  1. Not to worry, we have CHO, Kante, Kovacic, Ziyech, and Werner to blow counter attacks for him. 👍
  2. Ziyech being the common denominator...
  3. 9 open play goals in 15 games is a horrid return though.
  4. CHO/Havertz/Werner was the most fluid attack I've seen so far in this system. Kovacic needs to be in midfield however for that front three to work properly so Havertz doesn't have to drop too deep. I want to see more of that. Hopefully we do in these next run of PL games.
  5. Need to get Atletico out of our minds and worry about these next run of fixtures. Maximum points required.
  6. Havertz became more of a CM than false 9 the moment Mount came off given both Jorginho and Kante had no control in midfield. Think more needs to be spoken about those two instead of Chilwell. A team aspiring for top honors shouldn't have central midfielders with such blatant limitations.
  7. Can see why we are heavily linked to Kamara and/or Kessie. Jorginho and Kante just don't cut it. The former is slow and can't defend, whereas the latter doesn't have the technical ability you want in a elite team that plays progressive football.
  8. Our rivals have favorable games so have to hope they somehow drop points.
  9. THREE open players and not only did he choose the one not onsides, he fucked up the pass.
  10. Look at that fucking ball from Kante. Ive had it with the limitations our central midfielders have.
  11. Leeds resulting to Everton@Goodison tactics.
  12. Ziyech yet again the odd man out. Need more pace along side Havertz
  13. Jorginho is good at what he does. Retention. Putting himself into great positions and has a great understanding of where the ball needs to go next for transition. But what else? When you realise there are footballers who can offer that + defensive prowess, what is even the point of him?
  14. His constant movement is what gave Everton trouble, hence why if he were to play there, LW and RW must be quick and dynamic and to run through channels.
  15. Giroud may be used here instead of Havertz to expose Leeds weakness at set pieces.
  16. No way we let go of both Giroud and Tammy without bringing a CF in. So at the very least, it's 6. CHO looked great at LW against Everton also, so he is still going to be considered an option there. That is still 7 players for 3 spots. Sustainable? No way. The dressing room will be chaotic. Konate has had two lengthy spells both from the same hip injury. A year off of football rehabilitating, he hasn't had any issue. He was only out this season due to an ankle sprain. This isn't Pulisic we are talking about where he is getting injuries left and right from all different muscular imbalances. He's worth the risk, IMO. He wouldn't be displacing Christensen, he'd be displacing Zouma. It's not about giving up control, its about controlling the game whilst still getting the best out of our attackers, which this current system doesn't do. I'm not saying making changes now, I'm all for sticking with it to secure Top 4, go far in Europe and potentially win the FA Cup because it A, works, and B, it is still progressive football. My point is that as tactically flexible as Tuchel is, he definitely wants to experiment with other formations that get the best out of his attackers, as he has done so in the past. Rudiger/Zouma/Christensen are not top tier defenders for a back 4.
