  2. it dam well better Lambda is coming in the heels of Delta and sooner or later humankind's luck may run out and we get a VOHC i.e. a Variant of High Consequence https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/variants/variant-info.html
  3. #facts I love this board at times, we have by far (especially for such a small core group) so many inciteful posters 💙
  4. A real shitter of a window so far.
  5. Livramento and Bate leaving would be a disaster. If we sign no one of import, lose all these youth, and fail to sell off most of the deadwood (thus ensuring they leave on frees) this window will be some 2017, 2018 level shit. Extraordinarily unhappy if that all goes down
  6. Gylfi Sigurdsson https://www.evertonfc.com/news/2193203/club-statement Everton can confirm it has suspended a First-Team player pending a police investigation. The Club will continue to support the authorities with their inquiries and will not be making any further statement at this time.
  7. it's happy hour somewhere on the planet

  12. UEFA Super Cup winners Club World Cup champions top 4 at a minimum
  13. erm, what squad under Lampard was 'much superior' to this one? the year he finished 4th this was the squad Kepa Willy Caballero Antonio Rüdiger Kurt Zouma Andreas Christensen Fikayo Tomori (rookie season) Emerson Marcos Alonso César Azpilicueta Reece James (rookie season) N'Golo Kanté (rough time with multiple injuries) Jorginho Mateo Kovacic Ruben Loftus-Cheek (perma wrecked by then, only played 205 league minutes) Ross Barkley Mason Mount (rookie season) Callum Hudson-Odoi (post injury, and only played 851 league minutes, was a shadow of himself) Christian Pulisic Willian (Ziyech scored only 3 less goals than Willian in 1500 LESS minutes, all comps) Pedro (1 league goal) Tammy Abraham Michy Batshuayi (1 league goal, was horrid) Olivier Giroud Tuchel has/had (new players, not on Lamps 4th place team) Gilmour (now loaned out) Kai Havertz Timo Werner Ben Chilwell Hakim Ziyech Edouard Mendy Thiago Silva and all the ones to come this window (if any) plus a healthy Kante if you think the 2019/20 side was 'much superior' to last year's or the one we will end up with this season, I do not know what to say actually how about KEPA was the starting keeper in 2019/20 for starters
  14. yes, which is why it makes no sense to me to contemplate dumping him now plus this market is shite for selling all but a handful of players literally every CF on the planet is potentially for sale (or has already moved) I think this is the first time I can say this in my football-following life Kane wants out badly or he would be the exception Benzema turns 35 next year (2022), RM would so toss him under the bus if you waved enough money (far too much IMHO) in their face to help them grab a huge player now
  15. so much this! I want those goddamn trophies, especially that bloody FWCC surely we cannot go down in history as the only Euro side to fail (and to fail TWICE) since the Brasilians won the first 3 we already are the only UEFA side to fail (we had the rotten luck to run tnto the only great non UEFA side since those 3 Brasilian sides) since the first 3 14 finals since then, the only loss was us to lose it again, and in the last year that it is pretty easy to win (the format changes next year, it will be so much harder) would be too much to take
  16. hell, toss in the Agnelli family from Juve too, plus the yank owners of Arse, Liverpool, and Manure, plus the board of JP Morgan that would basically end this ESL rot and finally the PGMOL refs and their overlords group discount
  17. we are not buying Kounde so I am done here I only was pushing back against the notion that he is not short, and too short for a top class CB in the EPL IMHO He is only 1cm taller than Kovacic ffs. Would people pushing back on me feel comfortable with Kova as a CB in the air? we are not going to drop £69m on him that would be the 3rd most ever spent on a CB or any defender in football history £9m less than Slabhead, £7m less than VVD and in a market decimated by COVID, where quality players are going for pennies on the pound ain't happening sorry
  18. the height difference between Kante and Kounde is less between Rudiger and Zouma (they are the same height) less than the difference between Alonso and Kounde, and the same as between AC and Kounde Chilwell and Mount are the same height as Kounde, and Kovacic is only 1cm shorter than Kounde Reece James is 4 cm taller than Kounde
