  1. The good news is that our chance creation is slowly getting better since Tuchel first arrived. Our team dynamic in attack is finally building an understanding. There are still issues however, as last night Kante missed a glorious through ball to Werner that would've had him one on one with Allison, and then Mount again in the 2nd half missing another through ball to Werner and instead played it wide. Hopefully this gets analyzed and sorted fully. Just pick your damn head up lads.
  2. @Jason Must of been a breath of fresh air for you seeing Jorginho finally playing lobbed passes to Werner.
  3. Right but I'm not going to pretend Andreas is all of a sudden ridden of his defensive liabilities. We saw the same thing under Conte with these defenders + David Luiz. It protects them immensely. We still need another elite CB to partner Silva once Tuchel starts playing a back 4 again. Zouma does look likely the one to be sent off.
  4. Biggest difference for me was both Jorginho and Kante making space for themselves to receive a pass from the back line. Small but very crucial patterns of play implemented since Tuchel arrived. we were all worried that this wouldn't work under Liverpool's press, but we managed to get by even without Kovacic. This was virtually non existent under Lampard.
  5. Let's not get too overboard. We saw the same thing under Conte. Dave, Rudiger, Christensen, and Alonso have probably benefited the most in this change of system. Play those same defenders in a back 4, they will go from looking like Ferrari's to Ford KA's
  6. Quite confident about this. We naïvely played into their hands the first fixture. Tuchel has brought control within the team again and I can't honestly see Everton getting a sniff. Just a matter of if we convert our chances.
  7. We will. Our system can be found out inevitably. Great thing about Tuchel is how flexible he is.
  8. Yup. Time to see what kind of manager Tuchel is. Continue to exploit it, or sit back and inevitably invite pressure and concede.
  9. Watch Liverpool get a result from an absolute wonder strike after we are seemingly in the game. Swear its been the case for the past 4 or 5 years every season.
  10. We'll see. Under Tuchel so far, there's been clear patterns of play with regards to transition. I'm curious to see how we cope against Liverpool's press.
  11. If there was any game for Ziyech to step up, it be today. Jorginho in midfield concerning.
  12. Yeah I'd say CB and DM the only priorities.
  13. Doubtful. He'll always opt for three holding/defensive midfielders.
  14. Werner/Havertz/Pulisic probably our best front three if all were in form.
  15. Sorry, are we to assume the article is credible when they've listed United as a step up, but not us? The same United that's heavily reliant on one footballer, that's in the Europa league, hasn't won anything since 2017, and under a manager that has a piss poor record in Europe?
  16. Agreed. He was slowly suffering the Oscar syndrome. People backed Oscar's poor performances and inconsistencies on his brace against Juventus. Similar to Ruben with his performance against City in the EFL Cup final and goals against mid table/Europa league standard clubs in 2019. He lacks that mental grit and aggressiveness you want in a player.
  17. Some comments from Fulham fans recently: "Scott Parker seems to like him and believes in him, but I haven't seen anything that makes him stand out as being that good. I can count on one hand the number of decent performances he has had for Fulham. Doesn't create or score goals, has missed numerous chances in front of goal. i was expecting after the praise he got from Palace fans and performances for England U23 to be a lot better than he has been. At present out of our loan signings he is probably one that I would not try to sign permanently." "There’s a player in there tbf but he’s been too inconsistent and let games drift by him too often for my liking personally."
  18. So that's Silva out again. Hopefully Christensen continues his form. Kante+Kovacic definitely the midfield pairing.
  19. Fulham fans don’t even want to sign him permanently. 23 appearances, 1 goal and 0 assists. Think he’s finished.
