  4. Lol at the fucking Brit shit press inventing so many 'troubles' and 'controversies' out of whole cloth if you listen to them Werner is 3/4ers of the way out the door, likely in January and on his way to Bayern and Zouma's 'massive' £100-115k or so per week (they always say he WANTED 125k but is getting lower) is tearing West ham dressing apart as he is now the highest paid played. Uh, hello, Rice refuses to renew and look at the rest of the team. Most were nobodies until last year. and Saul is already miserable about playing time!!! what a fucking joke
  5. Chelsea joined by Serie A giants in the race to sign 21-year-old French starlet https://astamfordbridgetoofar.com/2021/09/08/Chelsea-aurelien-tchouameni-cfc-transfer-news-juventus/ Transfer News: Chelsea joined by Juventus in the race to sign Aurelien Tchouameni According to Calciomercato (h/t football.london), Chelsea have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni as Juventus prepare to hijack the deal. The West London club have keen on signing a central midfielder and were also tipped to complete a move for Tchouameni before the end of the transfer window as Monaco crashed their hopes of competing in the UEFA Champions League this year. However, the Blues did end up signing Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid on a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of this season. While that was the case, the Stamford Bridge outfit are now said to be plotting a potential move for Tchouameni next summer to bolster their midfield options. Although Niguez is a brilliant addition, there is no certainty on whether the Blues will make that a permanent move. Moreover, two of their current midfield options, namely N’Golo Kante and Jorginho, will be 30 at the end of this year. While Billy Gilmour, who has gone out on loan to Norwich this season, is a viable youth prospect in the centre of the park next year, Tchouameni would certainly bring down the average of the midfield and also future-proof that area to a considerable extent. The Frenchman was named Ligue 1’s Young Player of the Year last season. And thus, it is understandable as to why the London club are interested in securing his services. However, they will now face competition from Italian heavyweights Juventus for the 21-year-old’s signature as the Old Lady also look to add to their existing midfield line-up, according to Calciomercato (h/t football.london). This would be a blow for the Blues, who would have been hoping to sign the midfielder without any competition next summer. Regardless, Tchouameni might have the final say regarding his preferred destination for next season.
  6. Man Utd may have clear run to sign Declan Rice after Chelsea look at alternatives https://londonfootballnews.co.uk/Chelsea/man-utd-may-have-clear-run-to-sign-declan-rice-after-Chelsea-look-at-alternatives/ Chelsea are being linked with Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni – prompting speculation that Declan Rice could end up at Manchester United. West Ham star Rice has been linked with both Chelsea and United during successive transfer windows, but no bid has come in from either club. There continues to be speculation over the England international’s future, with Chelsea regularly touted as favourites to eventually prise him away from the Hammers. But The Athletic have reported that the Blues are now showing a strong interest in youngster Tchouameni, who at 21 is already approaching 100 appearances in the French top flight. Chelsea scouts are said to have been impressed by him and regard him as a potential transfer target for next summer. That has prompted the Mirror to declare that United “could find themselves with a clear run” when it comes to Rice as Chelsea “consider transfer alternatives”. West Ham have made it clear they want to keep Rice, who was on Chelsea’s books before joining the east London club as a teenager. He has three years remaining on his contract, although reports claim he has rejected offers of an extension and is keen to leave the door open to a move.
  7. Top 20 CB's under 33yo no real order (AC and Rüdiger make the cut, but not top ten IMHO, mainly becuase they are at their best in a back 3) Rúben Dias Virgil van Dijk Alessandro Bastoni Marquinhos Matthijs de Ligt Raphaël Varane José María Giménez ' Milan Skriniar David Alaba Harry Maguire Stefan de Vrij Kalidou Koulibaly Andreas Christensen Jules Koundé Aymeric Laporte Antonio Rüdiger Dayot Upamecano Alessio Romagnoli Pau Torres Lucas Hernández Old warhorses who can still be WC in a one game setting Thiago Silva Sergio Ramos Gerard Piqué Leonardo Bonucci Giorgio Chiellini
  8. Chelsea keeping tabs on Jude Bellingham https://www.Chelsea-news.co/2021/09/Chelsea-keeping-tabs-on-jude-bellingham/ Chelsea signed a new midfielder on transfer deadline day this summer, but that doesn’t stop the stories of potential new targets coming up. Saul Niguez joined the European Champions on loan in a dramatic day that saw him join right at the last minute. Depending on circumstances though, Chelsea may well soon be on the hunt for another midfielder, with much of the talk being Declan Rice of West Ham. However, as Eurosport report, Chelsea are still in for Rice but they’re also looking at England international and Dortmund youngster, Jude Bellingham, who they put ahead of Aurelien Tchouameni in terms of priority at Chelsea right now. All three are mentioned as potential Chelsea transfer targets for next summer, but of course this will very much be dependent on the futures of current option, Saul Niguez, Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, and N’Golo Kante. A centre back will probably be more of a pressing priority for Chelsea before another midfielder.
  9. Antonio Rudiger closer than ever to disappointing free transfer exit from Chelsea https://www.Chelsea-news.co/2021/09/antonio-rudiger-closer-than-ever-to-disappointing-free-transfer-exit-from-Chelsea/ Antonio Rudiger still has not agreed a new contract at Chelsea, and according to 90min.com, an agreement is not getting any closer. Letting the defender’s contract run down a little seemed sensible a year ago, when he wasn’t in the team anyway, but his revival since then means that locking him in to a long term deal has become essential. If the club doesn’t come to an agreement with the former Roma man before January, he can start speaking to other teams about a free transfer – and it’s easy to see him being tempted by a big offer from elsewhere. Certainly the situation is now playing into his hands quite nicely, and he’s unlikely to give up the superb leverage of his situation – at least until he can turn it into a deal he’s happy with. As it stands, it looks increasingly likely that Rudiger heads into the sunset next summer.
  10. 'I’m not just saying that': PL GK makes claim about Lukaku after playing in same team together https://www.thechelseachronicle.com/club-news/im-not-just-saying-that-pl-gk-makes-claim-about-lukaku-after-playing-in-same-team-together/ Ben Foster insisted Romelu Lukaku is one of the kindest men in football and that he was delighted to see his Chelsea move materialise. Speaking on the JaackMaate’s Happy Hour Podcast, the Watford goalkeeper expressed his uttermost respect towards Lukaku as a player and person. Foster and the Belgian shared a dressing room for a season in 2012/13, whilst the latter was on loan at West Bromwich Albion from Chelsea. Eight years later and the two have trodden very different career paths, but have both ended up back in the Premier League where they originally met. Lukaku’s journey has now come full circle after the Blues sealed his signature last month in a club-record transfer. His return to Stamford Bridge took a slight detour, passing by Everton, Manchester United and Inter Milan en route. Whilst perhaps not as glamourous, Foster also recently re-joined one of his former clubs. He signed for Watford in 2018, over a decade after representing the Hornets for two successive spells. In between, the ‘keeper spent seven years at West Brom, the first of which where he linked up with Lukaku. Tales of Rom “Romelu honestly was one of the nicest blokes you will honestly meet, I’m not just saying that,” said Foster. “He is one of the nicest guys. When he signed on loan for us (West Brom), he was at Chelsea at the time, I’d say for the first half of the season he struggled to find his feet a little bit. “But everybody could just see he was going to be a monster. You could just tell he was going to be an absolute joke of a player. “Physically he was incredible. He just needed to get into the rhythm of it. “Second of the season, my gosh he just exploded. He would start every single game and ragdoll defenders; he would be manhandling and bullying them.” In that solo campaign with the Baggies, Lukaku netted 17 league goals in 38 appearances. Just to put into context, no West Brom player since has matched that tally in a single top-flight term. From a boy to a Blue “What a guy,” continued Foster. “I’m so happy to see him do really well after what happened to him at Man United. “Man United will never sign a player and then tailor it around that player, they will always play the Man United way. “Whereas every other team he’s been successful at they’ve basically gone ‘right, we’ve got Romelu Lukaku. Let’s just play to his strengths and play around him.’ “I think he will be massive at Chelsea.” Foster’s foresight must’ve been pretty strong because Lukaku certainly has transformed into a defender’s nightmare. Just ask the Arsenal centre-backs, who were the test dummies for the striker’s second debut at Chelsea. Many more will face the wrath of the Blues no.9, so long as the minor thigh injury he is getting assessed isn’t too serious.
  11. After Chelsea - Abraham causes contract problems at Roma https://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/ex-Chelsea-striker-abraham-causes-contract-problems-at-roma-4384604 Former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham's arrival at AS Roma is causing problems for the board. The England international has kicked off his Serie A career in superb fashion, though his wages are creating trouble for management. Abraham joined Roma on a salary of €4.5m-a-year rising to €6m in bonues. Not since Daniele de Rossi and Edin Dzeko has a Roma player been paid so well. Even Francesco Totti wasn't paid such terms. Via Fussball Transfers, La Gazzetta dello Sport says Abraham's new teammates are well aware of his wages and now several are seeking pay-hikes themselves. Skipper Lorenzo Pellegrini is in the process of new contract talks and demanding much higher than his current €2.5m salary - which was the highest at the club before Abraham's arrival. Roma management are confident the Euro 2020 winner will pen new terms, though Abraham's wages and the new ceiling set is causing a headache for the club's bean counters. Abraham, meanwhile, has already won over the Giallorossi support with an impressive start to the season. In the Serie A's opening three games, Abraham has scored once and produced two assists. - updated September 7
  12. Novichok: Roman Abramovich ‘could lose Chelsea’ Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich could have his assets seized as Britain takes revenge on Russia. https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/Chelsea-news-roman-abramovich-Chelsea-16893460 The club’s billionaire owner is among dozens of tycoons set to be targeted following the Salisbury poisonings. It comes after two Russian spies were named prime suspects in the Novichok attack. The move could spark the sale of the Premier League giants if Mr Abramovich decides to move his fortune abroad. Under new rules, foreigners can be made to prove how assets held here were funded, or have them confiscated.
  13. I also must say, for someone who claims to not know English well, you sure have some knowledge of UK idiom and parlance. You must be the first person I have ever met that claims to not know what a chav is, yet tosses other in-group colloquialisms like Sloane Ranger (which is far more obscure than chav). Also, it is Ratcliffe, not Radcliffe and you are either a sock puppet account or one obsessed little stalker you joined this board 10 months ago I was talking about Ratcliffe THREE years ago when it looked like the club was in real danger of possibly being seized due to the Home Office bending over for the yanks and blocking Roman's visa, plus the yanks put him on a watchlist for possible global sanctions, plus the Novichok shite as well it would take so long for you to find all that unless you were here back then, or you spent hours going through my old posts, or someone is feeding you info to try and slate me with (and that is a curious choice of thing to bring up, as I did zero wrong, nothing, nada to be embarrassed of)
  14. I took them down, but you continue to try and belittle me as some Sloane Ranger type, when I completely disabused you of that notion when you first called me one. You also keep trolling multiple other posters on here with your nonsense. For someone who claims to not know English well and who is a relatively recent immigrant to England (your words), you sure like to accuse others (in a roundabout way) of not being 'real' Chels fans. You get nothing more than pull down of those posts from me.
  15. How about Kups FC have they made any big signings ? I have deleted my replies to you
  16. How about Kups FC have they made any big signings ? you drug it up in the middle of trolling @Magic Lamps about Bayern you belittle people, slur people, so of course you are not going to get the benefit of the doubt this was the post that set me off (not on the poster, Tomo, of course, they said nothing wrong, but it made me think you were trying to slur Bayern and Germans) I will take my replies down however, given the circumstances

  18. Arsenal managerial target has already dropped hint over next club Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is under pressure after a series of tough results. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1486764/Arsenal-next-manager-Mikel-Arteta-Antonio-Conte-news-SNT Antonio Conte has reportedly upped his efforts to move to Arsenal to replace Mikel Arteta, who is under growing pressure. The former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager has been tipped to become the next Gunners boss and solve their ongoing crisis. Conte has come to a preliminary agreement to become the next Arsenal manager should Arteta be sacked. Arsenal have had a shocking start to the season after three losses in a row without a single goal scored. It has left them rooted to the bottom of the Premier League with Arteta coming under major trouble. Any further defeats could have catastrophic repercussions for the Spaniard, especially since Arsenal take on Norwich and Burnley.
  19. Italy break world record after 36 unbeaten https://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2021/0905/1244872-italy-break-world-record-with-36-unbeaten/ some confusion here, the telly and many sites say Brasil were unbeaten 35 in a row, but others say Italy has now tied them with 36 unbeaten
