  1. The fans will give Lampard time/will respect him is the most absurd argument I've ever heard. I remember when Lampard went to City and when he scored against us. The resentment and bashing he received because of it. We are some of the most impatient fans out there, and you cannot, convince me otherwise our fans won't be just as merciless if results don't go our way. I'm sick and tired of hearing all of this conjecture about Lampard. He will have time. He will be respected. I will believe it when I see it. Far as I'm concerned, the moment things go south, (which I reckon will be rather quick given he is no way qualified), the same bell-ends that were so quick to be in favor for Lampard, will be the first to turn on him.
  2. I really wish we could question the appointment. Honestly. Want someone to ask Buck "What makes you think a manager, who in his first year took one of the best squads in the championship yet finished 6th, is capable of managing Chelsea Football Club? Please explain your rationale"
  3. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. His football is outdated. His negative tactics will hold us back and his toxic nature will put another black cloud over the club. This team is worse than our 2016 team that had us finish 10th under him, and you want him to manage this?
  4. Even more worrying there are fans that actually want Mourinho back.... Just....wow
  5. I would take Zola over Mourinho. Matter of fact I would take Kepa over Mourinho
  6. After checking, there are only two ways of resigning. Mutual consent, or a club buying you out of your current contract. I still find it hard seeing Marina doing the former.
  7. I smell bull shit. Marina, of all people, agreeing for no compensation? A highly valuable manager we broke our back for last summer? We rejected a 60 million bid for Willian for goodness sake.
  8. Something isn't adding up. DiMarzio is reporting that this deal will not compensate us in any way. And that is merely on the basis of the 'great relationship' between Juventus and Chelsea. A. Great Relationship? What the fuck has Juve ever done for us? Yeah Cheers for Alex Sandro you fucking mugs. B. Marina, one of the best negotiators around, is willing to let Sarri, a highly valuable manager, one we broke our back for last summer, just merely go for free?
  9. This City side will be regarded one of, if not the best footballing sides the Premier league has ever seen. They've smashed every record available. This success is predominantly down to having a vision. Txiki came in 2012, and since then it's been attacking/progressive football. City have never been out of the top 4 since. Liverpool look to be following the same principle and it's showed massively these past two years. We jump from one philosophy to the next, which in turn yo-yo's us from contenders to mid table. Instead of building upon what we start, we abandon it for something new. Back to square one. Short term thinkning. This City side and Liverpool both finished at almost 100 points, there is no way we can just switch philosophies again and expect to catch them. You are naive to think so. No. The most efficient thing to do is to appoint another progressive manager.
  10. Allegri? We've just endured a year of progressive football, and you want us to go back to pragmatic football? There is a reason City is lightyears ahead of us. They have a clear identity and vision, they aren't jumping from one philosophy to the next. Going back to square one season after season. I'd rather Lampard or Jardim. At least they can take over what Sarri started.
  11. Maybe. But the fact we are so apparently keen on letting him go, begs answers. Yet again, us fans are in the dark. Chelsea Football Club
  12. Still doesn't make any sense. Less than 24 hours ago Sarri said he deserved to stay with us and gave reasons why he likes the premier league. Now reports are saying his head is turned? Mind boggling.
  13. We wouldn't of supposedly agreed to let him go without anyone confirmed coming in. So it has to be Lampard Shocking. Truly is.
  14. If anything he'd be wanting reassurance. How on earth does this board expect anything next season?
  15. This is a man who a year ago said he doesn't give a fuck about the transfer market. I won't believe anything from these journalists.
  16. Yet this was posted just 2 hours earlier
  17. We will realistically need 2 years of proper investment and understanding of this attacking system before we can compete against the likes of City and Liverpool. We are a cup team for now.
  18. The point is he is invested in this club. Always has and always will. The argument that he isn't is absurd, especially when you see those tables above. If reports are true, Cech coming in will limit Marina's role.
  19. So he decides who we buy? He provides the investment. That's it. We spent the most last summer out of any English club, bar Liverpool maybe. In Europe, we are easily top 5 the past several years. Also, before someone says, 'Our spending is based on our operations now',
  20. We will turn it down like Willian
  21. He just said he deserves to stay here and wants to be here for the duration of his contract. Can only hope that's the case where then Lampard, who hopefully will be ready, takes over.
