  5. selling him is probably close to one of the least of my concerns, but this (Atalanta) is the team with the RB I would go for in terms of backup for Reece Azpi's legs a year from now in terms of EPL brutal pace place are going to be even worse dog help us if Reece gets hurt for any extending time starting next fall and going forward poor fullback play is the death of us in terms of going against the big boys I am sure we just wind Azpi down and lose him on a free in 2022 (he turns 33 in August of 2022) If we do the same with Alonso i am going to go bonkers, especially if we disastrously miss out on Chilwell (I think missing out on him is my number one fear for the summer, followed by Sancho and Werner, all 3 of whom are so FAR from certain deals for us, in fact the odds are stacked against us on all 3) it is insanity if we go with the same 4 fullbacks we have now for 2020-21 and 2021-22 as the only one I have a lick of confidence in is Reece, and he is, after all, still a teenager Emerson is a great backup, but hardly a world beater as a full time starter
  6. Atalanta only has 4 MFers (all positions) on their entire squad they have already strongly hinted they want to exercise the 15m euro buy option for Pasalic IF we sold Azpi in the summer, I would love to work out a swap plus cash for their RB, Timothy Castagne, toss them Pasalic plus 15m euros (13m quid) for him that is 30m euros worth of player and cash, for Castagne (26m quid) which is more than fair. An Azpi sale would basically cover it all (this coming summer is our last chance to get over £20m for him)
  7. that is him in a nutshell fall over fuck things up cry like a bish do wifey's hair for punishment
  8. and they raped us on both Cuntois and Eden (with a HUGE assist from Marina) for around £100-105m in sale price difference versus a year earlier sales price, plus tag on the £40m to £50m overpay for Kepa (versus buying Alisson or another decent keeper in summer 2017) and those cunts have cost us close to £150m (again with huge help from the board) in lost sales revenue. The true cherry on the bloody cake is when they offered £45m for Alonso and Marina told them £55m (or even £60m, I forget now) she could have settled for around £50m and we would be have been done with that cunt and a nice fat profit too. We will be lucky to get £30m now for the rotter.
  9. I never suggested we spend anywhere near to those levels in this thread. Especially those ludicrous 600/700m figures which is a spin up number that came from adding in a Rudiger and Kante sale that was only a one-off reply to another poster and was never included in my full accounting numbers. what I DID say as possible targets were (way back on this thread and I did pull off Ake, as if we only sell one CB, and buy one, he is not needed, and IF we did sell two CB's I would go for BOTH Konate and Romagnoli, as Ake is too short and not close to those two levels, as I also stated in another reply on this thread) Konate or Romagnoli £70m Chillwell £70m Declan Rice £70m (I say Camavinga for the future (Kante can so mentor him, as they are both French), or Thomas Partey (who is only £45m with his release clause) for NOW, but the club is hellbent on Rice, which remains to be seen who is right or wrong) Sancho £120m (he MAY be a wee bit cheaper, but I am show conservative numbers here to prove my point) Werner £25m (due to low release clause) TOTAL COST £345M LETS SAY I AM 10% UNDER-PRICING on the total l that leaves the total cost at £380m That is NOWHERE near 500/600/700 million quid also that includes a HUGE 120m quid buy of Sancho, and IF (which is more than likely, unfortunately) we fail on buying him, you can pull around 50m quid OFF those totals as I do not rate spending more than 70m quid on anyother winger (other than the pipe dream deluxe of Mbappe, which is never going to happen) so now, if no Sancho we are down to around £295m to £325m total spend, which even fits into Mr 'disappear £200m in revenues' kitty of 300m that also includes £70m spent on Declan Rice, which may not even happen this summer of 2020,and TBH I would so much rather (as stated before so many times) go for Camavinga instead, who I think can be had for (this is a really rough estimate) around £50m. Even WITH Sancho, the total then is only around £325 to £360m If no Sancho, then only £275m to £305m TOTAL SPEND. Finally IF we did buy Thomas for our hybrid CMF/DMF and passed on Rice and Camavinga, take another £5m OFF those figures even (as his release clause is only £45m) I NEVER said to spend 600, 700m on this thread, that is tosh. On some posts a longish time ago post (regarding Mbappe) I did show he COULD have been purchased (even at close to 275-300m or so) but that was before we lost even more revenue on non sales due to bans and possible contract wind-downs and the bdget was nowhere near 700m (and agin was all ZERO net spend when dealing with fees in and out). FINALLY Having went back and forth for weeks (and this is subject to change) I think we DO buy Chilwell (that is part of the good news) I do NOT think we will sell Rudiger, Zouma, Kante at all (this is good too) I also think that IF we do sell AC, we will buy (stupidly I think) Ake, and not even make moves on either Romagnoli or Konate. I think we will try (and probably fail) to buy Sancho and FOOLISHLY end up with Zaha for around £70m I do NOT think we make moves for either Camavinga (sob) or Partey and it is 50/50 if he mover for Declan Rice this summer I think we try (and again fail) on Werner, and I must say, at this point ,after hm, I have no clear favourite who we make a move for, maybe Lautaro Martínez???? (HARD pull as Conte loves him) SO not counting a striker and assuming we DO buy Zaha and Rice, Chilwell, Ake (and sell AC, otherwise no Ake buy) that is around £250m gross spend (and obviously goes up a lot IF we buy a striker not named Werner (we are mad if we do not go all out for him at that price) I could see us not even buying Rice and spending 50 to 70m instead on a striker which yields £230 to 250m gross spend as well hell we may not even sell AC and buy NO CB's the only positions I am dead red sure that we buy in are LB and RW and probably CF
  10. You damn well know that the 600/700 million figure was ONLY mentioned once and was IF we also sold Kante and Rudiger on top of ALL the rest and I already stated that there was zero chance of that happening and I did not condone it overall. It was only mentioned in response to another poster and was NOT at all my actual working figures, which I had posted in great detail multiple times. Stop trying to false frame and gaslight it is not a good look at all
  11. you talk about it but clearly do not understand it in the slightest and your using Transfermarkt's posted numbers as a prima facie valuation for players and thus for the cumulative value of the club is LAUGHABLE go out and try and buy players for those 'valuations' roflmaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo quit whilst you are behind
  12. I am NOT a goddamn man and you clearly have no clue about what a rolling window is in regards to FFP I also am ONLY dealing with transfer fees in and out in terms of balancing the books (especially players year over year salary load) I would need to have full access to the club's financials to give a down to the penny full accounting when you factor in wages (all staff, not just players), insurance, and other operating expenses such as all our physical plants, etc (not to mention revenues from ticket sales, lux box sales (both of those being shit due to our ageing stadium), image rights, merch sales, sponsorship fees coming in, telly revenues, cup, euro comp, and other league generated revenues etc) DONE WITH THIS
  13. bollocks and so condescending lol at posting links at me, as if I am not aware of those for ages you are 100% full of shite your entire tosh is ridiculous on its face, as you 'disappear' monies simply because they occurred (ie came in) from the previous year it is like saying I could not buy any equities in June 2020 using funds from a billion pound sterling stock sale in June 2019 you don't have the slightest clue on financials sorry not sorry or Sarri not Sarri I should say
  14. My total on all the sales (after I added in the left out by mistake £13m from the pre-cooked Mario Pašalić Atalanta deal) was £588m add in the loan fee inflows (£18m cumulative as best I can reconnoitre without seeing the actual club's books for some I have missed) £606m is the final total NOW Lets say we get ZERO, NOTHING, Zilch from all of the following (either they walk on frees or we do not sell now) I leave the valuations in that I assigned to each to show exactly what I removing £8m Marco van Ginkel (when fully fit) £25m Azpi £10m Pedro £10m Giroud £25m Willian (if we renew him and sell) (if he walks on a free we lost £65m based of the July 2018 Marina turn down of Barca) £12m Drinkwater (what a cockup, even with his loan fees/or partial salary pickup we will still end up losing around £55-60m on this donkey if he does end up walking on a free, and that is WITH clubs picking up part of his salary) £10m Kenedy that's an even £100m Still leaves £506m (and IF we get the actual in-contract Monaco strike price for Bakayoko it is then around £514m or so, but as I have stated multiple times, I hedged downward and assumed we sell him for less) Another thing to keep in mind is that the pound has risen a lot versus the euro, so if if we sell players to English clubs, we gain if we then have to buy players from continental clubs in euros, and if we sell in euros, we can play the arbitrage game, and either keep the monies in euro-based accounts OR convert to pounds (IF we think the pound will go up even more versus the euro, and thus increase our buying power more. Abramovich is a financial wizard, he knows all this for decades). I also have a very hard time believing we will end up taking a £100m complete wipe out on ALL seven listed players at the end of the day. 4 (To really show what I have talked about when I say the board has made horrific moves in the realm of financial management) it is actual vastly higher (around £200m on just those 7 if we do end up with zero from sales for all of them) on semi non-balance sheet (as there were no sales, but there was a rotten buy that does go on the books) paper when you add in the revenue losses coming from the non timely sales of Willian and Azpi and the horrific buy/money flush of Drinkwater) Finally, to show the cumulative losses from non timely sales and bad buys over the past several windows (going back to summer 2017) I lay out these Summer 2019 Hazard versus what we got around a £55m to £65m loss (depending on what Real would have paid (they were up to £190m and or so and Marian told them what worked out to £220m, which was asinine, as they were paying in euros) Summer 2017 Cuntois versus what we got in 2018- around £40m (the board fucking knew that he was NEVER going to renew and ZZ wanted him BADLY) Summer 2018 Kepa buy versus what we could have purchased Allison for in summer 2017 - close to £50m, even if we overpaid for Alisson in 2017 and dropped £25m to £30m on him (summer of 2017 he was rated at £6.3m on Transfermarkt), it still is is a well over £42-47m shit away) There were also other decent keepers out there in 2017 who could have easily been had for 25 to 30m, although I simply must add my wife and I were ALL in for Alisson back then, as our Brasilian mates from Porto Allegre were saying he was going to be a superstar. Summer of 2018 Willian £65m non sale, and if he walks on a free that is a pure loss Summer of 2017 Drinkwater buy- assuming we get zero in transfer fees (as many have assured me we will now,) and also have eat part of his remaining wages, call it a around a £50-55m net loss when the books are closed Summer of 2018 non sales of Azpi and Alonso- assuming we get around £30m for Alonso and ZERO for Azpi this is a net £60-65m loss for the pair, based on hard offers and then Marinas ridiculous demands that were laughed at by the clubs who wanted them January 2019 £16m (fees plus wages) money flush on Higs PLUS the non buy of Piatek, who even IF we was meh, we still could have made £ on a reseale as his BUT price ans salary were crazy low. Call it a £20-25m net net cockup Summer of 2018 turndown of ,£30m from PSG for Luiz (and failure to buy Kehrer, who was only 3m more and who PSG did buy and who would have been a great replacenet at CB plus would have allowed the Azpi sale as he is a great RB too so the double whammy) call it a £22m straight loss, as we got £8m for him, and it could be more as Kehrer would cost at least £40m now, but I am not going to go pure speculative here) I also will NOT even add in Bakayoko, Morata, Zappacosta, Bats, etc (it is not the board's fault that van Ginkel blew out his knee, thus wrecking his sale to PSV) as even though we over-payed, they looked like oki deals at the time (Zappa not so much), and hope we will salvage a lot of the moneys spent total up those and you have (taking the LOWEST figures and assuming we get zero for Willian, zero for Azpi and £30m for Alonso, zero for Drinkwater other than partial wages paid) around £354m (not joking you can double check my maths) in revenue losses and bad buy/bad loan/bad non buy loses that is a shit tonne of cash flushed down the loo in terms of loss of monies to buy replacements/upgrades (which we surely would have done on almost all of those deals if they had went through)
  15. think about what you just typed if all (or most) transfers are staggered payments, why would we need to take a loan out as we would make staggered payments too
  16. You are starting to make yourself look foolish. You offer nothing of substance to counter a simple summation of sale valuations. Give it up. Your snarky shit is weak. If you think the total valuation of all the players under contract plus the sales that have already occurred is only £900m then I really want some of what you appear to be smoking. If you are removing all the sales that have occurred or will occur and simply writing them off and removing those monies completely (or even partially other than to subtract out Kovacic, which I definitively showed that even doing that and zeroing out all 2020 expiry contracts still yields over £500m) then you are also being completely dishonest.

  18. Manchester United 'join chase for Rennes wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga'… but face competition from Barcelona for £26m star Eduardo Camavinga seen as one of the brightest prospects in French football The 17-year-old has started all 13 of Rennes' Ligue 1 games this season Man United, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are interested in the midfielder https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7673681/Manchester-United-join-chase-Rennes-wonderkid-Eduardo-Camavinga.html Manchester United are reportedly one of a number of big clubs interested in signing young Rennes star Eduardo Camavinga. The 17-year-old, who has been part of Rennes' system since the age of 11, has become a first team regular, starting all 13 of his side's Ligue 1 games this season. Regarded as one the brightest prospects in French football, Camavinga's performances have already caught the eye of the likes of United, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, according to L'Equipe. The French outlet also claim it will take a bid in the region of £26million if Rennes are to let the midfielder go. Camavinga has primarily been used as a defensive midfielder during his senior career but his technical and physical attributes have earned him comparisons with Manchester United and France star Paul Pogba. He is in the process of gaining French nationality, having moved to the country from Angola when he was six, and his excited youth coaches believe he has what it takes to one day be even more influential in the national team's midfield than Pogba and N'Golo Kante. And in a connection to another of France's senior stars, Camavinga has the same agent - Moussa Sissoko - as Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele. Demebele also started his career at Rennes, coming through the ranks before moving to Borussia Dortmund in 2016 and then Barcelona in a deal worth up to £135.5m a year later. snip lol at £26m I wish!!!!!!
  19. Eriksen really wants to play in Spain, at either Madrid club, especially Real, or Barca, from all I have seen. Plus, we are already (assuming RLC gets healthy again) already overloaded at AMF. If he is on a free, sure, what the hell, as we can always sell him on. I really strongly advocate going for a hybrid DMF/CMF like Thomas Partey (that £45m release clause is so low, god help us if Manure or Spuds or Arse grabs him) or go full youth and snatch up Camavinga, who I feel will be a superstar buy the time he hits 20 (he turned 17 two days ago). He is special, and Kante can so mentor him (they are both French and both are swing DMF/CMF freaks. We have NO players on the squad remotely like either Thomas or Camavinga (Kante would be the closest). The club seems set on Declan Rice, which, IF you pull Camavinga off the board is probably an understandable move, although I would also toss Florentino from Benfica into the mix as well. Pep wants him BAD so will be a super hard pull. I would have to think Barca too and other huge clubs.
  20. feel free to verify all of my numbers I listed actual sale prices or very realistic targets and even gave figures with 50 million quid less wiggle room in that string of comments I then proceed to flesh out every possibility and even pull out the 40m spent on Kovacic and it still ends up with over £500m even with massive zeroed out losses due to multiple players walking on frees (Willian, Pedro, Giroud, etc etc, some of which I still say will bring in a few quid, just nothing like we could have had if we had done timely sales) I stand by my maths and my posts I am not trying to gaslight anyone, just showing what is actually there if we can just finish selling off the dregs (most of which should be done or already are) and add to the monies lready gained from actually sales (all are listed) The close to 700m figure was if we sold off Rudiger and Kante on top of all the other sales, which I am not advocating doing at all atm I reserve the right to wait and see how the rest of these plays out before determine who of the additionals (Kante, Rudiger then either AC or Zouma or two of those 3 CB's) may need to go. I only advocate selling 2 of the CBs IF they show sustained injuries (Rudiger) AND we are going for two to replace them, especially with Konate and Romagnoli as those two would be VAST upgrades on say Rudiger and AC or AC and Zouma) I do admit, that surprisingly, Zouma is actually starting (still not fully there which is why I want to see a full season) win me over, and that is very surprising, I do admit. I would say as surprising as how SHIT Bakayoko turned out, just in a GOOD form of surprise. If Zouma keeps it up, and then our top 4 CB's were Konate, Romagnoli, Zouma and Tomori, we should be set for years with a CL and League winning (capable of) group of CB's. Ake is too short for me (14 cms shorter than Konate, 5 cms shorter than Tomori, 8 cms shorter than Romagnoli and AC, 10cms shorter than Zouma and Rudiger). I see him get bullied in the air a lot. Add in LB's of Chiwell and Emerson, and then RB of Reece and either Azpi or a decent younger backup like Timothy Castagne of Atalanta or even (this would be ideal) our young lad Marc Guehi (who does play RB too) and we have a MONSTER level back 4, perhaps, as they mature, the best in the world, and all 2 deep in every position. Konate (Height: 1.94 m Weight: 93 kg) and Zouma alone would terrify teams in terms of size and pure brute strength. It would be like having a pair of yank football strong safeties for CB's and Romagnoli is also very nice size (taller than Koulibaly) and superb on the ball, and finally add in speed demon Tomori and you have a pack of centre backs for any occasion.
  21. he clearly is not recovered fully, he doesn't have that burst he did before it may be mental, as he might not be going full out due to inner fear of re-tearing his Achilles I will give him until mid-season next year before calling it definitively the one I truly worry about is RLC, as his tear was even worse
  22. £65m, right around July 21st, 2018, when we were in Perth Australia to play The Glory Willian was 29, turned 30 around 16 days later (August 9th) fuck Sarri and fuck Marina if that was the reason why he wasn't sold I still think we might cave in and offer him a 2 year extension (or at least 1 year) which, IF we do buy Sancho, I will not freak out on (and sell him in 2021 (if a 2 year), even though he will be almost 33 then, we can still get £10-15m or so for him I wager, he seems the type that can play to 35, 36 as a sub, especially in a slower league like Serie A) I can be more than happy with LW Pulisic LW CHO RW Sancho RW Willian for next year all of them can play either wing too (just not equally as well)
  23. I updated all my posts from that one on down in this tread too, as I totally forgot (he is the only major one, I went back and double checked) Mario Pasalic, whom Atalanta has already said they will exercise their £13m buy option on. So add 13m pounds sterling to every total. I am going to sit tight and watch the rest of the season to see who I would keep and who I would sell from the group of 3 (Zouma, AC, Rudiger) Rudiger is clearly the best when healthy, but now I am getting worried that he might turn into a chronically injured player, which is a goddamn shame if that happens. I am also getty worried (less so, but still) Kante, as he does turn 30 next season. The insane figure (if we did sell Rudiger and Kante) of around £700m is what would be in the kitty at that point. Not that that is going to happen, as we can but offload so much in one window (in theory, I am NOT actually convinced, as we will have 1 and a half to 2 fucking years to plan it out overall, but oh well) I do NOT want, atm, to sell Kante btw, before so many try and roast me alive. The only thing dicey is his age (and now these multiple injuries) as other than that he is a top 5 in the world MFer still and I think has 2 or maybe 3 peak years left after this one. I will say this, however, this coming summer is the last one we can get £100m or more for him, that is absolutely for sure.
  24. I am open to selling AC instead of Zouma, but no one has said to buy Koulibaly this comming summer. That ship has sailed long ago. Ibrahima Konaté is the beast I have been pushing since last year. Bigger, faster, better passer than Zouma and still only 20yo. Or, if he isn't yer cuppa amd you want a WC ball playing CB, Romagnoli FTW. Hell if Rudiger looks like he is going to be perpetually injured, sell him along with either AC or Zouma (probably AC) and buy BOTH Konaté and Romagnoli. We certainly have the money (well over half a billion quid and close to £600m if you toss in a Rudiger sale too) to do it. AC Milan are a goddamn mess, and now is the best shot we will ever have to grab Romagnoli in his last prime 5 years or so.
