  1. now you are just being silly Lamptey is NOT a winger and is the shortest player in the EPL (5 foot 3) and is also not even renewing so far (The Sun flat out lied, which is par for the course) and may walk on a free in a few months to PSG or Nice Report: Chelsea youngster Tariq Lamptey could be on his way out https://www.thechelseachronicle.com/club-news/report-chelsea-youngster-tariq-lamptey-could-be-on-his-way-out/
  2. re-buy Boga? better do it NOW he will be be soon gone we have no youth wingers atm who are first team quality as of now Moses is probably coming back from loan (as he barely plays in Turkey), lololol that screams title time!!!! NOT
  3. AC Milan v Udinese HD Streams http://www.sportnews.to/sports/2020/serie-a-milan-vs-udinese-s2/ https://www.ronaldo7.net/video/real-madrid-live/real-madrid-live-streaming.html Zlatan
  4. but if Willian walks we DO need to buy a winger which I listed cheaper option as well and you are leaving out a MF (Soumare and others are not being tossed out for fun) the numbers do not add up for all those coming in even if you remove Soumare type and go with a 50m or so non Zaha winger to replace Willian it isnt happening I wish it was so many reasons it will not (again I listed so many why) IF we sell Kante, then maybe I will at least start to have partial belief but it still leaves a shedload of cash to spend and a huge run of luck that all those come here
  5. the board doesn't give a rat's red arse (well blue arse, lol) what I or anyone on here thinks unfortunately all we can do is vent and hope
  6. done and self-deleted in this thread
  7. General questions IF we lose all of the following 10 games do you support Lampard being sacked? do you think he will be sacked if we do lose all 10? if not how many of the ten would he have to lose to get sacked and have you support this? again, this also assumes we win every other game not listed it could be even worse I am NOT predicting we lose all of these btw simply asking where the breaking point would be we also could win some of these are still drop other games against shit teams (like we have been doing)
  8. perhaps, let me post it in the Super Frank thread
  9. but what is the breaking point (assuming we do not make top 4?) obviously if we lose them all (the listed league ones, or lose all but 1 or even maybe 2 (especially if the 1 or 2 wins are against Sheffield United and or Wolves), we are not making top 4, even if we win the rest of the non listed games, and winning all of those non listed is so so not guaranteed either) we cannot drop 21 or 24 points from those listed league games and make top 4, I simply do not see how especially if we have cockups versus some other shit teams that is my question
  10. that is why I left a lot out my numbers still stand without them 'it is not going to happen for multiple reasons (I already listed why) especially if Kante is not sold we simply do not have the money (again I listed this out why) and the odds are so high we do not get all the targets listed the other giant clubs are all in for all of them (not every club for every player, but every player will have HUGE clubs making moves for them besides us)
  11. Inter Will Only Sign Chelsea’s Victor Moses If He Is Physically Fit To Play Immediately https://sempreinter.com/2020/01/19/inter-will-only-sign-victor-moses-if-he-is-fit-enough-to-immediately-join-the-squad/ lol, as he is likely being sent back here it looks like as well by Fenerbahce more dregs for the party!!!
  12. GOODBYE HALCYON DAYS https://chelseafancast.com/2020/01/goodbye-halcyon-days/ Another weekend, another defeat. This one seeming to carry more gravitas than the others. It’s mid-January, there appears to be no signings in the near future and we’ve all said goodbye to those halcyon days of asking for the transfer ban to be extended. Our eighth defeat after just 23 Premier League games. The same number of defeats suffered by Maurizio Sarri in the whole of last season, and we’ve still got 15 games to go. We could quite easily be looking at 15 defeats, which would be worse than the 2015/2016 season where we finished 10th. The good news on that though, is that we’ve already matched the number of wins (12). I hate to say it, but if our manager wasn’t our greatest ever player, and just another coach from Europe, I’d be calling for them to be sacked. But, our manager is Frank Lampard and our squad is considerably worse off than last season, thanks largely to the departure of Eden Hazard, which thanks to a transfer ban Chelsea haven’t been able to replace. And even if they could, how do you replaced the 3rd best player in world football? Much like last season our position in the table is inflated thanks to the form of our rivals. Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester United are currently as useful as a pair of see through Speedo’s at the local swimming baths. But, that could change. Any one of those three could potential make a couple of signings that could change the complex of their season. Arsenal need a defender, Spurs need a striker and United, well they need a new manager, but they’ve got previous of paying over the odds to bring in players. And then there’s us. Having spent a lot of time and a lot of money fighting UEFA over our transfer ban, we seem content enough to wait until the summer to bring in some preferred targets. Which in some ways is a positive sign that the club have learned some lessons of the past and repeats of signings with Danny Drinkwater will be avoided in the future. However, there’s no point focusing on the light at the end of the tunnel when the ground is giving way beneath your feet. In a piece on the Athletic, by Fancast regular Liam Twomey, the financial implications of Chelsea’s failure to maintain Champions League football were laid bare. We simply cannot afford to miss out on a top four spot this year, which is a real possibility. SNIP more at the link
  13. at least he can hit the target in some areas apparently must have taken lessons from Cuntois
  14. if I may, let me put forth these numbers Havertz I think will will cost around £100m or more not £86m Werner's RC goes down to £25m in the summer however I think you are correct that at 50m or 60m and maybe more as there will be a huge bidding war Sancho (unless the insane £40m+ quid agent demand is actually true) should go for £120m or so but maybe you are correct at 130m quid so I will go with your figure you are correct on Grimaldo at £51m BUT all signs show that we are going for the £80m dice roll that is Chilwell (and also not selling our 2 LBs once again in a time fashion so they drop (especially Alonso who turns 30 next season) even more in resale vale (plus if we only buy ONE LB, we are stuck with dregs as Backup still) add that up (and this is if IF we run the line and grab ALL, which is far, far from certain) and we are at £360m to £370m or so BUT if Willian walks on a free, we still then need another winger (we simply cannot roll with only 3) so add in another 50m or so there (80m or so if we foolishly move for Zaha) plus a DMF (everyone is all up on Soumare for around 50m or so, who I am NOT sold on given hsi miserable interception/take on rate, second lowest of ALL DMF/CMF's in Ligue 1 atm) there is your £500m or so (IF Zaha, otherwise around 470m or so, which is still a shedload) Add in a 2nd LB (minus a sale of the remaining dregs) and it is even more also, notice there are ZERO CB moves, ZERO GK moves (not even backup and/or comp for the crisis-ridden Kepa), zero RB moves, zero 3rd CF moves, and zero creative CMF moves involved in any of these numbers it simply is not happening, especially IF we do not sell Kante the numbers do not work I am afraid (a lot to do with the board cocking up sales in a non timely fashion, and then making horrid buys, horrid contractual management, and simply refusing to sell other dregs) plus, again, all this assumes we win on every listed transfer battle, which is pretty damn unlikely and also, IF we miss out on CL again, not only does that somewhat hurt recruitment, BUT it also fucks us hard on FFP, making monies even tighter
  15. My LB stance is crystal clear based of a myriad number of posts (RB stance too TBH, but that is becoming pointless as Azpi is rapidly ageing and we are not going to get fuckall for him soon) But each window they all go down in value (our ones to sell, ie all but Reece) and each window we fail to do fuckall. I assume January 2020 now will be no different. I think it is madness, when we have buyers for both Emerson and Alonso NOW and we also have the chance to grab 2 really decent LB's (two of which can be done simply via hitting a 32m and then a 51m RC clause, although as you know, I want Gosens (Emerson is a PERFECT swap option for Atalanta with Gosens, as they are almost exact same age and Emerson is Italian citizen, thus counts as HG and speaks Italian) and ONE of Grimaldo or Telles, not both Grimaldo and Telles) Instead I fear we will drop (and maybe even fail trying to buy, leaving us truly high n' dry yet again) £80m on Chilwell in the summer, and then still fail to sell one of our two dregs, making the net transfer fee spend 60m or so MORE than just bringing in Gosens and Telles and 40m or so more than bring in Grimaldo and Gosens now, PLUS if we do that we still have a dregs at backup option (if we keep Alonso, he will soon be basically vastly even further reduced in resale value as well as he hits 30yo next season) and we are literally dice rolling an insane amount of money on Chilwell, who has often looked so so poor the last month or two. IF he doesn't recover his form and we still drop crazy quid on him, we are utterly losing the plot to a club-busting (in both FFP money and performance on the field areas) degree (one of but many crazy bad deals doing that potentially or one already done.)
  16. As I have repeatedly posted, Isco is waiting until after Euro 2020 to decide his future (unless there is some 'secret' deal going on). James on loan might work. I can live with a £15 to 20m drop on Cavani, He has at least 1 and a half to 2 decent years left (he is genetic freak type) and we are in dire straights atm. Agree to a no to Piatek too, he has fallen off the cliff form-wise. Finally we at least should try and do a swap deal (Emerson for Gosens, plus a wee bit of cash from us if needed) with Atalanta. He would be a massive improvement for little net cost at LB right now. I also advocate for selling Alonso to Inter (their LB deal for Leonardo Spinazzola from Roma just crashed out at the last minute and Ashley Young surely is not a longer term option as he is soon 35yo and only came ona 6 month initial loan anyway) or even Juve etc as well and buying either Telles or Grimaldo and then just forgetting the £80m Chilwell. Grimaldo and Gosens or Telles and Gosens as our LB's would be a massive upgrade for less cash outlay overall than just buying Chilwell alone, AND it gets us decent value for both Alonso and Emerson whilst we still can get it ) Alonso turns 30 next season and his value will start to plummet even more. We could have gotten around £125m total for Azpi, Alfonso and Emerson back in 2018 and long term upgraded then. Now we will will be damn lucky to get £50-to 60m and likely a lot less (Azpi is now on the verge of being unsaleable for any significant quid and he will be more than likely just run into the ground until he is allowed to walk on a free in in 2022 when he is basically 33yo (summer of 2022) and utterly spent. Maybe he goes on a Ashley Young-type big 5 league career close-out move for peanuts by some Serie A or La Liga club.
  17. I am not arguing for Oblak, I am saying all these 100m plus players are fantasyland given the club's financial standing. Especially if we stupidly refuse to sell Kante. Sancho is it for the truly massive buts, and there is zero chance that he is a 100% lock to come here If you look at my old posts, pre FFP issues, and pre me being told in private months ago that the club is in damage limitation mode with an eye to wealth extraction again, then you will find all these big names being pushed by me too. But the club is not selling the players in a timely fashion, thus crushing our revenue steams from that. Add in poor buys, worse contractual management, shit renewals on cray salaries, etc, it all adds up to where we stand now. Which is an almost £100m net loss for last year, no new stadium coming (permit ends very soon too), rapidly ageing players who we refused to sell, and may still refuse to sell, etc etc. The hopes of us dropping £500m, £600m are completely fiction, fantasyland like I said. The miney is simoly not there. Take away FFP, and have Roman never being basically banned from the UK, then sure, we would be well on the way to building the new stadium and he would probably drop a shit tonme of quid for truly WC players. None of those can or will or did happen atm.
  18. Havertz will be around 100m. Add him to the list of the first targets: Werner, Sancho. Chilwell, Soumare and a another winger to replace Willian if/when the downing tools twat walks on a free, plus Dembele is Werner is a fail Plus the newly asked for (in another thread) Oblak, we are now up to £550-600m or so gross spend. And that is NOT even buying ANY CB's, any new b/u GKer, another LB, any RB's, no 3rd CF, no CMF. Zero chance of us dropping well over half a billion quid gross (NOT even counting those insane salaries) on transfer fees in this and the summer 2020 windows.
  19. Courtois in 2017 said over and over and over and over he wanted to go back to Madrid and would not renew. If we (my wife, my family, all my real life Blues mates, my goddamn Bulgarian mani-pedi woman (not joking we talked footie all the time, her auntie was neighbours with Stoichov in Plovdiv) ffs) knew he was gone, surely the board did OR they are truly as fucking STUPID as I think.
  20. Don't give in and start settling Fuck this shit!
