The only player I'd say is protected is Neymar given he mastered the flop. Ronaldo spent 6 years in the Prem and cut the diving when he realised he wasn't getting calls. Also, watch virtually any Messi compilation vs a club on YouTube and you can see he gets hacked down occasionally. Hazard never took care of himself and there are virtually a handful of players, coaches, and manager explaining his poor work ethic.

If I were Werner I'd try and man the fuck up and start taking the penalties. Don't understand how he expects to get out of the slump when he doesn't regularly see his end product hit he back of the net. At the very least try and do it with penalties. His record is fairly good too.

Thought it looked pretty good against Everton. If anything, without Mount we lose a lot of control in midfield given Jorginho and Kante's limitations. That's why if Mount isn't in the team, Kovacic should be.

Looking nervous is one thing, being bang average positionally and a poor reader of the game, consistently, is another. Bar Silva, virtually every one of our CB's are another Cahill. They need a elite/leader next to them without looking completely lost in a back 4.

Probably deserved. He's a clown in a back 4, but in this system he's looked relatively solid. Especially considering he has to also cover the space both Alonso and Chilwell leave behind. Still need a top CB in regardless.

You don't think the comments writing him off completely aren't OTT? A based on the other options... Alex Telles can't get game time over Shaw. Also hearing Telles offers nothing defensively. Tagliafico should now be considered a massive risk given how poor Eredivisie players have looked since leaving Ajax. Regulion has look good but one needs to question how he'd look under a more progressive team and how he'd fair defensively.

During those 5 games Leicester - United, City, West Ham West Ham - United, Arsenal, Wolves, Leicester Everton - Arsenal, Spurs Spurs - United, Everton All four of them are likely to drop points, some guaranteed considering they are facing each other, during our 5 game winnable stretch. We get maximum points, we could find ourselves in a great position before City, Arsenal, and Leicester.

It is still very much in our hands. West Brom, Palace, Brighton, West Ham, and Fulham. Should be getting 13-15 points maximum.

Not to worry, we have CHO, Kante, Kovacic, Ziyech, and Werner to blow counter attacks for him. 👍

CHO/Havertz/Werner was the most fluid attack I've seen so far in this system. Kovacic needs to be in midfield however for that front three to work properly so Havertz doesn't have to drop too deep. I want to see more of that. Hopefully we do in these next run of PL games.

Havertz became more of a CM than false 9 the moment Mount came off given both Jorginho and Kante had no control in midfield. Think more needs to be spoken about those two instead of Chilwell. A team aspiring for top honors shouldn't have central midfielders with such blatant limitations.
