when he started. Plus draw against Sheffield. We can say what we want about him but these are all facts.

We activated his clause before signing Kepa. He did not want to come. Our last 6 signings: Jorginho, Kepa, Pulisic, Kovacic, Ziyech and Werner. Wow! This is better on paper than early Roman days. Just imagine Oblak there for Kepa. No one can complain about our ambition.

Yep in this climate he is not going anywhere. Still not sure we will go for him next summer. How much he would cost with one year left on contract? If Puli establish himself next season as starting LW and Ziyech plays better as AM than maybe we go for him...

He made many mistakes this season. Just look at his mistake against Liverpool this season. Kepa never did anything like that. If people think him or Onana are upgrade than i dont know...
