  1. I don't see anything drastically different personally, other than hoofing it when needed. Nothing more than an improvement in performances given the new manager bounce. I still see the same lethargic intensity in matches, needless possession and zero ideas up front. It's a calamity how much we suffer when James is out of the squad, and given our investment and the quality we do have it is essentially why I am demanding improvement from Potter. We cannot be this one dimensional.
  2. A period of winnable fixtures and fortunate circumstances (injury stricken Wolves and Milan, Tomori sending off and Kepa saving our arse twice). Saturday is the real test.
  3. Losing James should not have us become this fucking poor. Ridiculous how one dimensional we are. Potter better fix it up.
  4. Scenes if Havertz is in the starting XI on Saturday against United.
  5. Had chances to win it in the second but didn’t take them. God help Potter if he starts Havertz again.
  6. Brentford are the type of opposition where we can't experiment. Congest the middle and have a high pressing forward line.
  7. So people are now pretending Zouma wasn't an absolute calamity when he was pressed.
  8. Doesn't Bellingham have actual creative metrics? Something neither Kova or Ruben have in their locker? Also if you are talking about a #6, that isn't Rice.
  9. The issue is that we have an abundance of midfielders that offer the same thing in Kante, Kovacic, Ruben, and Zakaria. All of which are ball carriers that offer nothing in the final third in terms of creativity or goal threat. I'd keep Kova and Ruben as squad players next season, but we genuinely need two massive upgrades in the summer, arguably three. A profile that offers creativity and one that offers defensive cover is a must.
  10. They can't do that or they will have to pay us even more. They are skint as it is.
  11. But we've already seen with Potter that we move the ball more directly and aren't afraid to have more bodies in the box. Tuchel's issue was his inability to improve our attacking play and attacking players, hence why we relied almost everything on our wingbacks. His possession play hindered our attacking players. We should not be over relying on James as we had done with Tuchel.
  12. I suspect if there is a game to rest him, its this one. 4 matches in 12 days is brutal for him.
  13. Sorry but if Potter is like Tuchel and only has our attacking threat come from the wingbacks then what is the point? James being out shouldn't be an excuse, no matter how important he is.
  14. Yeah would love to see something like that. (Although I think Broja could do some real harm against Brentford's line) Then this against United on Saturday. Kepa Chalobah Silva Koulibaly RLC Jorginho Kovacic Chilwell Mount Aubameyang Sterling
  15. I’d switch Cucu and Chilwell then take Chilwell off for Koulibaly. Jorginho for Havertz.
