  1. And what if Pulisic or Ziyech don't want to leave? We bought Pulisic for the potential of resale value. In this Covid climate, who's going to buy him for more than 60 million? Who's going to buy Ziyech for more than 40 million after a season? Make no mistake, I like Haaland. But I'd feel a lot more comfortable if the rumors this is purely a Roman buy would go away. Tuchel needs to want him also and have plans to utilise him. And I cannot see him utilising all of our attackers in this 3 at the back system.
  2. Haaland is purely Roman. From Tuchel's comments, its seems he'd rather build the attack around Werner and Havertz (which he should)
  3. I highly doubt neither Havertz nor Haaland will prefer playing second fiddle to the other 😂 This isn't FIFA. These are two generational talents we are talking about.
  4. IF there is truth to that there can't possibly be a way we can continue with the back 3. Haaland, Werner, Pulisic, Havertz, Ziyech, CHO, Mount, Giroud/Tammy. 8 players fighting for 3 spots.
  5. Shit winger. Average right back. Next
  6. I'd take Kessie. Good all around player that could complement Kovacic well in this current system.
  7. Doubt Milan have the funds to pay the 28 million buy out anyway. Just need to hope Tuchel speaks with Marina wanting Tomori at the club next season. Can go all out for a DM and ST with a backline consisting of Silva, Tomori, Christensen, Rudiger, and Dave.
  8. Watch him be England's #1 CB in a couple years time
  9. Should take care of this quite easily given they are 10 points away from saftey. Mendy Dave---Christensen---Rudiger CHO----------------------------------Chilwell Jorginho----Kovacic Ziyech----------Pulisic Giroud
  10. Yeah thought he did well yesterday too. That touch to control the ball in the second half after the Sheffield United mistake was sublime. It appears our attackers are now picking up form at a pivotal part of our season. Just fingers crossed, knock on wood, pray to Allah no injuries in the international break.
  11. We shouldn't take Porto lightly but I feel neither Tuchel or the players will. They know the golden opportunity that was given to them. Christ, could this be 2012 all over again?
  12. Willy? Who else has a personal relationship with Aguero/Dybala? God what a sad bloke if they just conjured that up.
  13. I'm not saying we should sacrifice our entire game plan for Emerson 😄. I'm saying if we do find ourselves in situations where we need to protect a lead, it would be better to have the wingers play in traditional roles vs inverted ones to pull off shots quicker when we do catch opposition off the break. The only role I can see of use for Emerson.
  14. I think when setting up mainly to counter, our wingers should be playing on the side of their stronger foot. We catch teams on the break, the wingers can get their shot away faster vs having to cut in before doing so.
  15. City vs Bayern Liverpool vs PSG Dortmund vs Real Porto vs Chelsea 😇
  16. Thing is, he would come in handy at LF in certain situations. Last night showed that if we are playing on the counter (2nd half), its best to have traditional wingers vs inverted ones. Look at the chance CHO blew away because he had to cut inside to his right. When Emerson was clean through, he immediately finished. Doubt he would want that role though.
  17. Probably our best chance to win silverware and this is probably the last game that has any meaning for Sheffield so I say no risks. Mendy James----Christensen---Rudiger CHO-----------Gilmour--------Kovacic----------Chilwell Mount------Pulisic Giroud
  18. It's beyond ridiculous the runs that are getting ignored.
  19. This is going to look incredibly stupid if we win.
  20. Decent XI. Zouma definitely a cause for worry. Hoping Suarez doesn't wreck him positionally.
  21. Aye I think if it does go to a bidding war, we may have the advantage (should we accomplish those things you mentioned). Can't recall the last time City were in a bidding war. Hazard? They also didn't want to pay his wages.
