  1. And there lies the brilliance of this system. It allows Rudiger to cover that right side.
  2. He's very technical. My only concern is how is he in tight spaces, because the Bundesliga is a very counter attack/direct paced league. There's lots of space to operate. He will get nothing here in England and you can already see how both Werner and Havertz are slowly adapting.
  3. Chilwell makes sense because AWB won't do a bloody thing against us that right side. We can afford to leave open space for Chilwell to push up.
  4. Salah, Mane, Firmino, Mbappe, Neymar, and Cavani would be nothing without their midfield press. How many goals have Liverpool and PSG scored alone because of the intensity of their press? Not only that, how many goals have they scored because of their quick transitional play? Again, no one is asking Mount to spearhead our attack. He is however an important clog in how our midfield operates. The same Wijnaldum that scored 56 goals in 4 seasons for PSV? Being coincidentally dropped deeper the moment he moved to England? Aye, I don't want Mount spearheading our attack, but what choice do we have when Pulisic, Havertz, and Ziyech aren't delivering? I hope we steer away from the 343 once the team is comfortable enough to do so. Mount would be ideal in a 433 or 442 at central midfield. When you look at Tuchel's tactical flexibility, you can definitely see how Mount could become crucial for us. Dortmund 4-2-3-1 = 24 4-1-4-1 = 15 3-4-3 = 13 4-3-3 = 6 3-1-4-2 = 5 PSG 4-3-3 = 26 4-4-2 = 14 4-2-2-2 = 10 4-2-3-1 = 8 3-5-2 = 7 Again, how is it Mount's fault that neither Ziyech nor Havertz are performing? What have either of them done to merit themselves starting over Mount who's arguably been the best performer under Tuchel so far? Believe me, I want them to start to but we are genuinely risking both our press and intensity when we lose Mount in favor of them.
  5. When will you comprehend Mount is not an attacking mid? The fact he's playing there just highlights the fact Ziyech and Havertz aren't in form. Mount is being favored by Tuchel the very same reason why Klopp has instilled all his trust in Wijnaldum. He's an engine, moves the ball quickly, and covers a lot of ground essential to pressing. I suppose Wijnaldum isn't good enough for Liverpool who was only instrumental in helping Liverpool win the league and Champions league.
  6. I love how you downplayed Mount's goals by his lack of goals scored against top opposition whilst at the same time praising Havertz, RLC, and Barkley for better goals to games ratio when the toughest opposition they scored against were Saints (Havertz), Frankfurt (Ruben) and Liverpool's B team in the FA Cup (Barkley). Your agenda continues to shine through. 😂 It's evident Mount shouldn't be spearheading our attack. He should be playing beneath Ziyech or Havertz.
  7. Our accounting team is essentially why we aren't under the microscope for FFP. With sponsorship deals and the massive revenue the premier league brings, not to mention Roman's investment, I can realistically see us being after him. Literally another Eden Hazard scenario. Think it will be between us, United, and City.
  8. If he's contempt with being a Welbeck esq back up player, then I see no harm in keeping him?
  9. As much as we slate Rudiger, he's doing two jobs. Covering his space along with Alonso's. Think he's been fine so far. Sweeper role definitely made for Christensen.
  10. Our season could well and truly end on a high should Havertz, Ziyech, and Pulisic pick up form.
  11. Atletico defender attempted to play the ball. So long if that happens, doesn't matter where Giroud was. He's onsides.
  12. Giroud playing it to Alonso instead of playing it back to Kovacic... Oh fuck off with this poor decision making
  13. Question is, is Ziyech ready to show up at all and/or is Havertz ready to match the pace of the game?
  14. Chilwell needs to come on. That left side can be caught
  15. Essentially why they aren’t technical players.
  16. Again, just no understanding with our front three. Giroud had a clear chance to switch it to CHO acres in space, plays it back to Mount already under pressure. This.
  17. Mount is a player that should play beneath Maddison, Grealish, and Foden. Again, if there is any player you can compare Mount to, its Gini Wijnaldum. You don't compare Wijnaldum to Bruno Fernandes.
  18. Unless he develops his game he shouldn't be the #10. Even under Lampard, I always stated Mount was a CM as his best attributes are his transitioning of the ball and pressing. He'd be great under Klopp. 😄
  19. We probably will. Tuchel is flexible with his tactics.
  20. IIRC Christensen had no trouble with him in 2018.
  21. Will undoubtedly turn into a gem for them.
  22. I think Christensen will do fine against Suarez. It's the physical strikers he does poor against. Felix I reckon will be made redundant, much like against Liverpool, as I can see Simeone sitting back vs wanting to take control as he most often does in Europe.
