Yes. He is that rigid. Which is why if Kante cannot adapt (the jury is still out) he will be one the millstones that sinks the SS Sarri if he keeps trying to force a square peg into a round hole.

Wolves were just ROBBED of a goal, top 5 worst offsides calls of EPL season so far. FFS!!!

We are in the process of locking in sub-standard players for years. There is no way to put a happy face on that. I will recant ALL of this when we have signed a great CF, bought Kovacic on per (or an acceptable replacement, (of which I have listed every single one in a previous post), bought a WC CB, and also a WC RW. That is me being generous as fuck, as I didn't even touch upon other weaknesses at all. There is simply zero chance we thrive over the next 3 years with Morata, Luiz, no true great CMF (if Kova leaves), and Willian as starters. NONE

This is not “Sarriball” https://chelseafancast.com/2018/11/this-is-not-sarriball/ Or Sarrismo. Or whatever new fad word Chelsea supporters are using these days to describe this new found attacking football the club are playing. We have played 10 league games and haven’t lost any on the way to 24 points out of a possible 30. We have seen our beloved Chelsea Football Club score some fantastic goals and we are excited by what the future may bring. But, this is not the high flying, Guardiola praising, taking Serie A by storm Sarriball that we all heard so much about this summer. I was excited when Maurizio Sarri took over at the club. I was frustrated like many supporters in years past when we used negative tactics in so many big matches. I was downright giddy when I saw the way we played against Liverpool in the league, even though we didn’t win. We played to win. Which to me was almost as important as winning. It showed that, even though Sarri might not think the players are 100% comfortable with the implementation of his style, we were not going to let the opposition dictate the game to us. But, this is not the Sarriball that we all heard so much about this summer. The style of football we are currently playing is closer the Guardiola’s Barca’s sides than what Sarri did with Napoli the past 2 seasons. Sarri’s tactics at Napoli involved quick, decisive passes in between the lines to expose the defenses in Italy. He used the quickness and agility of Insigne, Callejon and Mertens to great effect in wreaking havoc on Serie A leading to a second place finish on 95 points while scoring 77 goals in 38 matches averaging over 2 goals per match. There are similarities in the style Chelsea are currently playing and Sarri’s Napoli. Like the high pressing, triangular passing angles and, most importantly, Jorginho. The Brazilian-Italian Midfielder was at the heart of what Sarri’s Napoli was able to do in Serie A and it was a major coup when Chelsea were able to bring him to Stamford Bridge over their Premier League rivals Manchester City. Jorginho is constantly directing play while on the pitch. He doesn’t do so with flashy dribbling or flair. He does it with seemingly constant communication with his teammates and effective passes. Telling his teammates where the ball should be played or where the proper space to move into is on the pitch. His passing is instinctive and he is always looking to play the ball between the lines of the opponent, but he will play the simple pass if that is his option. Jorginho’s main role as the deep lying playmaker is to keep the play moving and he does so with ease. He does not hold the ball to slow down the tempo, he quickly cycles the ball throughout the pitch to keep the opposition moving. I have come up with a nickname for our number 5 and it’s “Mr. One-touch.” Keep it going, tell your friends. Snip

I agree, unfortunately.

Fucking Victimpool, Milner, grrrrrr. Cunt
-
Lamps is a total class act. The rest of my life I will judge all MFers against him. Almost all will not measure up. There are zero in today's game who I rate over him in his peak years.

OMG, we were in a pub eating and watching those cunts. Damn near threw my wine glass, grrrrrrrrrr.

Have you not seen what is happening? Kovavcic will be allowed to return to RM with no offer from us to buy, CAHILL was made captain so is going nowhere, and Alonso, Willian, Luiz and Cesc are all being offered extensions, none of thsoe are good enough, they all are either too old , or are simply not remotely WC, We show zero initiative to sell deadwood, Bakayoko is worh SHIT now, so I doubt we even sell, Donkeywater is paid triple what his wages should be (maybe 4 times), no one will give decent money in fees if they have to pay the fucker close to 20m quid in wages for just 3 years., and zero initiate to play younger players, and CHO and AC will probably walk. I also see no striker coming in until summer, if at all. Hazard has us by the jacobs (if you are a boy) and by the fitta (if you are a girl). If he refuses to renew, we either sell him at a 100 million or so quid loss from true value, OR we just let him walk on a free in 19 or so months. So much other bad things building up too. You said Sarri gets the players he wants. Sarri got one player, Jorginho, who Napoli deemed surplus goods due to Ancelotti playing a different system. ALL his other wants were all fails. Like 7 or 8. He had nothing to do with Kepa. He said so himself. We shall see what happens but bad bad omens are everywhere. People are just have normalcy bias because we haven't lost a league game yet.
-
I rate him 2nd best in world, behind only Raphaël Varane. If I HAD to have a clean sheet and lost a man to a red, by far the first CB I would select would be Varane. I think he was the best player at the WC. That said, I would take Koulibaly for Sarriball. Main problem is his age. This is the last summer it makes an sense to pursue him (making 5 years in a row!) We will never get him, unfortunately fuck the Poison Dwarf
-
That is by far the main reason (unless he finally comes good in his new role) that I am still pretty hesitant to say sell him whilst we can get £135m plus. If we don't upgrade the club (and it certainly doesn't look like we are, it looks like we have decided on a lock-down for now, we shall see what happens in January but I have no realistic hopes, even on striker) Sarri will deffo get the sacking before 3 years are up. Most other managers use a DMF destroyer (or wish they had one!) Pep being a major exception.

Three Chelsea players named in Premier League team of the month

Literally insane that Wilian was picked over HAZARD!!! Bizarro World -
File this under pure tosh. We now are supposedly letting our best CMF go back to Real Madrid at seasons end, with the lame excuse being posited that Kovacic (who is being sort of played out of position) is somehow blocking our 2 AMFs (RLC and Barkley). So, instead of getting a replacement CMF we are supposed to believe that we are going ro drop around £60m plus on ANOTHER AMF, who freaked out Victimpool so much during his physical that they entirely binned the done deal! BOLLOCKS I say.
-
Oh, sorry, I misread, lol
-
Transfer ban their fucking arses! 2 years. And strip them of Europe for 2. Pep might walk!
-
You honestly think he is putting in world class performances in his Sarriball role? I love Kante, he is the best pure DMF destroyer in the world by miles, but his performances have been at times downright quotidian in his new position. Seems at times like we are using a half-stone sledgehammer to putt on the golf course at Tunbridge Wells.
-
SMDH. Unbelievably bad move. He is, at this point, utter shit. Anyone who doubts this, watch the last game v the Derby sheep shaggers. I can see a huge (and bad) pattern developing. I dont think we are bringing anyone in in January and I really dont see us selling anyone atm. Maybe Moses, but we will get fuckall for him. Cahill is obviously going nowhere now, and we soon renew Luiz, Willian, and Cesc (at reduced pay). Bakayoko and Drinkwater at this point are unsaleable due to poor performance (Bakayoko) and/or too high a contract (Donkeywater). I dont even think we make a move for striker, as no truly good targets are going to be available, or if so, they will be at a price the board will never pay. Same for winger, unless we do a move for the £33.8m Suso, which at this point would be very good business. Now, with with it sounding like Kovacic is being allowed to go back to RM, the squad is going to rapidly decline next year, certainly the year after, especially if Hazard leaves for a shit price and the money (plus a lot more net as we seem incapable of selling deadwood) is not well spent on an overhaul. The '6 max on loan' soon come new FIFA rule will finally force us to sell over the next 2 or 3 years, BUT the market will be incredibly flooded with other teams' castaways concurrently, so it's not like we will reap a huge net benefit, as we will also lose the revenue from at least 36 players' loan deals. It is, all in all, like watching a slow motion trainwreck due to another train approaching in the far distance, but at great speed and potential impact. This is not even counting the ongoing Abramovich dilemma, AC probably going full stop wantaway, and CHO contract renewal issues.
-
He is on verge of being unsaleable. Same for Drinkwater (unless we pay at least half his wages). What a fucking self-inflicted nightmare. £150m or so up in smoke on just those two donkeys counting wages, fees, insurance!

And now is officially our bloody captain, meaning he isn't going anywhere. Grrrrrrr FFS, other than our record, we are making some seriously bad fucking moves. -
More REALLY bad news I have no idea how this slipped under the radar. The FIFA Council a week ago fully endorsed a reform package that includes a maximum of only SIX players allowed out on loan (originally back a month plus ago some articles said it was eight, so it is even worse.) From what I gather, it will be phased in over a 2 year period following final overall approval. Bye bye loan army. FIFA Council makes key decisions for the future of football development (FIFA.com) 26 Oct 2018 http://www.fifa.com/about-fifa/news/y=2018/m=10/news=fifa-council-makes-key-decisions-for-the-future-of-football-development.html snip Football governance The members of the FIFA Council endorsed the reform package of the transfer system recently agreed by the FIFA Football Stakeholders Committee. This document lays out the fundamental principles of what will eventually become a set of concrete regulations to be drafted by the Task Force Transfer System in consultation with representatives from clubs (ECA), leagues (the World Leagues Forum), players (FIFPro) as well as member associations, confederations and the FIFA administration. The task force will provide an update of its work at the next Football Stakeholders Committee meeting in February 2019. Snip Here is the original reporting a month and a half ago FIFA's new loan rules could be disastrous for Chelsea with plans to stop clubs sending out more than eight players… Blues currently have FORTY scattered around the world Fifa to introduce new loan rules to prevent clubs like Chelsea stockpiling young talent as agent reforms fall flat https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/transfers-fifa-best-loans-chelsea-new-rules-agent-a8554976.html Fifa have suggested that clubs can only send six players on loan. Clearing up the transfer system has been high of Fifa president Gianni Infantino’s to-do list for some time and an end to clubs sending an unlimited number of players out on loan could be coming soon. Fifa have proposed that clubs can send a maximum of six players on loan to prevent sides stockpiling young talent. Snip The reform package will be delivered to the Fifa Council on 26 October during its next meeting and it is hoped that the new regulations are phased in over the next two years. “We have brought everyone to the table and all key actors of the industry have understood that we need to take action, leading today to this reform proposal,” said Infantino. Snip Shit, this looks like it really may go through
