lol, I am fine with this, as long as he gets healthy (finally) and then we can sell him on same for Kenedy

the CL angle is the ONLY one I give the slightest legitimacy to if that helps we can so quickly sort that by finishing strongly our team is pretty healthy now and we are clearly stronger on paper than most of our competition (save for Shiity and of course Victimpool, and we did BEAT them (and should have beaten them twice, grr that damn supercup pen shootout) I see ZERO chance that Shitty get next year's CL ban ripped away the 2 year ban is 50/50 so 5th place gets CL thsi season IF Shitty gets both years taken away there is going to be hell to pay FUCK FFP all the top clubs minus the big five (the scum who had it put in to protect them, ie Manure, Barca, Real, and especially Bayern and Juve) need to sue UEFA and FIFA for disparate impact and illegal, unfair, uneven punishment

you are reading my mind for the past week or so IF that happens then we have no one to blame but ourselves I can see it happening I also am so hoping Leverkusen fails to get CL so Havertz will be more likely to leave they so lucked out to get a 1 1 today I would rather have Havertz than Werner all day, all night obviously want both though IF we do lose Werner, we DAMN well better get Havertz my worst nightmare is somehow us missing out on all of Werner (somehow still ends up at Victimpool or maybe even Shitty) Sancho Manure Havertz Victimpool or Bayern next year Håland Manure next year or the year after

I see almost no way, even with COVID-19, we will sell Jorginho for anything under a £60m valuation he is arguably the best (at worst 3rd) DH DMF in the world atm, unless you put Frenkie de Jong at that position and maybe Joshua Kimmich (who is so hard to categorise) Pjanic has not adapted to Sarriball the only other two who are near him (Fabinho is not a true DH DMF for me, and Busquets, surprisingly, has fallen really far off the pace) are Sandro Tonali (my number one DMF target, and who will eventually be the best or 2nd best DMF on the planet I think, down the road) and then another long time Chels semi-Target (and still only 27) Marcelo Brozovic

yes Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano is a multi-purpose stadium in Madrid, Spain. Named after former Real Madrid footballer Alfredo di Stéfano, the stadium is currently used for football matches, serving as the home of Real Madrid Castilla; the reserve team of Real Madrid; and, according to unconfirmed rumours by club members, will be used by the club's women's football section starting in 2020–21

I just turned it on, where are they playing at? some tiny stadium Real's training ground?

we did get the offer, I and many others have proved this beyond a shadow of a doubt with a myriad number of posts over the past almost 2 years it is not my problem that people chose to ignore the myriad numbers of posts and engage in false positing even the 2nd offer of £55m should have been taken, but to turn down £65m was just pure ineptitude the £65m offer came right around July 21st, 2018, when we were in Perth Australia to play the Glory (we won nil 1 on July 23rd) this is from the site where Matt Law is the Football Editor and Darren Plant the Sr Football writer (both of whom are extremely reputable) Chelsea 'rejected £65m Willian bid' https://ws.sportsmole.co.uk/football/chelsea/transfer-talk/news/chelsea-rejected-gbp65m-willian-bid_335931.html Chelsea reportedly decided to turn down an offer in the region of £65m for Willian during the summer transfer window. Willian grew frustrated at the Premier League outfit with Antonio Conte in charge of the Blues, and the playmaker has previously acknowledged that he may have looked to leave the club had the Italian remained in the dugout. The 30-year-old is currently flourishing under new head coach Maurizio Sarri, but according to the Daily Star, the Brazilian was the subject of strong interest from Barcelona before the start of the new campaign. The report claims that the Catalan giants made an offer of £65m, only for Chelsea to choose to reject the bid in favour of keeping Willian at Stamford Bridge. The player has maintained that he is happy in West London, with less than two years remaining on his contract more Simon Johnson of the Athletic (and the Standard) Sky sports refers to it too, and confirms the previous bid of around £55m the previous week or so before Jordi Gil (one of the top Barca journos in Spain) Jordi Gil @jordigil Editor of the Barça section Jordi Gil Jordi Gil Tarrés (Sabadell, 1975), graduated in Journalism at the UAB. SPORT editor since 1996, where he spent nine years in the National Football section, passing in 2005 to the Barça section. He covered the 2010 and 2014 World Cups, the 2012 European Championship and the 2009 and 2013 Confederations Cups. He wrote 'Discovering Cesc Fàbregas: 35 looks' (2012) and co-author of' Andrés Iniesta, 8 Grandes Historias' (2012) and ' The cracks of La Masia '(2011). also refers to it here https://www.sport.es/en/news/barca/barcelona-meet-with-willians-representatives-to-work-out-a-deal-6956143 this is the last time I am posting on this other than if I chose to refer to turn-down in any future post I am far from the only one who posted on this as well it really gets tiresome having to go back and rehash old, long done shite

Arse have 2 titles in the last 20 years, none in the last 16 2001–02, 2003–04 3 overall EPL titles we have the same amount of league titles in the last 15 years as Arse have in the last 49 and counting between the 35 years 1952/53 and 1988/89 they did win one, in 1970/71, but we also won one in that time frame so I would not call them 'serial champions* FA Cup winners, yes, they are serial winners there (8 times a winner from 1992/93 to 2016/17) 13 overall (English record) and if you go back the 1930's then yes (they won 5 out of ten titles in that decade) Manure are (or were) serial League winners, so agree there

Tapsoba and Ozan Kabak are two really class young CB's Tapsoba is superb on the ball Kabak is a beast in the air for a only being 1.86m (I say only relatively speaking, 1.86m is not a bad height) Havertz has been bottled up, his teammates ( Moussa Diaby and Nadiem Amiri) are far too central, so all the players on Schalke are sagging in on him Alario is not a very active CF, too static I have to say, overall, Bayer's 4 2 3 1 looks a lot like ours when we are having issues versus a flat back 4 the off ball movement, other than Havertz, is poor I have yet to see all the hype over Diaby, he has looked meh in ever game I have seen lately

not selling a 30yo (turned 30 August 9th) Willian for £65m in summer 2018 was a crazy stupid move I will never give up saying that now we get nothing for him just 2 years later some people act like he is a football god smdh 3 league goals that year 5 this year 226 EPL league games total 33 goals if Pulisic averages 4 or 5 league goals over his first 4 or 5 years here do you think people will say he was a success? Willian fanboys and fangirls find it to be acceptable a player we sold for ONE FIFTH the price of that £65m scored the same amount of league goals basically in one season as Willian scored in his CAREER here
-
thats funny because I have heard multiple presenters call them both exactly that (and not in a negative way) many times
-
fair enough I do think many people, at least from what I have seen over the years, give a bit of side-eye to 'poachers' or players labelled as such
-
I agree with all your points, this is what I was trying to say (I did not do a good job at elaborating to why), and yes, Juve was not a great move for him I would love to have him here my main point is that there is zero chance he (or any CB) will cost £120m in today's market (and at the age of VVD, the one who possibly would if he was 2 or 3 years younger) IF there was no COVID-19, then maybe Varane (but Real will never sell him now UNLESS we somehow work some swap plus cash or swap plus another play deal that involves Kante, and even that will be hard as hell, given Kante's age (30yo in March) and recent injury history) I do not think even Barca (as they are the kings of £100m plus buys and have had disastrous luck there overall) are foolish enough to dump £120m on him in 2021, when he is 30yo (not that they can even afford it and he will not be sold by the dippers anyway, Klopp would walk and their scum punters would riot) IF they had the cash, and if Victimpool called them up and said, £120m cash and he is yours (NOW, this summer), yes, they would do it, but all 3 things (No COVID, Barca having the cash, and the dippers selling now) are so NOT happening at all
